(It's fine, doesn't seem like rushing at all ^^ Skipping past the uninteresting bits is key to keeping RP fun, minute details are fun but too much distracts from the story.)
Jake almost tripped over the stairs and fell on his face when she looked back and teased him like that. He was sure he had to be dreaming. This sweet young filly, the only human he'd ever though really understood horses the way his people did, was just too good for him. He had a pretty good life as far as things went, but his lucky with women was... well, what luck with women?
He felt his heart race as he followed after and let the dorm room door close. He was nervous, as he'd never hooked up with someone so casually before. The tall equine wasn't even sure where to go from there. Maybe he should throw her down and be aggressive? That's what both of those mares wanted. Then again, that's why he'd left both of them. There was little appeal to him in that. But how to break the ice?
He turned towards her, once the door was closed. A woman like Elise would be able to see the signs that his horse's face gave. The nervous glances of his eyes, the way his ears swiveled around. He was naturally searching his surroundings for danger, an instinct he couldn't suppress in this situation. "S-so... it's a nice room. I, uh... I like the decorations." His hands were gripped into fists at his sides as he tried to make his eye stop dropping to her chest. ".... pretty hard wood... I mean, the hardwood floor! It's pretty! Great workmanship, fine.. lines and..." He gave a nervous half-grin to her. "Uh... I should stop with the... talking thing, huh?"
(And he'll get less goofy once he knows her, but I know how nerve-racking his situation is. I hooked up with the only woman I've ever been with hours after meeting her, she's lucky he hasn't peed himself or run into a wall yet. I made quite a dork of myself. Thank goodness she thought it was cute.)
