Nathan- Hm...? Oh...Emilie. No, its fine. I think that before the day is long over with we'll be having more bloodshed...please, be ready for when the time comes to protect yourself.

He pulled out of his pocket the sword and handed it to her.
 
She looked at the metal blade and for a long time didn't say anything to him. She knew that she would need to defend herself for now, herself not really being welcomed here. Looking to him again she nodded before she asked him, "Will our life always be like this?" It was a simple question but one that had to be answered.
 
Nathan looked away from her. He couldn't answer that question because he didn't know the answer. He sighed before standing up.

Nathan- Get some rest. We'll keep watch for the night.
 
Seeing his reaction she lowered her face knowing that the question was not for this time. Looking away from him she moved from his body heading over to the softer grass to catch up on some sleep. She let her eyes move to him again before looking to the space next to her. "My dear will you come and lay with me until I fall asleep?"
 
Nathan looked at her and smiled knowing it was the least he could do. He trusted Darian to watch over them. He moved over to Emilie and laid down beside her, wrapping an arm under her as he wrapped her close to him.

Nathan- You know...you don't have to keep saying "dear". You can say my name if you want.
 
Looking to him she nods at him resting her head closer to his body so she could feel his warmth. "I guess I'm still nervous to call you Nathan,"She smiled to him her fingers running circles on his chest glad that he was with her. "I'll call you that now that I know it's okay," she smiled moving to give him a kiss.
 
Nathan smiled and kissed her back but frowned mentally. Had he really given off such an aura that the one he loved was intimidated to even call him his own name? He shrugged the feeling off and looked at the stars in the sky.

Nathan- Florensia...they say the stars here are all part of the Milky Way Galaxy.
 
Looking to where he was she smiled at the fact he had given her, she could for a moment imagine she was home looking up at her stars again. Only this time she had a man that she could love and trust by her side, rather than arrogance that she was often surrounded by. "I love you Nathan," she stated calmly her words filling the air having been the first time she said it to him.
 
Nathan's eyes widened a bit upon hearing the words. He looked at her in awe as he looked into her beautiful eyes. He leaned over and pressed his lips against hers into a deep, long kiss.
 
She looked into his eyes for a long moment not saying much before she too returned his kiss. Her lips never parting from his while she held her loves neck in her hand softly. Savoring the moment that they were able to share even in this situation.
 
Off in the distance Darian smiled seeing his lord happy. He looked to the sky and smiled reflecting on his past and childhood with Nathan and how Nathan was never really the loving-type. Seeing it was late, Darian crawled down and stayed against a tree as he slept, but he kept a keen ear out.

Nathan smiled and he parted from the kiss.

Nathan- I love you too.
 
Emilie smiled at his words never expecting him to say it only show it through his actions. She held him tightly to her before resting her head on the soft grass. Her mind drifting away to sleep like her future husband had wanted. Hoping that tomorrow luck would be on their side for once.
 
In the morning...

Nathan had slipped away from Emilie when he awoke. He and Darian made a small camp-ground and made make-shift tents seeing how they were far from civilization in the middle of the woods. It wouldn't be easy to find them there so they decided to have this as their official living area for the time being.

Darian- So whats the next plan of action my lord?
 
She lay happily in the soft grass her body warmed by him before he had left. She let her dreams take her to peaceful place the thoughts of her love within her dream. Waking up she stretches her body, her back arching while she looked to the men working. "Good morning," she said softly moving over to the men looking around the camp.
 
Nathan looked over and smiled at Emilie's presence.

Nathan- G'morning my love. Take a seat and rest, or maybe in the tents maybe? There's three only large enough for one person. Sorry we couldn't make one large enough for the two off us but with little resources we had, we couldn't tie all the leaves together without them eventually falling out of place.
 
She smiled looking over the tents that they made she tested them with her fingers before smiling to them both. "I think their lovely," she turned her face to look at her love giving him a kiss before looking to the ground. "Nathan is it okay if maybe I made breakfast for you two instead?" She asked him with smiling eyes.
 
Nathan and Darian looked at eachother quizzically before Nathan looked at her and nodded.

Nathan- Important thing though...don't get any berries you find on Florensia. Each has its own effect and they're all...horrible, not lethal...but horrible.
 
She smiled at him while she turned to look at what she had to work with for food. Seeing a small stream she heads over to it, looking for a stick to stab at the fish hoping that they would like it. "I'll have breakfast done within the hour," she warned them looking to both men.
 
Nathan and Darian nodded. Darian stood up and climbed a tree for watch and to try and contact the other pods.

Nathan- Don't hurt yourself Emilie. Fish here are huge, bigger than Earth's I hear.

He walked over and sat by the stream so he could supervise her.
 
"I'll be fine, I fish all the time," she stated rolling up her bottom clothes before stepping into the stream. Her body staying still while she waited for a fish to come by. Her eyes growing large at the size of the fish that pasted her. "I think I'm going to need a bigger stick," she stated before driving hers down spearing the fish as it struggled against the pole. Her body jerking from side to side to keep it in track.
 
Nathan smiled and watched the amusing event before him. Watching the girl he married fish was somewhat funny, especially since she was having a bit of trouble.

Nathan- Hey, you want my help?
 
Glaring up at him she shook her head before putting on a fake smile. "I wouldn't want you to move," she stated with sarcasm before slowly starting to drag her catch towards the shore. Her fingers gripping tightly to the stick she was holding her muscles showing while she tried to pull the fish in. Her breathing getting a little harder while she neared the edge before slipping near the edge.
 
Nathan watched and laughed at the scene. She fell into the river but the current wasn't strong nor was the river deep. He got up and walked in, some of the blood in his clothes starting to wash off as he stayed in. He held his hand out to her for her to take.
 
Looking up at him with embarrassment she smiled at his hand before taking it. Rising from the water she moved the fish with a grunting sound to the rivers edge, her hands clapping together while she shook her head at it. "That'll be good right?" She hoped looking to Nathan with a smile, her hand moving back to his so she could feel his warmth and security.
 
Nathan turned to her and nodded.

Nathan- This'll be good for the whole day. Darian hardly eats so we're good.

He grabbed the large fish by the tail and lifted it with one hand. He slung it behind his back and held it.

Nathan- Ready to go?
