Sophia stirred a little as Luka slid out of bed, but within seconds, her mind was overcome with dreams once again. It wasn't until he spoke again that her eyes actually fluttered open, he was leaving for his trip. She smiled slightly and nodded at his words. As she moved she groaned softly, her body hurting more then she'd expected,"I'll try to behave..." she teased as he kissed her neck. She watched him turn to exit the room and she snuggled back into the bed,"Goodbye Luka.." she called softly. Once he'd left the room she fell back asleep, not willing to deal with the pain yet. If they were going to continue the same type of relationship as the night prior, then she'd definitely have to get used to it.
She slept for several more hours, almost until the sun seemed to disappear once again for night to wash over the castle. Sophia yawned and sat up in the bed, a loud groan falling from her lips,"Oh...wow..." she mumbled as she moved to slide off the bed. As she moved to stand she yelped, her legs gave out from beneath her and she landed on her face. "Ow..." she murmured as she crawled to a sitting position. "That..is not cool..." she grumbled as she used the bed to help herself back up to a standing position. With a sigh she looked down at herself, she had his bite wound on her neck, it was still a bit tender, and her legs were sore. Neither felt as bad as her core though, she had a twinge of pain radiate from her insides with every move. But she smiled as she realized the pain was worth it.
Sophie grabbed the shirt and boxers that Luka had so kindly laid out for her, and wobbled her way to the bathroom where she could shower. She set the clothes on the sink and then turned the water on, making sure it was a hot as it could get. Then the human girl stepped into the stream of water, a soft cry falling from her lips as the water pelted on her back. It hurt having the water so hot, but she felt her muscles loosen from the built of tension as the water flowed over her. She showered for a little while before drying off and tossing on Luka's clothes. Sophie was smiling as she exited the bathroom, and then left Luka's bedroom. She ran into Melanie on her way out and smiled. "Hey, Mel..." murmured Sophie with a grin. Melanie was eying her up, a tight smile on her face. "What?" asked Sophie with a frown.
Melanie laughed,"What did you do?!" she exclaimed. "Uh...what?" asked Sophie, her face appearing puzzled. "You..you and Master Luka! You did something! What did you do!?" Melanie rushed.
"We...Why do you say that?" asked Sophie, not sure if the staff should all know about Luka's personal business. Melanie laughed and spoke again,"He was so full of smiles this morning. He was happy, and he was laughing! Nobody even said a joke, he was just...different.."
Sophie stiffened,"Uhm...I guess I just...didn't make him angry today...Look..I've..." she started to think of an excuse but couldn't,"Bye!" she mumbled as she brushed past Melanie's eager face and tried to run to her room. Her legs moved stiffly, but she eventually made it to he room without falling on her face. She entered the room and slammed the door behind her. "Oh god..." Sophie slid to the floor with her hands in her head.
Reality came crashing down upon her and she felt like she was going to scream. "What have I- Oh no no no!" she shook her head, her hands ruffling through her hair in agitation. She'd had sex with a vampire! She'd had sex with a vampire that had kidnapped her and kept her from her human life! He did save her life first...BUT-That shouldn't matter! He kidnapped her, tortured her with a stupid feather, and then she began to fall in line. She started to act the way she should, and before she realized it she'd forgotten all about the world she'd left behind. "I've..." she shook her head and stood, frowning as she walked towards her dresser. Why did she feel so connected to Luka? So close to him? The mere idea of being anywhere without him made her body shiver! "I have feelings for my sadistic master!" she cried out, her hand flying to her mouth in horror. "Oh my GOD!" she exclaimed, her heart beat rising.
"This can't...no...this is wrong. If I get caught up in feelings for him...there has to be rules against this! What if...what if he goes back to the way he was...." she shivered. The idea of Luka being cruel to her made her upset, but she never knew. Part of her felt like she could trust him, but the other parts feared him, knowing what he was. Sophie pulled open her dresser drawers and cursed ,"Melanie..you didn't finish washing my damn clothes!" cried Sophie with a groan of frustration. She went to the closet and frowned. "Really..." she snapped with her narrowed eyes. A dress sat on a hanger and she sighed. If that was all she had, she'd have to wear it. It was a simple dress, black, with a deep v-neck, straps covering her shoulders. It fell to her knees, and with a slight slit up her thigh it gave her a wide range of movement. "I have to leave...I can't...I can't be here and have feelings for Luka...I just...I can't do it!" she cried, her eyes watering at the idea of leaving.
Silently she slipped on a pair of black ballet flats and headed out of her bedroom. She smoothed her hair down as she walked the halls silently. Everyone was doing their nightly chores, so she didn't think it'd be that hard to slip out. As she reached the bottom floor of the castle she looked towards the door. A male servants stood there, in front of it. "Damn it..." she muttered. She looked around and smiled, a window. She slipped into the shadows of the castle and headed towards the window. She struggled to open it, but after a few minutes of fiddling with it, it slid up and she thanked the world for it not having a screen. Seemed old castles didn't have the new windows of the modern world. She slipped out the window and then frowned when she realized she wouldn't be able to close the window back up.
"I can't turn back...not now..." she assured herself as she dropped from the window and landed a few feet below. Her eyes scanned the area and she smiled. "There's a town right over there...just have to go through those woods first..." she grinned, feeling as if her luck was coming back. She wasted no time in running down towards the woods and beginning her journey.
The woods were dark, and rather frightening, but she moved swiftly and quietly, only occasionally tripping. A few sharp thorns scratched her skin and she cried out,"Ow..." she complained as she wiped the blood from her skin. She'd been in the woods for around an hour, walking through trees and bushes, but she eventually saw the opening to the town. "I wonder what this town is called," she murmured, her curiosity getting the best of her. Curiosity killed the cat.
