Useless trivia: Dogs don't sweat from their tongue; they pant and cool themselves mostly through the evaporation process. Dogs DO sweat through their paw pads as that is the only place they have sweat pores.

I have endless dog trivia: The tiny sturdy little pug was bred down directly from the English Bull Mastiff so that people could easier afford to feed and keep them.
 
Black and white cats are predominantly black on the top and white underneath, because someone tried to breed one with an all black top half and an all white bottom half. That's why you never seen one with a white back and black tummy and legs.

Did you know: Tom Nook, the main shopkeeper and home salesman of Animal Crossing, was fashioned after the Tanooki. I was called on my earlier trivia posting about the "coldest place in the known universe" being in a cooler in Vancouver, British Columbia, measured at seventeen nanoKelvin. Another Member asked if there might not be a location in deep space colder than that. I did some checking and found that no place in deep space has yet to be found below five hundred nanoKelvin, and I have no difficulty believing that.

Did you know: kapo, also from animal crossing, is a direct link to kappa? Kappa are strange duck like demons with plants on their head. Usually neutral or servants, they are not good or evil. Kapo's songs mimic the random qualities of kappa, such as liking fruit.
