Yoki shinai rūmumeito (Vicodin + Sibylle)

Alexis woke up late. The sleeping on the mattress was so comfortable when she woke up, the time in front of her said 10:25 AM. She frowned deeply as she turned over, "Fuuuuuck." She sat up lazily, her hair messed up and sticking up. "Mm.." She frowned, throwing the sheets off of herself as she let the morning air hit her full force. Cold. She let out a small huff, dropping to her feet as she wobbled out of the room and walked out into the living room. She looked around, remembering that Steven had left for work. She coughed a little bit, letting out a small huff again of crankiness that she had forgotten to turn on SOME type of alarm to wake her up. She plopped herself onto the couch as she felt a small bottle smack against her naked thigh. She jumped as she rolled a little bit on the couch and gazed down at the bottle. The hell..? She cocked a brow as she took the bottle into her hands and lifted it as she gazed at it quietly. She cocked a brow. Vicodin..? She frowned. Don't tell me he's a junkie. So adorable Steve was to her so when she found this bottle, squeaky clean was the last two words she thought of him. She stood up, fully awake as she held the bottle and decided to just get ready. She didn't know how to bring this up to him. It almost made her nervous.

Junkie was one way to put it, but in a tremendous amount of pain was the other explanation for that unprescribed Vicodin. Steven worked hour and day, separating the viruses from computers that people had contracted. It was like he was a computer doctor, separating the STDs of the internet from his computer patients. And of course, he noticed that around half of the computers that he checked, the viruses came from porn sites. He knew a few sites that did not have any viruses, and he knew a lot of antivirus programs that could prevent things like this, but how was he supposed to get more money if he kept patching the problem forever? Now if he patched it once, and waited for the come back, that is where the money lies. Same with prescriptions. Steven didn't think so, but he was addicted. His body was craving it, the feeling of relieving pain and not feeling anything in his body, from his head to his toes. His body craved that feeling, that emptiness. But he would never admit it, he would just say that the pills help his headaches. And they do. He does have headaches, and Vicodin can remove them, but to what extent? What if he were to detox? That would be a fun few months.

Alexis kept the bottle to herself. She didn't really know how to freaking confront him or she should let it be. Should she casual? That seemed like a good tatic. She walked back inside of his room, lowering the bottle onto the nightstand as she rubbed her eyes, "Mm.." She sighed, looking around as she decided to just shower and do what she had to do. She didn't have work so she wasn't too stressed out. She got up, looking for her towel before snatching it from her pile of clothes and moving to the shower.

Steven came home in 7 hours, opening the door to see Alexis still in the house. He almost forgot that he had lent out his room to this girl. He had the worst headache ever... today. So as he walked over to the couch, he noticed that he didn't have his Vicodin bottle there. Oh shit... She probably knew! He didn't even think about hiding his bottle of Vicodin, since he had a new roommate. That would be the best idea. She could get him arrested, for him not having a prescription. But he could lie and say that he did. "Alexis?" He asked, looking around the living room.

Alexis was laying on the bed in his room, reading her text books thoroughly. When she heard her name being called, she perked up and sat up on the bed. Oh god. She looked at the pills on the nightstand before moving off of the bed. She opened the door and poked her head out, "Hey.."

Steven wasn't really sure how he was going to ask this. He looked to the left, seeing that the couch was cleaner, along with the table that was nearby the couch, that held the remote. "It looks like you cleaned up the place a little bit. Thank you." He said, before he set down his laptop case. He sighed, figuring he just had to come out with it. "Have you seen a... bottle of Vicodin?" He asked, staring into her eyes. "I have a horrible headache... and I need one to make it go away..."

"Yeah, I have 'em." She said lightly, pushing the door open. "On the nightstand." She walked back inside the room. Well, this was awkward. She wasn't going to be all weird around him. Was she? She sat down on the bed, "So, um, you use it all the time?"

He took the bottle of pills and he opened the bottle, before popping one pill into his mouth and swallowing, despite the disgusting taste that came with Vicodin. He popped pills so many times, that he didn't need a liquid anymore. "Only when I have a headache. Once, twice a day." He replied, before placing the bottle in his pocket. "My apologies if I made you nervous. I think we should go out to dinner, make up for this little mishap." he said, smiling. "Just let me shower, and we can go out."

"Dinner, huh?" She said with a small smile before nodding, "Sure why not? Sounds fun plus as roommates, we should get to know each other more." She said with a small grin, "I'll just dress up."

Steven nodded. Indeed. He did want to get to know her better. Know what she liked, whether she was dating anyone or not (she probably wasn't), and whether he would be able to get her into bed. Or against a counter... or in the shower. Anything really. She was so cute... sexy... All of those words. He walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower.

Alexis stripped while he was in the shower, so that she wasn't caught in the nude after he was done. She had decided to go for her dress that she hadn't worn since her first date since she started college. In way, it depressed her the lack of sex she had been getting. Due to stress and lack of a home, she couldn't get any man to let her sleep in their homes or dorms, complaining that their roommate would interrupt. Like she didn't have roommates that would do very much the same? Such lame men. She stripped off her previous clothing, leaving herself in the undergarments she had been wearing. She looked at herself in the mirror, her eyes skimming her body before taking off her bras. She tossed it onto his bed, walking over to her pile of clothes as she took a strapless bra from the pile. She moved her body as she placed the bra on herself, grinning as she gazed at her breasts. Damn, still got the flaunt. She walked over to her dress and slipped it over head. The black and white dress fit her curved body perfectly, hoisting her breasts more. She sucked in, cheating as she zipped up the dress before letting a tiny bit of air escaped. Good, still fit. She brushed her dress black and white dress with pride, taking her hair out of the messy ponytail before adjusting her glasses. "Mm.."

Steven decided to dress in something a little more casual, but he wasn't sure if he should be dressing in the brown pants that complemented his skin tone, the black jeans that he loved to wear, or the blue jeans, that would show that he is a little more colorful then usual. He decided to go for the blue jeans and a white t shirt, just to be a little less dark. He adjusted his hair so that it didn't look like he fell out of bed, and he popped one Vicodin, to make sure that he didn't get a headache while he was out on this dinner with her. It was funny, how the both of them were trying so hard to look good for each other, when Alexis' lack of sex and Steven's low self esteem was thrown into the picture, there would be an easy lay. If the both of them knew that. But alas, cat and mouse begins. Steven walked out of the room and walked out the door, walking to his car and opening the passenger door for her, and his own door. He had cleaned out the car as well, when he knew that Alexis was coming, because he had foreshadowed this. Wherever she wanted to eat, he would. When she got into the car, he would ask that very question. "Where would you like to go?" He asked, smiling as he looked at her, in the driver's seat.

It was so interesting to see how they were dressed. It was like they were going on this non-existent date that they've been planning. She shrugged softly, "Got a place you want to go?" She asked, "I don't a burger joint is quiet enough to even talk in." She said with a light laugh before stretching a little bit and relaxing in the seat.

Whenever the woman did not know where she wanted to go, it was automatically picked in Steven's mind. He smiled, doing a U turn and then taking a right. He stopped at this Italian restaurant, one that looked to be very nice, but not on the extremely fancy side. He parked the car in the driveway and then looked to his pocket, shoving a hand inside of his pants so that he could feel how many bills he had. He had enough twenties for the dinner, good. He didn't want her to pay. Just like a date. He walked inside and the waiter brought them to a table, before he sat down. He took a pen out of his pocket and he started to scribble down a few numbers. He would wait for her to ask about the financial issues. It would be rude if he were to.

Alexis followed him before sitting down at the table. She crossed her legs slowly, tapping her fingers against the table before stopping herself since it was annoying herself. She watched him scribbling something down and she wanted to be nosy and see what it was. But luckily, she resisted the urge to do so.

In order to break the somewhat awkward silence, the waiter came by and asked what they wanted to drink. Steven looked at the selection of wines, before changing his mind and asking for the flavored teas that they had. The restaurant had a mango flavored tea, which was his favorite drink in the world. Besides the fluids that come out of a woman of course. He looked to Alexis, and then when the waiter walked away with Alexis' drink order, he said. "How much do you make a month? Not to be rude..."

She blinked, lifting her head to gaze at him as she cocked a brow for the moment before sighing, "Well, depends on how much I work. Sometimes they give newbies more of the time and I get about...300?" She said, looking up for the moment, "Yeah, 300. And then when I work more, I can average around 300 to 600 plus tips." She said with a nod.

Steven nodded his head, writing down the number on the piece of paper that he had. He was sure that this could work, since this two bedroom happened to cost 900 dollars. A split of the rent could do nicely... He got this house on a really good deal. If he lost this house, he would go crazy. "The both of us could split the rent... which is 450 dollars. Including all utilities and everything." He said. "Is there anything that I need to know about you? Other then the fact that I am so lucky to have a beautiful woman like you as my roommate?"

Alexis found herself smiling slowly as she tilted her head to the side as she said softly, "I'm a good cook. I tend to stay up for two days if I have nothing to do other than sleep and I love pies. Cherry pies, to be specific." She smiled at him as she lightly ran her fingers over the table slowly.

"What a coincidence. I love cherry pie as well." He said, although he had a different meaning put to cherry pie in his head. He was going to have a beautiful cook as a roommate? Why didn't she come sooner? Oh he was so damn lucky! Steven burnt water. He was never able to cook right, that was why he always had easy to make food in his house. The two of them could go grocery shopping later and collect what she needed to cook an excellent meal.

Alexis gazed at him quietly, tilting her head a bit to the side as she said softly, "Steven. I was wondering if you have any medical troubles that I have to worry about in case of emergency?" She prompted. She was curious about the vicodin. And she didn't know any other way of asking him except to ask him straight through. "Right?' She asked quietly, tilting her head as slid her fingers against the glass as she felt the bit of the water drops against her fingers.

He was prepared for that question, but he did not really want to answer it. He ran his hands through his hair and he sighed, thinking about the pill case in his pocket. "I just have headaches... Nothing special." He said, taking a drink of the soda that he had ordered. "The headaches are kind of bad... I mean... When I am out in the sun, or if there are lights beaming down on me, I can't really handle that. So I have these painkillers to make sure that I can focus and relax." He replied. He smiled before he took another drink. "Are there any problems with boyfriends or family that I need to know about?"

"Ex-boyfriend, to be exact." She said with a small smile. "His name is Liam. He and I are not on good terms. We tend to get into it whenever he finds me. He decked me pretty good the last time he found me." She lifted her hand to rub her cheek softly, "It's been five months, but that's when he sometimes comes storming in to my work and sits at a table to pretend he's there for coffee when he is really there to wait for me to get off work." She let out a small sigh. "It's...bothersome really."

Steven had paid attention to her whole story, until he heard that he had hit her once. His pupils focused on her cheek, where she had rubbed with her hand. His fists clenched on the drink that was in his hand, and he let out a small laugh. This laugh seemed a little... odd then the last few laughs that he had. It seemed like he had something in mind, something cooking within that little weird mind of his. "I see... Well I am sure that I can change that problem." He of course wouldn't be the only one to change the problem. He needed a little help. "Other then hitting you once, has there been anything else that he has done? Anything that I should have him apologize for?"

"Heh, don't bother. He's not going to apologize. He's going to blame me for ending it." She shrugged, "Doesn't matter. I just keep forgetting to put a restraining order on the loser." Her eyes seemed blank when she was mentioning the small part, as if she was trying to get through that part of the story quickly. She turned her gaze back to him, "So, any crazy exes yourself? Or are you lucky?"
