Marcus saw the girl become a blur and lowered his giant arm to take the force of her claws digging into his forearm. Raising his other gigantic fist, he brought it down heavily toward the girl in an attempt to break her. Of course, something simple as bone smashing wouldn't kill a vampire, but it would hurt her. He wasn't worried, she'd simply regenerate her wounds and be good within the following day.

Silva was surprised that he had taken the hit, but with him she knew his body was tough and figured out what the next move he would make would be, and saw the fist coming, trying to move, but she did not try to avoid it, instead she tried to ease into it, absorb some of it enough to not get too hurt by it, even though it would hurt, and she was right, it hurt, but she ignored it for now and focused on what was at hand, trying to beat him. When the fist connected with her she stumbled back a bit, but not as far as she should have and she came again.
