Silvianna was one among many young women who were invited to the masquerade ball, but while the others were very nervous, happy, and looking forward to throwing themselves at the heir of the kingdom, she was not so happy. She was not as other princesses were, she was born into it, but her father and mother both had fought with their own hands to get where they were and that in the eyes of some made them low royalty, but still royalty, which she figured was the reason she even got an invitation. She would not be rude and decline so she purchased the best and finest materials and began working on her own dress and mask for the event, often very proud since she would not be wearing anything similar to the other girls, making her stand out due to that creative spark. She chose silk and fine fabrics, in silver and white and began making the gown from scratch and finished it the day before the ball.
Once the day had come she slipped into the dress with ease and it looked absolutely stunning, then again anything she wore looked beautiful on her no matter what. She put her tiara on and over it the mask once she arrived at the large castle in her carriage, and as such she was assisted out my the vallet who gazed in awe for a moment before remembering they had a job and helped her to the stand in her silver slippers, not bothering with heels since they were pretty, but would leave blisters in an event like this. Around her neck was a white lace ribbon that fall down over her shoulder. She stood only about five foot five inches, average size for a young woman her age. Her bright sky blue eyes looked around for a moment before heading to the door and presenting her invitation. Like the rest she was introduced at the entrance to everyone by a very loud man calling out names, and was lead down by a handsome young servant into the large crowds of people.
Looking about she smiled and greeted those who greeted her and could feel eyes on her, knowing they were all wondering about her gown and where she could have bought it. Smirking a little she walked past a few gentlemen trying to ask her for a dance whom she politely declined and proceeded to the nearest window to look up into the night sky and the stars and full moon, thinking to herself how beautiful it was. He long silver hair was let down and flowed to her mid back and over her bust, long bangs fell around her cheeks, framing her pretty face. One thing that many noticed and probably found odd about her was the piercings in her ears, three in each and a small silver chain attached all three together. The ears were very pleasurable for an elf, but very painful if gripped too hard, or in her case pierced, so some would not doubt think she was insane for getting more than one in each ear as girls normally did. Her white mask hid much, but her eyes often told a lot if she allowed others in.
