"I missed mother nature last week. I'm pregnant." She opened her eyes to look up at her husband. She gave a weak smile.
 
Ryan walked up to her, "Are you sure?" She nodded. "OK... Well, I guess I'll have to call and make a doctor's appointment. Do you need some help?"
 
Taylor nodded. "Okay," she said. She was slowly recovering from puking, but she knew that wouldn't be it. She slowly pushed herself up to her feet and shook her head, but then wrapped her arms around Ryan's arm. She leaned against him, regaining herself.
 
Taylor smiled, following after Ryan. She laid back down on the bed shakily. She reached up and gently grabbed his hand. "I love you, too," she said gently, quietly. It was the first time
she'd said it to him.
 
Ryan smiled, and gave her a light kiss on the cheek. He headed downstairs he did his chores outside and called to make a doctor's appointment. A short time later he walked back into the room, "Hey, babe... How you doing?"
 
Taylor dozed lightly during the time he was gone, her hands resting on her stomach. She woke up when she heard him return. She gave a gentle smile. "A little queasy, but a lot better," she said. She shifted, and reached out her hand for him. "I can't believe all this has happened," she said.

Ryan smiled as he took her hand, "That's good... I called the doctor and we have an appointment at noon. Would you like anything to eat?"
 
Taylor shook her head gently. She didn't want to throw up again. "I'll try and eat later," she said. "Can I have some water, though?" She had a disgusting taste in her mouth.
 
Ryan smiled, "You've got it..." He went to the bathroom and got his wife a glass of water. He handed it to her and looked at her... "I can't believe we are going to be parents... I hope we have a little girl... just like you..."
 
Taylor waited as he went into the bathroom. When he brought her a glass of water, she took it, sipping it gratefully. The water disturbed her stomach ever so slightly, but she ignored it. She set the glass down on the nightstand, and looked up at her husband. "I know," she said. She reached out her hand. "Come, sit," she said. She laid down on the bed on her back, with her hand resting on her stomach.
 
Ryan smiled and sat next to her and held her hand, "I'm so glad you deiced to stay with me... We are going to have such a beautiful family..." He kissed her hand
 
Taylor smiled, shutting her eyes. She felt his gentle lips on her hand. "I never thought i'd have a family of my own," she said. "I always had figured I'd grow up an old hag and die in my office with my work."
 
Taylor smiled and shut her eyes. She felt like just curling up and sleeping. She reached over and picked up the glass of water before pushing herself gently up with her other hand. She took bigger swallows, feeling better. She set the empty glass on the nightstand and laid down. She rolled over and wrapped an arm across Ryan. She shut her eyes. "I'll just sleep awhile," she murmured before drifting off.
 
"OK..." said Ryan. He kissed her on forehead and went down stairs to do some chores before going to the doctors office. A few hours later Ryan and Taylor were sitting in the doctor's office waiting for the doctor, "I'm so nervous..."
 
Taylor woke up shortly before they went to the doctor's office. Once there, Taylor looked around. It was the first time she'd been away from the house since he'd taken her. When he said he was nervous, she looked over at him. "Why?" she asked. "You're not the one having the kid."
