RE: The Cat's Meow Brothel *delicious plot and yummy smut*
Within a few minutes of calling for help on Eli's radio, some of his people ran out, including the man Lizzy had spoken with earlier. "Get him inside," he told them, then turned his gun on Lizzy, seeing the other dead guard on the ground. "Hands on your head," he told her, apparently thinking she had done this. "Hurry," he called to the others. "Get him on a table and call for help. We need a doctor ASAP!" His gaze had never left the brunette as his eyes narrowed. "You too. Inside."
"Call an ambulance," a voice cried out as the door to the brothel burst open. As they got Eli inside and on a table, one of the guards took out a knife and cut his shirt open so his muscular chest was bare, taking away the obstruction so they could try and dig the bullets out. His body was marked with some other scars, mostly appearing to be cuts, or claw marks even, which struck some as strange. People stepped back, some in shock, some curious, and all surprised at seeing a man they had come to believe was invincible in such a state. What happened next would leave them all even more surprised, however.
Eli's eyes opened, and he began to sit up. Snatching the knife from the one who had just opened his shirt, he began to dig the bullets out of his wounds, letting the bloody clumps of lead fall to the floor as he managed to get them out of his body, clenching his teeth and growling a bit from the pain of the procedure. As the last one was extracted, Eli dropped the blade and took a deep breath, glancing around at people for a moment. He didn't seem to be in a normal state of mind, however, his movements almost feral in nature. Then there was his eyes. Instead of their normal sea green, they were yellow, like those of a wolf, and showed the same animal instincts. Soon, however, he calmed, blinking a few times as his eyes returned to normal, and the wounds on his chest began to close, leaving only blood stained scars behind. "Do NOT call that ambulance," he said in response to the confused stares of many people, his eyes turning on Lizzy. "Let her go. She didn't do it. It was Sykes...and she took him out afterward."
On his word, Eli's people let Lizzy go so she could approach him, his eyes remaining on hers for a moment. "Maybe you're not so paranoid after all..."
