Detective Perils (for Dingo)

The Detective stepped cautiously out of her car again. Short black dress riding up her leg she hurried to move it back down and fix her pantyhose. An uneasy feeling settled in the pit of her stomach she just couldn't shake. Something was wrong -- well a lot of things had went wrong, but she was missing something, and she knew it. But what was it? What couldn't she see?

She reached into her matching purse and took out a silver necklace, letting it hang from her neck between her breasts. A sigh escaped her lips, she was sure she could seduce the scumbag -- it was part of the plan after all if she had gotten caught, but she'd never expected to have to... have to do anything like this... Just distract whoever caught her until she could get out, not spend a night with the scum, and certainly not under blackmail. Still, she doubted her pray was that smart after all, and she could lure him into her web right before she dealt the final blow and sent him up the river, and that thought did give her a slight smile.

Alex was ready. He hid his weapons incase the cop decided to snoop some more, with the exception of the revolver that he could keep thanks to papers. He then got a bottle of wine and did an old trick he saw in a movie, and provide it true and usefull. He pushed a needle into the cork, filled with the liquid from the vial, and pressed the plunger, pushing the potion into the drink. He withdrew the needle and swerrled the drink in the bottle around a bit before he went to his matches and lit one, placing the heat over the wax cover and sealing up the hole in the wax seal, make it look like nothing was wrong with it. "Hole in wax, problem. Hole in cork, not a problem, corks have holes to begen with," he thought to himself as he grabbed two wine glasses and went to the living room. He placed the bottle and glasses on the table followed by him taking a white pill, swallowing it without complaint of the bad taste. "Show time," He thought when he heard the car come up. He had made sure the house was unlocked, almost as if its lock down had never happened a short while ago. The potion was an aphrodisiac Alex had gotten during a small case in South America and was garunteed to make women go nuts when it got into their system. However, it worked the same on men unless they took the pill, like he did, to enjoy the night and remember it as well. "Time to play, detective," He thought as he placed his PDA away and cracked a small grin on his face.

Natasha hesitated at the door, taking a deep calming breath and forced herself to stop biting her lip. Sticking her hand in her purse she dug around for her cellphone, checking to see if she still had signal. Three bars flashed at her from the screen. Good. At least she had contact with the station, just in case things went wrong. Although she would not know how to explain her being here, after all, everyone thought she was back at home, relaxing after the day's work. Still, the thought of it make her feel better about the whole ordeal.

She slipped it back inside the purse and brought her hand up to the brass knocker on the door and she rapped it a few times, hearing the ecco of the brass inside the house.

(Sorry for the long delay, got my internet back online)

Alex heard the knocks on the front door and walked over to it, looking through the peep hole to see the cop from earlier standing at the door. He cracked a grin for a quick second before he pulled the door open. He looked her over, for the second time of corse but he had to act like it was his first time seeing her. "Well," Alex stated in a low, slightly excited tone, "he didn't give you justice describing you. I take it you are Natasha, the names Alex, would you like to come in," he toyed as he opened the door farther and invited the cop into his house; looking normal as a normal house can look.

(ah, I'd thought you'd just didn't want to continue. Okies then)

"And Alex, I wasn't aware you looked so charming." she replied smoothly, flashing him a smile as she stepped into the doorway.
Natasha subtly scanned the house the best she could without arousing suspicion. It didn't look like anything had changed since she'd been here before. Silently she cursed herself for getting into this mess to begin with, had she just not been so stubborn with her colleague at the station non of this would have happened. She wouldn't have found herself in this creep's house, far out of her comfort zone, in what she had to do, and her style of dress, and without backup or a weapon? Still... the look on her co-workers faces whens he brought him down, all by herself.... she couldn't wait for the look in her boss' eyes.

Alex chuckled a bit as he closed the door behind Natasha and followed behind her. "My friend seems to be lacking the power of describbing wonderful people to each other," Alex stated as his phone started to ring. He cracked a small smile, knowing this would draw in the detective a bit to listen, and pulled out the phone. "I'm sorry, a buisness call I have to take, make yourself at home, wine on the table if you would like." He walked over to the kitchen and accepted the call. "Markov, tell me good tiddings."
A strong russian voice spoke up, "got the goods."
"You're not haggling me like usual, so what's the bad news?"
"Security guard. Look, we got the circut boards just fine but that guard IDed us and so we had to shoot him."
"How bad did he bite it?"
"Not bad in pain, Alexander was a marksmen and so, between the eyes."
Alex sighed heavily and said, "You know what needs to happen now, right?"
"I know. We go to Charlie, just hate to do this."
"The plan had nothing to do with undertaking in the start of things, I know I stressed that part out heavily before we set it into action."
"I understand. We'll replace him first thing in the morning. What about the boards."
"Hector."
"Got it."
"Have a good night, Makarov." Alex ended the call with a small smile. Alexander would be dead, Chu would get his parts, and he have a detective to play with as well; he couldn't stop enjoying this even if he wanted to. He placed the phone back into his pocket and turned around to walk back into the living room.

Natasha's heart sped up as she overheard his end of the phonecall.

She quickly moved back over to the living room, sitting down. What happened? she frowned, annoyed, then took a deep breath. It wouldn't be long, she thought, and this scum would be behind bars finally. That's all she had to focus on.

She crossed her legs, causing her skirt to ride up a little more and pulled down her top, letting more clevage out in the open. She looked up to him when he returend, meeting his eyes. "Something important?" she asked fluttering her eyelids at him.

"Buisness got bumpy, I was asked what needed to happen since it did," Alex replied as he couldn't stop smiling. He noticed the skirt riding up a bit as he took a seat next to the detective. "I'm curiose, where did he find a beauty like you," Alex stated as he opened the wine bottle and poured into the two glasses. When he set the bottle back down, he handed one of the glasses to Natasha and said, "a long night tonight, might help loossen up a bit." Alex still had the smile but he wanted it to seem he was happy because business was put right and a woman to enjoy for the night, not because of the long run plans he had in mind that would go on, even long after the night was over with.

"It might indeed." she said smiling at him, taking a sip of the wine. She really didnt favor wine, but it had a oddly pleasant flavor to it, and it didn't take her long to finish the glass. Her body felt just a slight bit tingly, like she had an energy coursing in her bones. I always did love the rush of an undercover assignment. she admitted to herself and smiled again as the conversation continued. It wasn't long however till she found herself sliding into the creeps lap, tracing her fingers along his shirt, the tips of her ears red and warm.

Alex slowly drank the wine from his glass when he noticed Natasha moving over. "Well, I think someone's a light drinker," Alex cooed as he placed an arm around her and held her close. "You know, you feel a tad warm, you feeling well, dressed to warmly perhaps," Alex stated as he poured another glass and handed it to Natasha. "Maybe some more drink will help you," He stated. He didn't say however less clothes would help as well. His face still held the smile.

He was warm. She noted when he pulled her closer. She breathed in deeply, inhaling his scent. Smelled good too. A shudder went down her spine as she took the glass. "I dont think I should." she said, trying to figure out what exactly she had planned on doing at this point, but brought the glass to her lips anyway.

Alex chuckled a bit and watched the detective bring the glass to her lips. He leaned in and whispered into her ear, "if you ask me, I think you look cute with that glow you have radiating off of your body right now." Alex wrapped his arm a little tighter but leaned away a bit as his other hand rested on her shoulder and trailed down her arm with the tips of his fingers.

(ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I never knew you replied to this!! So sorry!!!! >.<)

She tipped the rest of the drink into her glass, a small part of her mind wondering how she'd finished so quickly. Goosebumps ran down her arms as he touched her, yet she could only bring herself to respond by smiling stupidly, her face getting red.

(Sorry for the delay, life caught up to me.)

Alex continued to smile at the detective. Part of him enjoying this because he was able to push her into this situation but also because he figured her to be either getting clueless as to who he truly was and clueless to the drug in the drink. "So," Alex stated as he lightly massaged her shoulder, "my friend told me you live an interesting life and I should ask you to talk about it. So, what do you do if not bring happiness to the people you are around?"

"I-I dont know what you were told." she stammered, her face getting read. She felt shivers go down her spine as he touched her shoulders. She started talking about the boring office paperwork and schedules she dealt with at the station, not letting it slip her involvement with the police. "I guess you could say theirs more to me than meets the eye..." she added, fluttering her eyelashes. As the two of them talked, she found herself sliding into his lap, blushing like crazy at her forwards behavior. A small quite part of her head yelled at her for what she was doing, but she paid it little mind."I think your life might be more interesting than mine." she whispered.
