Logging into The World Version 3.41.....doing system update and integrating full sensory input accessories. Please wait while integration completes.

The waiting was always annoying, but Vergil shrugged mentally, already strapped and 'jacked' into the sensor array that was part of the new The World's newest way to get as many people as they could to play their game after Cubia's last resurgence and Haseo and his friends valiant efforts to finally and truly rid the net of the viral entity. AIDA, the Avatars, and the original virus, all of it had been publicized and CC Corp shutdown, but now the rights of The World belonged to a new company and it had been given a complete re-haul, though a lot of the original two versions and their features had come along for the ride. Aura was a well known name and she was constantly sought out by adventuring parties of a new Twilight Brigade led by Ovan after his recovery and his name having been cleared of all charges. The Twilight Brigade, led by such a well known 'terrorist', though with the truth having come out Ovan had been cleared and his name restored to its previous eccentricity that was known among old members of the games, and now new ones.

Not only that, but Project G.U. had also become a household name, along with Haseo, the Terror of Death, Pi, Kuhn, Sakubo, Endrance, Atoli, Master Yata, and of course Oven, the Rebirth, were hailed as heroes and they were commonly seen banding together, and now with the new update of The World, they were even more famous due to their combined though non Avatar abilities since they were still very dangerous to use, and strength against a new creature that was supposedly invincible, similar to the old One Sin Event. With a level cap of 500, it wasn't surprising to hear of even strong enemies wiping out entire parties in one shot if they weren't tough enough.

Seeing that the download bar had hit 100%, Vergil smiled to himself under the headset and activated the game itself with a few quick keystrokes. It was the weekend, and he planned to play the hell out of the game as long as he could. Logging into it, his character profile came up at last. Himura Kenshin89, a product of the enormous list of classes and abilities that came with them, the new company having been given permission to use otherwise copyrighted materials in their character generator. His character data looked something like this.

Name; Vergil Smith

Username; Himura Kenshin89

Gender; Male

Age; 23

Appearance;
Rurouni+Kenshin+kenshin329.jpg
(FORGOT IT AGAIN!)

Race; Light Elf

Class; A high class level of Samurai, the man-slayer or assassin class based in the 'Meiji Era' of Japan. The samurai/assassin uses god like speed and amazing strength to decimate their opponents, though defense suffers because of their usually slight build, and thus they are also restricted to light armors like simple shirts and the like. Magic is also a weakness since most Battousia focuses on their physical power, but they make up for it with their agility and fortitude. When a true master of the blade uses a character class such as this, expect a line of dead bodies behind them wherever they go since the title Battousia is sought after by many, but only one can truly be called thus.

Preferred Weapon;
katanareverseblade.jpg
Reverse Blade or straight up katana. (Depending if he actually wants to kill his opponent or not.)

Armor Type; Shirts and Robes.

Personality; Vergil Smith, both online and not, is a strong hearted individual that enjoys seeing and experiencing new things. In the real world, he enjoys listening to music, reading, watching animes, (like Rourini Kenshin which his character his based off of,) and anything a typical kid his age likes to do. While his home life isn't the greatest, he usually goes through life with a smile on his face and a song in his heart.

Online though, because of what he is as far as class goes, others of the same are always picking a fight against his PC, and they always fail to succeed due to his mastery of his character's abilities. When protecting another, and they are put in danger, his gentle nature disappears and he becomes hard and unforgiving, even merciless at times, a fact that scares those that know him. Those that know him well though know he would never truly hurt a person without due cause, and even then it would take a lot to make him that angry to even consider such a course.

Ons; O/O page.

Offs; No scat, watersports, M/M stuff, or heavy mutilation. (Death in a PC setting is fine though lol.)

Real History; Vergil Smith is a heavy gamer, and has been since he was five years old. Starting small, he grew up fast and his skills developed even quicker over the years. Then The World came out and he was proven to be quite inept for a time, but even the complicated nature of the massively popular game didn't take him long to figure out. Then the virus hit, and then in the revised version of the MMORPG of massive proportions, AIDA became a problem, and Vergil took a small vacation from gaming so obsessively due to his home life not being the best. Parents being divorced will do that to anyone. Still, either on or off line, he possesses a warm hearted and compassionate nature that tends to draw others to him. Now, walking the streets as one of the first to sign into the revised World R;3, Vergil feels almost as if he has come home again since the first two versions had him hooked for days on end.

PC History; (Optional.)

Once everything was set up, Vergil grinned to himself as his mind was almost literally pulled from his body and 'downloaded' into the game space, the character generator taking care of the rest before he formed out of the Chaos Gate in one of the many new Servers inside The World's....world.

Omega Server. Steam City Gilead D'Barrison. Recommended Level 100-150.

Buying supplies from the vendors, some run by guilds much like the famous Canaard, the Newb Support Guild that rose to such heights unheard of before during the AIDA incident, Himura Kenshin89, a custom class called a Battousia, knew he was being followed by PKers as he idly let his blue eyes wander over his right shoulder as he walked the streets of Gilead D'Barrison in the Omega Server. He didn't let on he knew they were back there, twenty altogether, he just simply wandered over to the Chaos Gate that was located in the Dome to the North of the main square. They were his level perhaps, but they weren't strong in heart or spirit as he was, that much was clear from the way they pushed through the massive crowd that was a common occurrence in this game that had a following in the hundreds of millions of people. His interface allowed him to feel the cobblestone under his feet, the computer generated wind that blew through the enormous city, and smell the axle grease and oil used to lubricate the moving gears that marked this place as a Steampunk type of city, let alone 'feel' the smoke in the air as he 'breathed' it in. He knew already that a sword strike or a spell aimed his way would also hurt but it would be dampened down considerably to protect his real life body sitting in the setup that he had around him. It was the weekend and he had nothing to do that was pressing, so The World seemed like a good idea at the time.

20 against one though? I feel bad for them. Kenshin thought to himself, feeling the comfortable weight of his currently equipped weapon on his right hip. They didn't know what he was, or they wouldn't have been so eager to face him most likely. Two Steam Gunners, five Adept Rogues, Blade Brandiers, and several other class of PKers followed close behind him. It was the steam gunners that looked the strongest to the assassin's eyes, and so they would be the first to fall to his blade if he could manage to get that close of course. Reaching the blue portal a few minutes later after passing through the metal doors that slid open with a hiss of smoke and a small screeching noise that grated on the ears, Himura saw the group was closer and were just going to make the doors as he slipped through. "If you want a fight, come to Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground." He called aloud, stopping them all in their tracks as he entered the keywords and disappeared, not bothering to save his data since even if he lost Himura didn't feel it affected him much one way or the other. They were fools for being PKers, and slaying even one of them would be enough for him.

Gate Transfer. Destination. Delta, Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground. Forbidden Ground. Hulle Granz Cathedral.
