Love Is Often Unexpected [Xx.MoonlightRomance.xX & Jugger82]

Nathan sighed and moved over to her, laying behind her with his arms over her body. "I am getting soft...pity and yearning really gets to me." He said as he laid there with her under his arm that draped over her. "Get some sleep, alright?" He said as he patted her on the head before putting his arm back over her body.

When he moved over and laid behind her she didn't move away from him, but she didn't relax in his arms and allow her back to rest up against his chest, like she would have done earlier in the evening. "Like I said before, it proves that some part of you is human." She said with a shrug. "I'll try." Liz said, still remaining a ball of tension as he patted her head and put his arm back over her body to keep her warm.

It did not take Nathan to fall asleep finally as he held her close. During the night, he moved so he was up to her, her back to his chest with his arm over her, his chin above her head as they lay together.

Where it did not take him long to fall asleep it took her around an hour to do so and by that time he had moved so he was up against her and she had started to relax some as she stared at the fire. Liz had even taken her father's silver cross off and stuck in in her pocket as he had requested.

In the morning, Nathan awoke slowly as he looked to see how close he was to Liz. Yawning, he got up and stretched. He didn't want to wake the girl up yet, she needed some rest after all that went on yesterday. He'd give her another fifteen minutes or so.

When morning came, Liz was just as close to him as she had been before she had fallen asleep last night, but instead of facing the fire like she had been at some point in the night she had turned so that she was facing Nathan. Then, when he awoke she was a bit hard to move, but she remained sound asleep with a small smile on her face as she slept.

After some time had passed, he moved over to her and began to shake her to awaken her from her sleep. "Hey, its time to wake up. Get up human." He said as he continued to shake her, trying to get her awake. "We need to go, cmon."

When he finally did move over to her and started to shake her, it didn't take much to wake her. The small smile that had been on her face did fade when she awoke, though. "I'm up, and I have a name." She said, pulling away from him once she was sure she wasn't going to fall over. She stood from where she was sitting and took the cross out of her pocket, putting it back around her neck. "By the way, you didn't have to keep me warm last night, but thank you."

Nathan looked away from her. "Yeah...whatever..." He muttered. Getting up, he began to kick some dirt into the chars that were once their fire. He then turned to her. "Cmon, lets go." He said as he began to walk off toward the next town...his heart beating slightly faster.

She watched him as he kicked dirt into their fire and when he turned to her, telling her he was ready to go she followed behind him, but kept a bit of disdance between them. Of course, she didn't know what his heart was beating a bit father than normal.

Walking along, her turned to look at her every now and then, unsure as to why he was. He couldn't tell why he took such a sudden interest in her, but he continued on without saying anything or stopping for her. After a while, he finally spoke. "We'll be there in a while....lets hope they have an inn."

When he would turn and look back at her, Liz would lift her eyes from looking down at the ground as she walked and meet his gaze, but she wouldn't say anything to him and as soon as he looked away her gaze returned to the ground. "One can hope." She said, not really wanting to have to sleep on the ground again.

Nathan sighed as he stopped, turning to her. "What have you done to me..." He said as he walked over to her to close the distance. "You've done something to me...I have these weird...emotions...feelings...why do I find you suddenly interesting...!?"

"I didn't do a damn thing to you." Liz said, raising her eyes once more to meet his as he stopped and looked back to her. She didn't lower her eyes again when he saw him walking over to close the distance between them. "You think I don't have these weird emotions and feelings for you? Before yesterday I thought I'd be glad to have you dead, but last night when you give me the chance to kill you, I simply allow my weapon to be melted.." She said, making it clear that she had the same emotions.

Moving over, he grabbed her upper arms and pulled her close, looking her in the eyes before he placed his lips onto hers with deep passion, not knowing why he was doing this.

When he first took a hold of her upper arms she tried to get loose of his grip, but soon found it too powerful for her to fight. When their gazes met, though, any struggling stopped. Then, finally when he kissed her with deep passion she couldn't help but to close her eyes and let herself enjoy the kiss; this had been something she had found herself wanting to do the night before. Then, as the two of them kissed she found her hands reaching up and finally resting on either sides of his face.

She continued to kiss Nathan as well and as his hands wrapped around her she wrapped her arms around his neck, looking up at him as he pulled her close. "I'd love to know the same thing." Roxanne said, clearly feeling the same way for him as he did for her; but as confused as to why she felt these emotions for him. Then, where she had refused to relax in his arms last night as soon as his arms wrapped around her Roxy seemed to melt in his arms, feeling safe as he wrapped his arms around her.

(lol not Roxanne.)

Nathan just looked at her dearly, not knowing why he was doing as he was. "Elizabeth..." He muttered quietly to her as he smiled gently to her.

(Sorry for a short post.)
