Double Sided [Me and Doom Cookie]

Noah blinked.
"No, no, it's not that... just... shouldn't your parents be worrying about you right now? Do they know where you are?"

April shrugged "They're never home to notice... I could get kidnapped and they wouldn't know about it until they got the ransom note..." her voice was gently, but saddened. It upset her how true her words were and made her want to cry. It made her want to forget the world and just stay in Noah's arms. Never leave them again. At least then she knew she'd always be safe. She'd always be able to sleep. With that she laid her head back down, not wanting to think about her family or life.

Noah frowned.
"Oh... I'm sorry April, I didnt know... you always just seemed so happy..."
He sighed softly and laid beside April, lacing his arms around her waist.

April nodded and thought about what he said. She thought she was happy, but compared to what she felt in his arms, she began to wonder. She had friends, sorta, and she did have a good family; despite their neglectfulness. But when she thought about it, she was really only going through the motions. That's all she was doing. Because in his arms she felt happy, she really did.

"I thought I was happy..." she whispered softly, placing her arms over his and lacing her fingers with his. She wasn't sure why, but talking to him like this didn't scare her. She hated talking about what went on in her head, she truly did. She didn't want to share such things with others. It didn't bother her with him though.

Noah kissed her neck softly.
"Well, I hope you're happy now, April."
He nestled his head into the back of her neck and held her there.
"April? How did your family come to be so rich, anyways?"

April smiled as he kissed her neck, a small shiver running down her spine. "I am happy" she whispered. She was really happy and she really didn't want that to end. When she heard his question she was a little surprised. No one every really cared why she was rich, they only cared that she was rich.

"Well, Dad owns several businesses and mom is a big shot lawyer. Between the two of them they have a lot of money. But they also have a lot of enemies." she shrugged. "That's just life I guess." she turned around on the couch to face him, her chest and tits against his hard chest and abs. She smiled "So what about your family babe? What's the story?"

Noah sighed softly.
"Well, I wish I could say a similar story for myself."
"Mom and dad were always in the police force. When I was five, my mother died in the middle of an armed robbery. My father had a mental breakdown and couldnt come home for quite some time. I was stuck here with a guardian for a while. It... was hard for me. When my father finally came
home, I asked where my mother was. All they told me is that my parents might take a while to get home. They never said mom would never come home..."
His voice trailed off, his eyes becoming distant and a bit glassy. It was never a fun subject for him, not that he ever talked about it with anyone except when he had to.

April frowned as she listened to him, it made her want to cry for him. Gently she reached up and held his face gently between her hands and kisses him softly before wrapping him in a tight hug. She didn't know what to say, so she didn't try. All she could do was hold him. Gently she rocked back and forth for a few moments before looking at him "I know talking about it can't be easy, but thank you for telling me." at that moment she made a promise to herself that she'd never ask hard questions like that again unless it was really needed. She didn't want to see that look in his eyes again.

Noah snuggled into her arms like he was her mother, holding her tight.
"Thank you for understanding April.." he whispered, kissing her fox muzzle softly. He nuzzled his snout against hers and rested there.
"April? Do you really like me? Or do you just like what I did?"

She nodded with a smile, kissing him back as his muzzle touched her own. She smiled as he nuzzled her snout, thinking of how cute he was. She was shocked by his question though, but once she thought about it, she wasn't surprised at all. Gently she cupped his face in her hands and whispered, "I asked you in my car because of what you did, I stay here now because of you." it wasn't an exact answer, but it was the truth. She didn't know much about him, so she couldn't say how much she liked him, she just knew that she was here because of him, not what he did. She appreciated him saving her life, yes. But it was his touch she longed for right now. His touch and his company. She wanted to be around him, she wanted to be his.

Noah listened to her every word, looking her in the eyes. She was telling the truth and he could tell. April really did like him, and not just because of some stupid incentive. She liked him for who he was, and that made him nearly cry in joy. Noah hadn't had even many acquaintances for a while. He kissed the tip of her snout.
"I knew you wouldn't lie to me," he said softly.
(time skip to school?)

April woke up the next day, still in his arms. She smiled and stretched a little before turning to kiss him. "Wake up sleepy head." she smiled and kissed him again. They got ready for school quickly, April having enough time to shower and go home for cloths. Once at school April walked and in hand with him to their first class, sitting beside him with a huge smile on her face. Everywhere they walked there was a buzz of voices. Voices that whispered about them. She was a little irritated by it and embarrassed, she felt bad. "I'm sorry about all this.." she whispered before their class started. They still had a few minutes before the lesson started.

Noah had just enough time to get up, get dressed, make breakfast and go. He walked down the hall, holding her hand gingerly, smiling to himself. He sat beside her in class, smiling back to her. He leaned forward and kissed her softly.
"It's quite alright... as long as I'm with you, that's all that matters to me, April."

She grinned and blushed, she wasn't used to affection, let alone being kissed in public. She heard a murmur go over the class before it finally grew silent. She sat through class doing her best to concentrate and take notes, though she found herself glances at him numerous times. When the class was done she got up and took his hand, walking with him to her second period class. She stood outside the door, holding his hands, whispering in his ear about how she couldn't wait for school to be done for the day. She already knew she was going to his house again.

After second period she met him in their third period class, walking up to him and kissing him timidly, still shy around others. "Almost done!" she whispered excitedly. After their third period class was over she walked hand in hand with him through the cafeteria, on their way to her car. Before they left they were confronted by a group of guys - April's fan club to say the least.

"What do you think you're doing holding her hand?" One asked.
"Yea, you're nobody." said another.

April glared at the lot of them. "If it wasn't for me all of you would be nobodies." she said coldly, but the boy all ignored her.

Noah was anxious the entire day for school to end. He couldn't wait to get back to April.
When confronted, he looked over all the guys, and smirked. Yeah, well, look where I am now, he thought to himself.
"Look, I know you guys are jealous, but lay off and I'll cut you some slack, hmm?" he said. The wolf was not being a snob, as was obvious to April who knew he wouldn't do that; much more of joking the guys.

April didn't want a fight to start and she knew his words would only provoke them further. Quickly she stepped between them, her backside against Noah's front. She grabbed his arms and wrapped them around her waist. Before the other guys could say anything she spoke up, a crowd now gathered around them. "I have what I want, back off." her voice was cold and flat with seriousness as she spoke. She didn't need Noah getting in trouble for putting these boys in the hospital. But they didn't listen.

"April get out of the way!" one snarled.
"Yea, he needs to be taught a lesson!" another said.

With that several of the boys lunged out at the pair, April finding herself shoved out of the way quickly by Noah. All she could do was stand there and watch, but it wasn't for Noah that she worried.

Noah watched all several approach with a soft smile. He barely sidestepped and managed to swing out with his leg and decked three without serious injury. The other four surrounded him. Noah chuckled softly and cracked his neck.
"Games. Fun."
Two lunged out at him, but Noah merely ducked. He hooked his arm around oneq's leg, taking him to the ground. He stood and winded the other with a strong punch to the gut, knocking
him down. That left two.
He turned and leaned backwards to dodge an incoming and rather poorly aimed punch. He grabbed the arm and put it behind the boy's back, using him as a meatshield to block the last one. He shoved one into the other, now all seven boys who had attacked on the ground in less than a minute, none with serious or permanent injury. Noah whistled bemusedly and took April's hand, parting the crowd as he walked through it. He made it to the parking lot where no further disturbance was found.
"Well that was... interesting."

April watched in shocked astonishment. Noah, her Noah, had just taken down all those guys on his own. Most of them were jocks! She just smiled when he took her hand though. She walked through the crowd holding his hand proudly as they walked. That's right, he was all hers and she was all his. A murmur came over the crowd as they walked through it, but she didn't care. She was with him and that's all that mattered to her.''

Once outside she smiled and him and jumped on him, her arms around his neck and her legs around his hips. "You were amazing!!!!" she kissed him over and over again. She knew he would catch her so jumping on him wasn't an issue. But she was so proud of him. He could have easily killed all those boys but he didn't. She was so proud of him and so excited for the day to be over and she couldn't wait for them to get home. She knew she'd get to be in his arms and they would watch tv or a movie or play some games. She couldn't wait.

Noah laughed softly and snuggled her close, lacing his arms around her waist. He drew her in and kissed her softly, before drawing back and setting her down. He walked her to his motorcycle; no less, and hopped on, putting April right behind him.
--
He scooped April up in his arms as they arrived at his home. Noah walked in and set her to her feet as Noah finally noticed his father was actually home. The wolf didn't look too shabby; he still appeared fairly young.
"Erm... hello there... Noah," he said. "I was just.. leaving."
His dad walked out the door and Noah turned to April.
"Awkward much."

April didn't know what to think of the man that left Noah's house, she assumed it was his dad. She said nothing and followed Noah inside, nodding as he spoke. It had been awkward. No real hello, no introduction, no real interest at all. She wasn't sure what to think about it. But she quickly pushed that thought aside as she sat down on the couch. "Come cuddle babe." she smiled "I promise not to fall asleep during the movie this time." she giggled as she patted the couch beside her.

Noah smirked and sat beside her on the couch, instantly wrapping his arms tight around her and holding her close. He kissed her snout and snuggled into her. "Mm.. would you like something to drink for our movie? Milk? Soda? Jack... Daniels?"
He chuckled softly and held her in his arms, excited to have her here again.

April was happy to have his arms around her so tightly, the feeling so warm and comforting. She giggled at his question. "Jack and soda... if we're not going anywhere till tomorrow.." she said with a nervous smile. She'd never drank before and figured she was safe here with him, so why not? They weren't going anywhere till morning, that was plenty of time to sober up. It was only one pm to start with so they had plenty of time!

Noah chuckled and went to the fridge and mixed up some Jack in their sodas... maybe a little too much. He handed her her drink and sat beside her, taking a gulp of his. He set down his cup for a moment.
"My dad always has the fridge full of this stuff."

April smiled and took the glass timidly from him, taking a sip and realizing that it tasted good. Strong, but good. "That could be fun. " she smiled up at him. She'd never done anything like this and it kind of excited her. She picked up the remote for the TV and roamed through the channels, trying to find something to watch. Finally settling on a movie she'd seen before, not even realizing that there was a sex scene half way through the movie. She looked at Noah and gently took his hand in hers, thinking about how this was such a dream to her. She continued to drink from her glass, loving it's taste and the bite it had to it. Quickly feeling the buzz it caused and thinking nothing of it.

Noah smiled and let her choose the movie, totally unaware to it's contents. He leaned against April, cuddling up to her, his mind a bit bogged by the drink. He had nearly downed all of it by now. He wrapped his arms around her and shifted her into his lap, hunkering down to watch the movie with her. He gave her a soft kiss to the back of the neck.
