"Of course Lady Shizune, we can handle bandits easily." He said smiling to her as he continued to walk on. After a while, it was starting to get dark and they'd not reached the camp grounds yet. "Damn...Misato must be fast if he must be there already...hey Shizune, how long until we get to the resting point? It'll be dangerous to travel at night, won't it?"
 
"Yes, once it gets dark it could be dangerous to keep going, though we shouldn't be more than half an hour away by now. If Misato has an ounce of sense he'll have secured a clearing for us. Though...." She glanced back at Ino and Sakura "Be careful for any surprises he might have left around...." Ino and Sakura glanced at each other and frowned, though both also couldn't help glaring at Nathan for a moment, before looking back ahead.
 
Nathan rubbed the back of his head once he got the snake eyes from the girls. He sighed and continued walking on until they came upon a clearing with a tent set up. Misato was inside it, but he was snoozing away and his tent so small that his feet were out of it a bit as he lay inside. "Jeez...how cheap is this guy...um...I'll go sleep in a tree."
 
Sakura and Ino just sweatdropped as they looked at Misato, though Shizune knew better than to let her guard down, just stopping and starting up a campfire. "Alright....but before any of us sleep we should have something to eat" Ino and Sakura set their backpacks down, opening them up to start pulling out some food to cook, Shizune doing the same.
 
Nathan trailed off away from the group, unable to stand being around them because of the cold shoulder they had continuously given him. He sat in a tree and watched as they started to cook, his own stomach rumbling to the scent, whereas Misato still slept like a log. "This is going to be one hell of a trip..." He said sarcastically.
 
Shizune watched Nathan move away, but continued cooking for a little while. Once she was done however, she seemed to silently slip away from the campsite, unnoticed by anyone.

"Here..." Shizune's voice came from beside Nathan, the woman having gotten up beside him silently, now holding some food out to him. "Just give them some time. You can't blame them for being angry with you after that technique you used. I know you were just getting back at Ino for what she did to you, but that's beside the point. Tomorrow morning we're going to forget about everything and start over, alright? For now though....just eat, then come and camp with the rest of us"
 
Nathan looked at Shizune and nodded as he accepted the food from her. "Thanks...And alright, when I'm done I'll be down in a bit...gotta find a nice comfortable branch to sleep in haha." He said smiling to her as he began to eat the food. He turned and looked at the campfire to watch the two girls as he ate and cursed at himself for getting taken by surprise from Ino's plant trick and that he started this whole mess with that one outburst.
 
"You're not sleeping in a branch, you're coming down with the rest of us. If we're going to be a team then we need to start as we mean to go on, not seperate ourselves from the start" Shizune took a bite of her own food, clearly intending to stay up there with him until he came down. "Think of all this as a lesson....especially one in humility and who you should take advice from..." She chuckled, glancing toward Misato's tent. "Just remember, there are some people it's better to listen to than others"
 
Nathan chuckled as he finished downing the food given to him. "Yeah, right haha. I'll keep that in mind Lady Shizune...though, if you want me to come down there...where will I sleep? Surely no one will allow me in their tent and Misato's is too small even for him." He said as he glanced over to Shizune as he laid back against the tree.
 
"I always bring a spare sleeping bag along with me, though I don't have a spare tent I'm afraid so you may have to sleep under the stars" Shizune took another bite of her own food, taking her time rather than simply downing it all at once. "Another lesson learned I suppose hm? Next time perhaps you'll bring a tent along"
 
"The sleeping bag is enough for me Lady Shizune, thank you." He said smiling to her before returning to look at the camp site. "Well...lets head down then, shall we? I think this branch is going to break sooner or later, I heard it creak a while ago while I alone was sitting on it." He said smiling but to his surprise the branch snapped, causing both of them to fall. Nathan reacted immediately and used his own body as a cushion for Shizune as they hit the ground hard.
 
Shizune seemed rather calm as the branch snapped, even taking another bite of her food during the fall, moving her legs swiftly to land easily, moving herself just to Nathan's side to avoid landing on him. "Hm, haven't been on a snapping branch for a little while now, rather fun" She chuckled, standing up and starting to walk back toward the campside, taking a final bite of her food.
 
Nathan, however, seemed to be in a daze as she walked by. "D-Dammit...I did that for nothing..." He said as he sat up, rubbing his aching back. He stood up and walked with a small limp toward the camp site right after Shizune. He appeared in the fire and sat down in an empty spot nowhere near Sakura and Ino. He didn't look at them once as he held his hands out to the fire, trying to keep warm.
 
"Come now, a Jounin is prepared for anything, even the ground to literally fall out from under them. A tree branch isn't so different really" She chuckled, sitting down aswell. Ino and Sakura didn't look at Nathan, but then that wasn't an entirely bad sign was it? At least they were no longer giving him a cold, evil stare.
 
Nathan looked over to Shizune. "Hey...can I get that sleeping bag now Lady Shizune? I want to head in...I'm gonna sleep so I can be up early tomorrow." He said as he returned to warming himself up near the fire. He wondered what tomorrow would bring them. They were to protect a fortress from bandits, that wasn't much, but all the while they still had to be vigilant.
 
"Of course" Shizune nodded and opened her bag, pulling out what looked like a small summoning scroll. She unrolled it a little, then performed a few hand signs. A few moments later, with a puff of smoke two sleeping bags appeared. "I think you all need to learn the real meaning of travelling light. Perhaps when we get back to the village we can work on some basic seals and summoning jutsu's so you don't have to carry such heavy bags in future"
 
Nathan nodded. "Alright then, whatever you say Lady Shizune." He took the sleeping bag. "Thank you again." He smiled to her before walking off over to where the underbrush was, away from the tents. He laid out the sleeping bag and crawled inside, trying to sleep. He couldn't however, as too much was going through his mind. Guilt, pleasure, worry, excitement, and fear...so much thoughts going through it.
 
Before long Sakura and Ino were also pulling out their sleeping bags from their bags, the two girls having brought a large tent to share, setting it up quickly and crawling inside.
Shizune sighed slightly and shook her head, then summoned up her own single tent from her scroll, going inside in order to get some sleep until morning.
 
About an hour later...

Nathan awoke to the feel of poking on his face. Upon opening them, he saw Misato with a mischievious smile on his face. "Hey...wanna see if the girls are gossiping?" Nathan just yawned and crawled into the bag some more. "Act your age Misato..." Nathan mumbled. Misato shook his head and lifted up the sleeping bag, causing Nathan to slide out and onto the floor. "Okay okay!" He said as he rose to his feet in a daze. "Fine...we listen for five minutes then I go to bed...okay?" Misato nodded as he and Nathan went over to eavesdrop on Sakura and Ino's tent to see if they were still awake, hopefully saying something.
 
The girls were indeed still awake, though most of their gossip seemed to be random nonsense about other girls, who liked who and what crazy diet or fad some of the other girls were into at the moment. For almost the entire 5 minutes they seemed to be saying nothing that would be of any interest to a man, until finally Sakura spoke up. "So what do you think of those two anyway....?" "Nathan and Misato? They're both perverts, especially Misato...." "Yeah....geez...I still can't believe that technique he used..." "I know, it was practically rape if you think about it" "Then again it was partly your fault Ino, doing that with those stupid plants" "Yeah well....they were all asking for it, making me look like an idiot like that" Sakura couldn't help but giggle "Well I guess when you wanna get revenge you know how to do it" "I'll say....they're just lucky I couldn't find any of this one particular kind of herb.....would've turned them both into girls for 12 hours if they'd eaten any of it" "Oh man, that would've been hilarious"
 
Misato chuckled as he looked to Nathan. "They didn't get me. Heh, good job squirt you got tricked apparently." "It worked out in the end, I managed to get both of em at the same time." Misato whistled, but it was loud for a purpose so the girls would hear. He pushed down Nathan and dissappeared in a quick puff of smoke to make it seem Nathan was a peeping tom.
 
At the sound of the noise both girls immediately stopped talking, moving to open up the tent, setting eyes on Nathan immediately, both girls frowning. "Were you spying on us?" "Trying to get a glimpse of us naked I bet" The girls glared, though Ino glanced to the side and spotted the tracks Misato had left behind. "......Somehow Sakura....I get the feeling he was duped by a superior pervert and left as a scapegoat..."
 
Nathan hopped up and nodded. "Y-Yeah thats it exactly! I wasn't eavesdropping I swear, I caught Misato doing it!" Though that was a lie, he went ahead WITH Misato to join in on the eavesdropping. "S-So uh...I think I'll just head back to my tent now haha..." He said smiling a bit, though behind the girls, Misato began to do the Mind Transfer Jutsu on Ino, which was ironic because it was one of her specialties. "You will have sexual relations with the boy and bring in Sakura if she wishes it." He said to her, hoping that he had done it right.
 
"Hmph, if you caught him then you'd be behind him, but his tracks are behind you" Sakura folded her arms and glared at Nathan, not noticing as Ino reached up to rub her head, though quickly shook it. Her own training had given her a somewhat strong resistance to a mind control Jutsu, though she was too tired at the moment to really identify it, though at least awake enough to resist Misato's initial command, perhaps because it was so against her own will.
 
Misato cursed thinking he didn't do it right. Seeing as how there was no point on trying it on Sakura, he stayed hidden in the underbrush. "So...uh...while I was forced by Misato into being here...I kind heard you two talking about us...I'm not a pervert...its your fault cause the stupid herbs you had made me horny."
