Who knows?
First and foremost: hey and thank you for reading this!

════ ⋆★⋆ ════
Before we get right down to the more interesting stuff, I should probably tell you something about myself: my real name is irrelevant, so feel free to call me either S, my username, or any derivitive of it that you want to use. I am a few decades older than twenty-one, I like to think I'm easygoing, patient and pretty damn impossible to offend (you have to try extremely hard if you want to piss me off in any way.) I have been RPing for over twenty years (and I'm a solo indie game dev), so it should go without saying that I enjoy writing. I like worldbuilding, plot twists, character development and long RPs. My posts are four+ paragraphs in length and I don't have an upper word count limit. My response time is at least one post (per RP I'm involved in) per day/night.
The (Probably) Boring Stuff

════ ⋆★⋆ ════

★ I'm really not much of a "planner." I've got absolutely no problem with (and understand the necessity of) discussing and outlining plots, bouncing ideas off one anothers' heads, asking questions, offering suggestions and things of that nature. However, I prefer everything else to happen naturally and within the RP thread.

★ OOC communication is welcome.

★ I am entirely unbothered by what you identify as OOC, which means anyone is welcome to contact me.

★ I would prefer forum threads, but I'll consider PMs, if your ideas interest me enough and you don't like threads.

I do not and will not use Discord, social media, or any messenger. Do not try to ask me to.

★ If you're RPing with me, don't rely on AI to generate your response. (I hate reading text that has been generated by AI and there are ways to tell at a glance.)

★ OOC things should be clearly seperate from IC matters; I am not my character, nor are you your character.

★ Seriously, you don't need to worry about your writing mistakes! They happen to everyone and unless you type like a complete jackass, I won't say anything about them!

★ I play female main characters, but I can and will play any NPC as needed.

★ I don't really do "good" when it comes to my main characters; heroines just ain't my thing. Using D&D terms here for a minute, the closest I'll get is Chaotic Good. I prefer to play flawed characters that are on the questionable, roguish, morally ambiguous or bankrupt, or downright villainous side.

★ If you message me, please say more than "Hey" or "Let's RP!" You damn sure don't need to write a book, but at least give me something to respond to? :3

★ Real life comes first, so I understand if it takes you a little while to respond to something. I will try to message my RP partners if it's going to take me longer than a day to get a post up. (I say "try" here, because I get tornadoes and other fucked-up weather where I live, so if the internet goes down or power goes out because of it, I'll only be able to say something after the fact.) You do not have to tell me why (and I won't pry, either) but if you're going to be away for a while, I'd like to know, that way I don't sit and wonder if I might have said something wrong.

★ If you want to RP with me, but you would need me to make a new character first, I'm definitely open to the idea. If you've got reference images you prefer, I've got no problem using them, as long as they come from video games, anime/manga, or they are AI-generated. I will not base a character's appearance around any real person, living or dead.

RP Interests and Information

════ ⋆★⋆ ════
My preference is for story-heavy plots that have a lot of room for character development, plot twists and other fun shit of that nature. Give me the mind games and the drama that goes along with them, the suspense, peril, confrontations, fight scenes (if and when they'd be appropriate.) Don't hold back, give me all of the gooey details you've got in mind during a thread! Twist that plot to its breaking point, then twist it again! Yes, I do enjoy romance in RP, but it needs to be something that happens organically, alongside the character development and plot. Yes, our characters will probably end up fucking at some point, but it needs to make sense before it happens.

Genre Preferences:

★ Fantasy:
High, Low, Dark or (possibly) Urban.

Horror: Eldritch, Supernatural (no vampires or werewolves, please. There are eleventy billon more interesting kinds of entities out there), Paranormal, Monster. These can certainly incorporate elements of slasher, psychological, or religious horror as well!

Apocalyptic (taking place when the world is starting to end): Yep! As long as it's not just a commonplace zombie apocalypse; zombies bore me.

Post-Apocalyptic: Yep! Give me something set in a world vaguely similar to Interplay's Wastelands, Fallout 1 or Fallout 2 and I'm hooked.

Magical Girl: As absolutely batshit as it might sound, I like the idea of potentially playing a somewhat average adult woman who lives in a fairly shitty world and gets coerced/recruited to becoming a magical lady of some sort in a royally fucked-up, horrifying setting. Not sure if it will ever go anywhere, but it's a very rough brain fart!

Note: I am open to trying some other genres I haven't listed above, such as sci-fantasy or sci-horror. I am extremely iffy about isekai, but I am not entirely against the idea. You might potentially convince me to try something else that I haven't considered, but I am absolutely not interested in strictly modern RPs or strictly historical RPs. They have to include strong horror or fantasy elements, or I will turn them down.

Regarding Smutty Things: Because I do honestly enjoy writing and reading about numerous things and I'm open to expanding my horizons (not to mention that stuff can be situational as well) will be broken down into different bullets.

★ Always Fine: The usual suspects (Flirting, teasing, kissing, groping/fondling, foreplay, vanilla, oral, being rough, fingering/handjobs, etc), Demi-Human Monsters (Minotaurs, Driders, Nagas/Lamias, Harpies, Demons, Biblically-Accurate Angels, Eldritch Abominations, Girtablilu/Tlincalli (scorpion people), Slime-people, Satyrs/Fauns, Centaurs, Revenants, Ghasts, Ghouls, Yaddithians, etc) Standard Demi-Humans (Elves, Drow, Half-Elves, Djinn, Undines, Sylphs, Mer-People, Etc), Humans, Tentacles, Sorcery/The Arcane, Restraints/Shackles/Manacles, Blindfolds, Bondage/Shibari, Knife/Dagger/Weapon/Bloodplay, Manipulation, Force, Control, Corruption

★ Situationally Fine: Stockholm Syndrome (I think it's generally overdone and boring, but in the right situation, it could possibly work), Capture/Imprisonment/Enslavement (It needs to be plot-relevant), Voyeurism, Dub-con/Non-con, Torture (it needs to be plot and character relevant, not just "because reasons."), Dirty Talk (None of my characters are modern-day porn stars: they won't talk like a porn actress, will not beg, plead, whine, or repeat what they're told to say. Calling any of them a "good girl" or anything of the sort is a no-go as well.) Pregnancy (It would have to be plot-relevant), Blackmail, Humiliation, Coercion

★ That's A No From Me: Vore, Forced Growth/Feeding, Mind Control, Scat, Vom, Necrophilia, Forced Transformations, Futa, actual Bestiality, Age Regression, Pet-Play, Breeding, Public Humiliation, Incest, Orgies, Cartoony Shit (No attack of the eighty-foot-long cocks, no tits the size of beach balls, no planet-sized asses; you get the point by now.)

My Characters And Their Plot Bunnies:

════ ⋆★⋆ ════

★ My Current Characters Are Here! Clicky Clicky~! ★ Now that I have three of my planned characters finished, I wanted to get their plot bunnies posted and see if I could catch any fish. When you see a character's name above some plot hooks and other stuff, if you click on the link at the beginning of this blurb, you'll find her name and character sheet. Naturally, my character sheets are always a WIP and as such, they're not completely refined, but that's the nature of a character sheet. Also, if you like any of these characters, but have other ideas you'd like to see them thrown into, don't hesitate to let me know what you've got in mind; I've got no problem with different plots than just the few I've come up with so far!

Shantih
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────

Genres Suited For This Character: Eldritch Horror. Apocalyptic Horror. Potential Religious Horror. Dark Fantasy. Maybe Dark Urban Fantasy. Possibly Sci-Horror.

★ It Walks Among Us:

Your Character:
A cult leader, or a high-ranking cultist. I don't like putting a damper on anyone's creativity, so you've got complete creative control with them.

Basic Idea: A church located in the picturesque country town of Ilfra's Rest (town needed a name, I pulled one outta my ass X3) serves as the front for a dangerous cult that has been engaging in shenanigans such as human sacrifices and other ancient, profane rituals and rites. Though they might have failed to call forth anything before, this time is different. Shantih has heard and heeded their summoning.

★ No World For Tomorrow:

Your Character:
The poor bastard (yes, bastard is a univeral term! X3) that was sent to investigate what's going on. Once again, I don't like to put a damper on anyone's creativity and I'd prefer it if you enjoy playing your character, so they are up to you~!

Basic Idea: People have been going missing lately and there have been an obscene number of murders happening in Ilfra's Rest; a dangerous cult has been engaging in kidnapping, human sacrifices and other nefarious rituals in the attempt to summon their very own pet demon. They've failed constantly and relentlessly in the past, but this time around, they were far more successful than they had ever bargained for. Instead of summoning a demon for their own fun and games, they attracted the attention of an extraplanar being. And those poor, stupid fuckers have failed spectacularly in whatever attempts at negotiating with an aberration. Their dumbasses are dead and their church is demolished.

Not only that, but Ilfra's Rest is fucking gone; the whole town looks like it became ground zero overnight. The buildings are in varying states of collapse, the streets are torn up and there are no people left. Complicating matters, a very indignant and perplexed, newly-awakened Shantih is somewhere in Ilfra's Rest; the town is the first casualty of her judgement. The sky's gone dark, the end's begun; a shattered moon and extinguished sun. Reality's warping and coming undone. Life's just one gigantic cosmic joke and you're the fucking punchline, right? Of course, you're the poor jackass who ended up getting sent -by yourself, no less- to figure out what's going on here. Beyond that? It's hard to say.

★ Who Needs Enemies When You Have Nightmares?

Your Character:
The unfortunate sod that Shantih's been communicating with.

Basic Idea: At one point or another, everyone will end up experiencing nightmares and occasionally, people do have dreams that end up being borderline prophetic. You (probably) aren't a prophet or oracle. So, why have you been plagued by dreams where the seasons shatter, the sun burns black, stars tumble from the sky and the sky crashes down? Why is it, that when a shadow-shrouded and blurred figure that you can barely focus on in your dreams starts speaking to you, most of its solemn words are indecipherable, but you can somehow understand that it is simultaneously teasing, giving you extremely vague oracular messages and instructing you to come find it? More importantly, why do you think it would be a good idea to find the ancient, dilapidated ruins it (she) is waiting for you in- and what could possibly happen when you're finally facing her?

───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────
Ro
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────

Genres Suited For This Character: Fantasy (High or Dark)

★ The Dragon Hunt:

Your Character:
Whoever was unlucky enough to be hired by the duke of Dalhurst to deal with the problem... whatever it is.

Basic Idea: After visiting the duchy of Dalhurst (for whatever reason your character was there,) the local lordling has decided to hire you in order to handle the issue that's currently plaguing the region. That insufferable asshole of a duke is certain it's either orcs or goblins, but traveling merchants say they've been ambushed and attacked by a lone highwayman. Complicating those assuptions, farmers have been reporting that their livestock and fruit has been stolen and one tanner's business has been robbed and razed to the ground. You know better than listening to the old drunkard who shrieks and swears that the duchy is being obnoxiously punished by an extremely petty demi-god. Why is it that, when you've set out to find this supposed highwayman, or those orcs or goblins, you haven't seen a single track that would prove any of those assumptions right? How is it possible that, only once you're distracted by something, does a woman seemingly appear out of nowhere, only to steal something that's important to you, make some kind of weird-ass comment about you having pretty eyes, then fucking vanish into the aether? How is it possible that the only footprint you've seen is reptillian? More importantly, why does it seem like something is intentionally playing a game of cat-and-mouse with you, that game becoming more intense the closer you get to the cave you know is up ahead?

★ You Could Be My Pretty Little Enemy:

Your Character:
Another rogue of some sort that was hired to do the same job as Ro.

Basic Idea: Neither one of you are aware that the shifty jackass who'd hired you to complete a particularly dangerous-sounding heist had hired the other person for the same gods-damned thing. In fact, as far as both of you are aware, the noblewoman's sumer manor you're supposed to enter, rob and leave is supposedly empty and unguarded for the next four months. It makes no sense for floorboards to creek on the opposite side of the manor, then; or for you to occasionally catch what you think is movement out of the corner of your eye. Some of the rooms you know you haven't entered yet seem to have already been picked over and at one point, you'd be damned, but you think you could possibly have smelled tobacco smoke. Who else is here, why are they here and what's going to happen when the two of you inadvertantly cross paths?

Helios
───── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ─────

Genres Suited For This Character: Fantasy (High or Dark)

★ To Catch A Unicorn:

Your Character:
Whoever thinks it might be a good idea to try and catch a unicorn.

Basic Idea: According to rumors and stories, unicorns are supposed to be similar to pretty ponies. Of course, they're elusive as all hell and no one's really sure if they exist or not. Still, there are people who will pay extremely large sums for unicorn horns and hooves, since they're damn near impossible to obtain. And if you know who (or how, or what) to ask, people might be willing to share information about the supposedly most recent unicorn sightings. Well, one of your informants ends up being correct -you think, at least. If the hoofprints you find weren't just because normal horses, donkeys, or mules have been in the glade recently. Unfortunately for you, that unicorn has deliberately left a trail for you to follow; she is watching and waiting. Oh, she's damn sure not just some random pony with a golden horn.

★ Avant-Garde Art:

Your Character:
Someone condemned to become Helios's next masterpiece.

Basic Idea: You've done something to piss the wrong person (or people) off and now that you've been captured, you're being taken to someone your captors call "The Artist." Strangely enough, they've escorted you to a dilapidated inn in some forgotten ghost town, took you around back and dragged your ass into the basement, which is currently extremely dimly lit. Only once they've negotiated what might be payment terms with "The Artist" and left, are the lanterns and candles lit. You might not exactly be in a sculptor's studio, but it's not an executioner's domicile, either- it's far worse. Finally, a lady dressed like a noblewoman and wearing an eyepatch, with hooves, a gods-damned horn growing out of her forehead, a fucking horse's tail and ears comes out of the back rooms and grins at you. It looks like she wants to play a game, but it probably isn't going to be cards or dice.
