She held back a sigh as she sat down next to him on the couch. He liked holding her hands and kissing her as if they were legitimately in love and married. She wondered how he could feel so attached to her and they had only been together for a few hours. She had always been the one in a relationship to hold back and seem cold and distant at first and this relationship was no different. She didn't want to upset him, but that's just the type of person she was. He started flipping through the channels and she just sat next to him, staring at the screen blankly.
