It took Shuraste only a moment to confirm that he was indeed inside of her room, he could see her body through the material of her bed hanging and could smell... so many different sweet things in the room that he could hardly name him. Different from his own bedchambers which were scented with night blooming flowers, jasmine and the like which he always found relaxing. She would soon learn to prefer those scents compared the the honey and vanilla scent of her own room. Shuraste pushed this thought aside though, it was a distraction that he hardly needed when he was trying to take his chosen back with him to her new home. This sort of desire he was feeling could end up driving him insane, Drow being as susceptible as their cousins to the pains of the heart. Once he had her though it would be a moot point for both of them, no danger at all.
He was dressed in simple black cotton, normally preferring leather but the cotton allowed for greater range of motion and made a great deal less noise as he glided across the floor toward Silv's bed, gently pulling aside the hanging that stood between him and what he desired. For a moment he could do nothing more then just stare down at his prize, brushing a stray hair away from her face and back over her ear. “I'm here for you Princess.” He whispered as he carefully scooped her up into his arms and without any apparent strain began to carry her toward the portal, still in place where he had stepped through it, so focused on his goal he didn't even notice if she was moving or awake in his arms, perhaps she would think it a dream.
And then they were through, in his room where everything had been set out for them, low burning candles, fine silver chains laying out on the bed should the need arise, wine and simple fruits arranged should hunger or thirst be felt... nothing would be interrupting what he had in mind. And then, with the utmost delicacy Shurast lay Silvanna down on his bed, pleased to see her where she truly belonged.
