Let me take care of her (Graceful + RV)

Joann hadn't stayed at his apartment long enough to find out that most of his neighbors were crackheads. Sounded to her like those girls were snobs, just because he doesn't live in a rich neighborhood? They don't deserve my brother. Loud music? Parties.. Christian surprised her. "So they have lots of parties?" A party with loud music sounded like fun. Sure beats sitting on the porch swing at home reading a book. "Don't you want to go to their parties? I'll go with you. Unless you'd be too embarrassed to go with your sister."

Christian laughed softly at her words. "I don't go to their parties, I don't really enjoy their music that much." He said, leaning back in the chair a bit. He wouldn't mind going to a party with her, as long as they would mistake her for being his girlfriend. He grinned at the thought as he noticed their food was almost done. He took a sip of his soda, looking at her and taking in her features. "Why haven't you managed to pick up a guy yet?" He asked her curiously, he was sure she would be hit on a lot by the guys at her school.

"Dad scares most of them away," she told him. "Before I can go out he and mom have to meet them, Mom makes sure I don't wear anything remotely sexy, and while she's doing that, Dad is interrogating my date in the living room and then he shows them his gun collection." She took a sip of her soda. "I think I'm the only girl in my class who doesn't have a boyfriend." There was one guy in school whom their dad didn't scare off, but she wasn't allowed to go out with him because they heard of his reputation. "There is a guy in my school I could be dating, but I'd have to do it behind Mom and Dad's back. They don't like him."

She never noticed before, but Mike looks a little like her brother, except Christian is more handsome, and taller. Mike is only an inch taller than she is.

Christian laughed softly. "That sounds like dad." He had seen the gun collection, most of them were old but there were also some newer ones amongst them. "But mom shouldn't be telling you how to dress, she's too old for that." He added, leaning in over the table with a grin on his face. "Ohh, do tell me about him." He suggested softly. He didn't mind that she had a boyfriend, in fact he would encourage it and if she wanted to, he would certainly talk with their parents about it. He was after all old enough to have a bit of a say in what happened to his sister.
