Alice was young, and she had been tricked into falling for a very handsome man, but her life was not all happy and joyous before meeting him. Her adoptive parents were cruel and horrible, her life was hell before she met her new lover, and it seemed that this man did not care that she was low class, he was from what she knew a noble, but she had not heard of him before in the town, and for a high class man to be interested in a low middle class peasant was not common, but it was her beauty and personality that he seemed to like, not her status in society. After telling the man she could not be with him things took a turn for the worse. Alice was attacked on her way home from work and while the four planned on raping the poor girl the strange man had other plans, he came to her rescue killing three of the four men, but in the end she was caught in the cross fire and nearly killed, had it not been for the man she had met she would have been dead permanently.

What happened next was a blur to her in mind, but her body remembered, he had changed her without her knowing, exchanging blood, and bedding her. He made short work of the young beauty and made her his new pet and lover, or at least that is what he asked of her, giving her the choice to be with him or he would show her how to survive and let her go. Now it was the third day after being turned and he wanted her to return to the village to hunt, and in order to do so she would have to return to the village using her senses instead of a map or lead there, but he left out a major detail about staying out of the Hunter's forest and that night accidentally stumbled on the boundary of his land without realizing it.

Alice stood about five foot five, average if not a little slender size for a woman of her age, 20 at most, her long dark red hair fell to her mid back and was tied back out of her face with a dark blue ribbon showing her deep dark blue eyes from beneath the long straight bangs caressing her cheeks, her eyes were something that she possessed before being changed and made her dark red hair stand out as well as her pale pearly white skin. She was flawless, her curves perfect for any man, the change had done nothing except preserve her beauty, she had looked like this before being changed, it had merely been hidden by unflattering clothing and peasant garb so no one saw how beautiful she really was once cleaned up. Her bust was a firm C and her hips were perfectly proportioned. Her full lips let out a sigh as she walked through the woods in her long dark sapphire blue dress with silver embroidery and a silver chain belt around her hips showing off her slender figure. Unless trained others would not have known what she was, her makeup made her look like she was still alive and her body had never gone cold as others do her body remained warm, she seemed unique and her master loved it and her. She looked around slowly unable to shake the feeling of being followed and watched, her breathing soft, a natural habit from being alive.

(Nathan = Avatar)

Nathan Stone was a world renowned vampire hunter...why? Because he was known to fight vampires, hand...to hand...He was stronger than most humans, he was almost demonic in strength when it came to fighting regular humans...it was as if he were one of the beings he was fighting, yet he was fully human. His signature weapon was bladed tonfas made of silver...though it was like this:

The blades were made inside the tonfas and could come out to kill a vampire with one hit, depending on where he had pierced the vampire. Other than that, they were regular silver tonfas, capable of doing permanent physical damage to nearly any vampire that came his way...that managed to live.

Tonight, Nathan was walking around the woods under the guise of an old man. Wearing a coat over his head that made him resemble a holy priest, he had a cane in hand...another of his special weapons, though not one he usually used. The cane's tip could shoot out silver darts and even be used as a small blade with the tip of the darts. Walking along slowly in the woods, he listened for the sound of any vampire that would come to him...

Alice walked through the forest slowly, silently, and she was beautiful, her hair and eyes seemed to sparkle in the moon light, any male would have stopped to stare at her, and even come to try and speak to her if they could calm their heart enough as well as their breathing to speak. And in the forest some would mistake her from a nymph, or gorgeous mythical creature, not a vampire. But unlike the others she did not know her powers yet, she would learn if frightened badly enough or over time.

Half way to the village she caught the scent of someone, a human, but when she came to where he had been walking she noticed he was older, and sighed, shaking her head, while others like preying on old people, she did not, it seemed too weak and in the forest it seemed to convenient. Her deep blue eyes scanned the area, seeing nothing but the old man and his cane. Walking a little closer she was sure to keep her distance from him, being cautious. "Sir, are you lost? Would you like some help to the village? It is not too far." She asked, she was far too sweet for her own good and fully intended on taking him to the village then go after a younger drunk man at the tavern in the village.

Alice's voice was soft, sweet, and kind, and none of it was being faked, her voice was like velvet and she could sing, and dance, her master favored playing the violin and having her dance for him.

Upon hearing a woman, Nathan made sure not to show his face to her. Not even looking at her, he spoke in the imitation of being an elderly man. "Why hello there missy..." His hand began to shake and he began to cough hard, just playing into the act. "Yesh...I'm a bit lost here see...If ya could kindly take me to the nearest town, I'd be grateful to ya."

Nathan could sense that she wasn't like the other humans or vampires, yet he could feel an aura from her that wreaked of vampires...though...she seemed different. She didn't attack him on sight like most others did...but what really got him interested, was that her aura wreaked of a certain vampire...a vampire that got him into this line of business in the first place.

Hearing his words something seemed off, but she nodded and pointed in the right direction, "Alright, the village is not far off in this direction, either we can walk there together, or I can go find someone to bring you back if it is too difficult for you to walk?" She asked, being as kind and sweet as possible, but none of it was fake or acting, she was just naturally a sweet individual even now when it came to people who did not mean her any harm.

Alice was in fact different, apart from having the vampire to her she was very unique, as her master had said, she was an oddity, and should not have let her out of his sight so soon till he knew she could handle herself in this situation. She however did not know much at all and was suppose to be starting soon in learning what she needed to know, after her first hunt and feeding, but she was not about to feed on this old man, but something about him was just not right, she could not tell what it was though, but still she offered to help him back to the village before going on her hunt tonight. "So what is your name Sir?" She asked softly, trying to be polite as she began to walk with him, "My name is Alice." She added, introducing herself to him since she did not figure someone this old would remember or really care much.

"My name..." He was taking a risk here...this would draw out the vampire if she made any sort of reaction to his name. "...is Nathan Stone." He said, still not looking at her though he turned his head enough to peer through the fabric of the coat over his head to see her face. She was actually cute, if not beautiful...and her skin color was not as pale as most vampires were. 'Make-up' he thought. 'Lots of vampires use it to trick some people...this one is clever...she's the most human out of them all in her fake personality.'

"If you could take me home dear, that'd be mighty kind of you." He said to her as he began to walk slowly away, shaking and using most of his weight on the cane like an old man.

She thought she had heard the name before, but it was not coming to mind yet, she knew nothing of an old man named Nathan Stone, so for the time being she did not worry about it. Nodding her head she followed him, being very kind the entire way, making idle chit chat, doing nothing more than being polite and respectful to the old man. "So how did you get lost out here in the first place? It is an odd place for you to be? Did you wander out on accident?" She asked.

Looking around she nodded, "Where is your home? I need to be home myself before I get in trouble for being out too late," she said softly, and that was true, if she was gone too long her master would be angry and punish her for it, but she had not planned on being late, and so she did not worry about it. A common mistake some make is the sun does burn, but it would not kill her right away, she could make it from the lake and back to her master's lair before burning completely and dying, her master on the other hand was older, and her body was unnaturally tolerant to the sun light, so she could go out in the sin and get mild burns before they began to effect her and it would take an hour before she got to the point where it burnt her entire body and had her in terrible pain. She was rare, and a treasure, and her master would of course regret not keeping her closer after this night.

(Wait is her master a guy or a girl?)

Walking along, Nathan answered all her questions. "I was just walking along when my sanity left me...seems it happens a lot lately. When I came too I was out here in this here forest we're in...quite a predicerment right?" He said chuckling as he walked on. "Tell me dear...do you have a place you stay around here? Anyone who live with you?" He said as he walked along. He turned to look at her in a way that only his mouth and down could be seen, trying to draw her out. He would seem more younger than she'd think he was, but he still didn't show his face completely. Not yet.

(Her master is a guy, hence she thinks of him as 'him, he, and master')

She smiled and gave a soft giggle nodding her head, "Yes I suppose that is quite a predicament, well at least you did not get hurt by any wild animals out here, but please be more careful, don't want you getting hurt out here." She said softly as she walked through the woods with him. His next question was a little odd as she looked at him to answer she noticed his mouth slightly from under the cloak, making her very suspicious. "I use to live in a village not far from here, but I fell in love with someone and so I moved in with him not too far from here." She explained as she walked, her tone had changed a little, more cautious than before, having been sincere and sweet, now she was not so sure this old man was really who or what he said, trying to think now about the name again, hopefully before it was too late, and if she was lucky she could run back to the safety of her master.

(Oh okay. I'm tired so I must've got a few words mixed up. Darn, could've had a good plot twist :3 )

Nathan smiled. "Must've been nice Youngun. I'm glad you could find that true person you were looking fer to be your lover." He said before stopping to look at her. "A small village around these parts huh? Ghillie, I presume?" He said as he knew that Ghillie was a village known for disappearances...yet no one knew why...though he suspected them to be because of vampires...He had her in his sight now, there would be no way for her to run if she did...she walked into a bear trap the moment she spoke to him.

Smiling she nodded, "Yes, he saved me, some horrible men intended on raping and killing me on my way home and he defended me when no one else would, no one was around, and no one cared, people can be so horrible." She said absently, shaking her head she gave him a soft smile, "I am sorry I am probably boring you with my story, we are almost to the village now," She told him, trying to calm herself as her mood slowly changed. She heard his question and was a little thrown off, nodding her head, "Yes, how did you know?" She asked as she stepped away from him, taking a step or two, knowing the village was not far off. "I should go home, Micheal is waiting for me, and he does not want me home late." She said softly, trying to take a few more steps back, the name now ringing a bell, and all she could do was hope it was not too late to flee to the safety of her master's arms.

Nathan stopped at the sound of his voice...the man who was the reason he was in this line of business, the man who slaughtered his troops on the battlefield when they did nothing wrong as they tried to protect the city from the madman. Turning to her, he took off the coat swiftly and enveloped her with it, tying her up so that she was tied with her arms to the side. "Michael huh? Yeah...He won't be seeing you anytime soon 'dear'." His voice completely changing. Nathan just chuckled. "I've been chasin this guy for a looong while...and now I have his precious 'lover'? Yeah...things are about to get fun."

Seeing him move was odd, she had not expected it since she was not sure of who he was till now, and her reaction was slow, and so when the cloak came around her and he tied her in it she panicked, trying to pull away, her eyes full of fear as she looked up at him shaking her head, "What do you mean, and why are you doing this to me?" She asked, confused since her master had told her nothing of this man other than a name, not the reason for his hate toward her master. Her beauty on the other hand did not change, others would have dropped the charade the moment he attacked, but her beauty remained as well as her act of innocence and the kind sweet voice. "Please let me go, I have done nothing to you." She said nervously as she tried to struggle out of it the best she could, but to no avail she was unable to break free, she was too hungry and it was starting to show, the dark blue eyes were turning a dark shade of purple, the red mixing with her blue, but if he looked closely, nothing about her beauty was false, no make up, or glamor tricks, she really was stunning in the sapphire blue dress.

Seeing her, he stopped where he was as he stared at her, mouth slightly agape. He was surprised that she was still as beautiful as before...her innocence still in tact. "I knew there was something...different about you than the others." He said frowning as he walked over and picked her up. She was his now, and Michael would have to come get her. "Sorry about this, but its to get back at your lover. I won't harm you unless it comes to me having to do so." He said as he began to dash off in the forest toward his home, a small burrow beneath a tree trunk.

Dropping inside, he lit a lantern as he lay her on the bed. The burrow was as large as a normal home...it was easy for him to do however. "You just stay here until your precious 'Michael' comes to save you."

Seeing him stare made her wonder what he was thinking about, was she strange looking, she always thought she was average before her master had cleaned the girl up from being a peasant to a beautiful girl who could easily pass as a princess and with a better personality as well. "What do you mean you knew there was something different? How could you tell? And what can you tell about me?" She asked, finding herself a little curious about what he knew compared to what her master knew just from hanging her and tasting her blood and feeling her body, if Nathan bothered to touch her he would find that even her skin was as warm as any other woman, a very odd thing since vampires were often cold after death, she was almost human had it not been for the red that her eyes were beginning to slowly turn as she was carried to his home, hoping her master would find her soon. "What are you going to do with me once my Master does come?" She asked, hoping killing her was not one of the choices. But she was not sure if he would let her go either, espacially if she got stronger and wanted revenge if he did manage to kill the man that had changed her, her loyalty to him rather amazing, but what she did not know was Micheal wanted her for her body and how rare a girl like her was, not much other than that. She allowed him to lay her down on the bed before looking at the house around her. "He will not come tonight, sun rise will be here too fast, and we do not have a connection as others do, he can after the fourth day of me being his, but today is my third, I am new and in others eyes a child." She said as she watched him, her eyes that of a predator as she tried to look away, not wanting to seem like she was going to attack him, but she was getting hungry and would not be able to hold that back too longer, not as though she could do anything in this position, but she would begin to weaken and need to feed as soon as possible. She was confused and a little frightened, and angry. "What are you going to do to him? Please don't kill him." She asked softly.

"I'll do what I want with him, if I want to kill him, I will." He said as he walked over to her. "By different...I mean...I can sense your aura. I've been with vampires longer than any other hunter could ever imagine. I'm still human, and not a day over nineteen...but I've been fighting vampires since I was twelve." He said glaring at her. "Judging by your eyes..." He said as he put a thumb under one and lowered it so he could see the underside of her eyeball. "...you're hungry." He said frowning as he took out a small knife. Showing it to her, he cut his thumb that began to slowly leak blood. Placing it next to her mouth, but not physically touching her, he spoke to her. "Drink. There should be enough that comes out to satisfy you until midnight. I may be the enemy in your eyes but I'm not completely harmless."

His words seemed so cruel to her as he sad he would do what he wanted making her stomach clench, hoping he would not, but she could not stop him. She nodded slowly, listening to him. Shrugging her shoulders she nodded, "I suppose your right, my master said I am very unique, I can last longer in the sun, my body does not deteriorate from being hungry, and I wear no make-up, I have no need for it he said. And my body is not the same, while it feels normal to me, I am almost the same as a normal young woman." She said softly, but the moment he reached forward she looked at his hand and watched as his fingers touched her flesh, knowing he would understand what her master meant right away, she was warm, not like other vampire corpses. She watched him she was a little unease about accepting blood from him, and even looked to her body still bound by the cloak and refused to drink for a moment, "May I be released from this, other bindings would be fine and I won't fight you, but please take this off of me." She requested, even though her eyes were on her thumb. One thing she left out was silver, most were effected by it, and even burn, she merely was weakened to what she had been before when human, weaker than him, but still a vampire. She was not lying, and had not lied to him at all so far. She sighed softly as she leaned forward a little her lips gently closing around the wound of his thumb, and while she did not bite down she did use her lips to apply pressure to assure her that she got more than a few drops, but she would stop before he asked her to, and once finished she even gave his thumb a gentle lick, closing it up, her eyes returning to their natural dark deep blue.

He did not wince to the small pinch of her sucking on the wound of his thumb. He stood there, waiting for her to finish and upon feeling her lick his thumb when she was done, he bandaged it up right away with wrapping bandages. "Well...now that thats take care of." Taking the knife, he began to cut the cloak off of her so that she was freed, yet he made sure she wouldn't run. No, she couldn't overpower him...not many vampires could...he made sure of it. "You'll be living here until your 'Michael' comes and before the end of that day...one of the two of us will be dead, me or him."

He said before getting up and moving over to the burrow exit, closing it with a block of wood that slid into the hole perfectly. It acted as the door, yet the room...no, the house underneath the tree stump was lit up by various lanterns. "Make yourself at home, but do not anger me...I'm quick to anger when it comes to vampires...even if they're oddly warm as if they were alive still. If you anger me, I will not hesitate to use this." He said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small whip.

Hearing him she seemed to glare at him sighing softly, shaking her head, once free however she moved to keep distance between them, not wanting the hunter near her now, she was not completely full, but it was good enought for now, but she knew her master was expecting her back before sunrise, and if she was not home by then, then he would know something was wrong and the first place he would check would be with his enemy. She however was irritated as she looked up at him seeing the whip she was not too worried, not caring if she angered him, she had done nothing so far to anger him at all.

His words seemed so mean and she finally spoke up as she asked, "Why do you hate me, I was being nothing but kind to you, I have not wronged anyone, and I never intended to. So why must you be hateful toward me?" She asked, coldly as she sat down in a nearby chair, trying to relax a little, but that was difficult with this male there. The one thing she did not know that her master was that she had been innocent when changed and so she had been allowed to keep her conscience, and soul, so if she were to die she would not got to hell or be stuck in some limbo, she had lived a good life the best she could as a peasant. She looked to the door of the house wondering if she could get to it, and if not where she would sleep for the night, not wanting to sleep on the floor, but also she wanted to stay away from this monster, which seemed like the teapot calling the kettle black, but to her he was more of a monster than her master.

Nathan shook his head. "I don't hate you, I hate what you are...and who you're in love with. Sorry, if it could be anyone else I would let it happen but...I need some way of drawing Michael out from where he is hiding. I don't like going to Ghillie, its not worth losing my life...so I tend to hang around the outskirts where vampires are scarce but still kill-able." He said as he watched her every move, eyes on hers rather than her luscious looking body. "Tell me...how is Michael nowadays? The last time we met he left me with a broken arm...healed up nicely though, yet I have some stiffness in it now because of him."

He leaned back against the chair he was sitting on as he watched the vampire before him. She deserved so much better, not to be with a madman that was only here for revenge...but she was the only way of drawing him out. If she hadn't said anything...he would actually have let a vampire go home free without a scar or a fight. "I'm getting too soft..." He muttered to himself as he was in deep thought.

Hearing him she was a little surprised, shaking her head angrily, "I am barely your age, I was attacked by four men, humans, who planned to rape and kill me, they nearly did as well, I was dying and Micheal gave me a choice, either let me die, or take me home with him and be his, I did not want to die, not yet, not so soon, so I agreed. He changed me, but I was scared and did not want to die, not like that." She explained as she looked away from him, "My master is fine from what I can tell, he is rather quiet, he usually is either talking with me and spending time with me, or playing violin while I sing or dance," She said, feeling a little upset at the thought that Nathan wanted to kill him. What she did not know was that she was not sure if she loved Micheal for the right reasons, but she had agreed to be his lover, hence the reason she called him such. "You said you hate what I am, why? I have harmed no one, and I will never harm anyone, not the same way others of my kind do, my conscience is too strong for that." She said softly. She sighed as she leaned back in the chair, not wanting to look at Nathan, knowing he would hurt her if her temper got out of hand, but to her she had a reason, she had been kidnapped, and now he planned to kill the only person who cared for her, and saved her, she was angry and sad, but she would show neither.

(Just to clarify, Michael only has her for her body, if I read that right earlier?)

(Sorry for a shorter post. Am Tired.)

Nathan scowled. "I hate your kind, you vampires. You feast on humans, something I don't tolerate. Half my men, when I was in the army, died to vampire attacks. The other half became vampires themselves, I'm the only member of the thirty-fourth regiment." He said scowling at her. "Michael's to blame for killing my best friends...so in turn, I'm going to avenge them by killing them...I won't kill you, but given you try to escape and I won't hesitate to whip you until you beg for mercy...no hard feelings." He said as he sneered at her.

(Yes, all in all he only wanted her for her body as well as skill in singing and dancing, other than that he saw something unique and pretty and wanted it, so he took it.)

She was angry with what had said shaking her head, "Fine, take it out on my master, but to say I am a part of it is an insult and wrong, I have never and do not plan on killing anyone, as for feeding we have to eat some how, and vampires do not change people from just feeding and the bite, I remember, and it is not as bad as humans, they grow then kill animals for food, they kill and rape their own kind, in great numbers even. And when someone needs help they turn a blind eye as though it had never happened." She snapped back at him, her eyes watering a little as she remembered that night just three days ago. "I would have preferred if my master had killed those men, but instead he saved those monsters, so humans are no better than us, if not worse in many ways." She said defensively.

"You think what you want about your master and whatever you want about us humans...I'm not saying all vampires are horrible, I just take out the ones who have too much power and abuse it." He said as he glared at her. Removing the bandages on his left arm, his arm was scarred, torn even...lots of fang marks everywhere on the pale, yet alive skin. "This arm...you could say...is not even human. This is the arm of someone who's built up an immunity to vampire blood...so that the host cannot turn into a vampire when injected with a vampire's blood...I'd tell you the story behind it, but I doubt it'd change your mind about anything. This arm is a reminder to me of three years ago when I saw my friends die before my very eyes to Michael and his little band of misfit hell spawns."

Hearing him she shook her head, "Then you might as well kill most if not all vampires, they get stronger with time, even though some do not abuse it I have met a few who have." She said calmly as she looked up at his arm, finding herself staring at it, and had she not been so angry with him she might have felt sorry for him, "I will not change my mind about humans or vampires, most are monsters, each has their pros and cons, both equally as evil, but not all of them are. You on the other hand looked like you ran into a very bad group and your arm got torn up, I am sorry for what he did to you and your group, but taking my master from me makes you no better than him." She said, noticing she was not saying the word lover, it was what her master wanted her to be, but from her uniqueness she was able to resist the natural bond an control he had, and so he asked her to be his lover willingly or he would hurt her till she complied, not that she told Nathan that, so she had accepted the role, despite how much she wanted to just run away and live on her own or find someone who loved all of her, not just her body. Looking at Nathan she nodded her head, "I do not like his other servants, they are cruel, and he even threatened that if I misbehave I would be given to them to be played with, and that alone frightened me, I wanted to stay as far from them as I could." She explained, giving a little more than she thought she had in her small explanation.
