"Yes, sir....Ryan." She smiled. "Thank you." It wasn't every day you came across a Master that let you use his name. She looked down at their joined hands as he took her back downstairs and into the kitchen, ordering her to make them lunch. She had no idea what he liked, so she went around the kitchen to see what he had, hoping he would approve of whatever she made.
Setting aside some fresh vegetables, she began to chop them into approximately 1x1 inch pieces. There was beef in the fridge and she took the lean cuts, slicing them into small chunks. Looking around the kitchen, she pulled out a large pot. Putting it on low heat, she dumped in onion and garlic. Once they had become clear, she added six cups of water and five beef bouillon cubes, along with two cups red wine and herbs and turned it to medium heat. Once it began to boil, she put in potato, carrot, and pumpkin, allowing them to cook. After fifteen minutes, she lowered the beef chunks in to cook while the stew simmered on low heat, putting the lid over top.
On a smaller pot next to the stew, she put on some water to boil, adding rice once it got up to temperature. Leaving the rice to cook, Natasha looked around the kitchen once more. Pulling out a head of lettuce, a cucumber, and a carrot, she began to make her own home made salad. Once the salad was done, she began to arrange items on the table. Salad and dressing, their bowls and plates, along with silverware they would be using, and some glasses, both regular and wine, not knowing what he would prefer to have with his meal. She set out a selection of beer, wine, water, and soft drinks.
Shortly after, the rice had finished, her stirring every few minutes to keep it from sticking and burning to the bottom of the pot. She checked on the stew and was satisfied with its taste, moving it to the table onto a heat resistant pad. She put rice in the bottom of their bowls, ladling the stew over top. On small plates next to the bowls, she scooped each of them a serving of salad. Not knowing what kind of dressing he preferred, she left them undressed.
