"Punish you? Who, me?" Skye laughed softly, a grin blooming on her lips. "No, I don't think I'd have the heart to do it. I'd probably just let Felice have her way with you if you were too much trouble." Figuring he'd had a taste of her earlier, she knew he'd understand. "Kind....I wish I had been more kind to you, Anthony. You've been all too kind to me, as of yet." His blush was quite apparent now, as her own, and she wondered why. Perhaps he felt the same tension as she did.
She closed her eyes, tuning into his voice again. It gave her a twinge in her chest, but not a bad one. There was a lush quality to the way he spoke that she couldn't quite name. She imagined it like velvet, caressing each word in a manner that made her heart skip a beat. I wish I could hear him...say my name. she thought, not knowing why she wished it. Hesistating for a split second, she placed her hand on his arm, below his shoulder. He doesn't seem to mind.. Skye tried to reassure herself, not wanting to push too far. Her thoughts took the better of her though and she slipped her hand further. Her arm rested in the crook of his, pulling her close to his arm as she rested her head. How he could remain so calm in his reading, she didn't understand, the way her heart was thumping just a little. "Tell me if I bother you, Anthony. This just..feels comfortable." Her voice was but a small whisper. Her lips opened a bit, breathing softly, as her eyes remained shut. She was blissfully unaware of the occasional glances he'd been giving her.
