Elie nodded as she laid her head on his chest, "Do you think he died?" She asked as she laid close to him. Her hand grippin at his chest tightly. She was starting to tremble again.
She nodded as she closed her eyes. "My uncle is ruthless. He is the one that kills without care. I am sure he heard you were there and just came to kill you. I do not know what to do now."
She nodded, "Yes. I understand." She went silent as she heard footsteps getting close. She pressed her body to his as she got scared. Her grip tightened on his shirt.
The footsteps stopped just outside, but then continued on their way a few moments later. They faded off and Elie let out the breath she was holding in. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep.
Elie nodded as she climbed out and told him the directions in a whisper. She looked around outside the burrow, she looked in the direction of her home, worried her for father.
Elie held tight to him as she buried her face in his shoulder. She was still very worried about things to come. Her uncle was now incharge, which meant a war was to come.
