STATUS: OPEN
INTRODUCTION:
A teen with a unique connection to a yokai on the run from the corporation that experimented on her.
An investigator looking into the murder of her younger sister.
A decked out mercenary hired to protect the CEO of a rising corporation.
Who are you and how do you survive in 20XX where cybernetics and AI are everywhere?
THE PREMISE:

What would you get if you merged the cyberpunk genre with fantasy? Cybernetics exist! Magic exists! Robots exist! Some people have a connection to a mystical side. Some people are more in tun to themselves. And some people are chrome colored. This is the world of :Otherscape.
I'm looking to run a game in this world using the Metro: Otherscape ruleset with Tokyo: Otherscape as the setting. My games are very much character centric, so I do not have any specific plots in mind. Instead, I'll help you build a character, or better yet, you'll tell me the type of character you want to play, and I'll create the plot that puts them centerstage. Don't like the whole fantasy angle? That's okay, we can drop that? Want less cyberpunk and more magic? That's also okay!
If you need some inspiration, here are a few ideas:
- YC is able to communicate with yokai and seeks to protect others from being their prey. Who is sending them?
- YC is a mercenary who is hired to protect a CEO (or their daughter) as strange unnatural things come for her. What is after her?
- YC is an investigator looking into the deaths of various call girls. What does Club Strix have to do with any of this?
- YC is a professional fighter down on her luck, so she enters an underground ring where more than her honor is at stake. What happens if she looses?
- YC is a pleasure bot who gains sentience and seeks to be free. How do they escape?
ABOUT ME:
I consider myself to be a multi-paragraph intermediate writer who has been around for more than a decade now. I love darker stories and have played a variety of roles over the years. I have played males, females, hermaphrodites, etc... and am more than willing to do so here. I also provide face claims for my characters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea and I will not pressure you to provide any if you are not comfortable doing so.
None of the following are absolutely necessary except for my NOTS.
PAIRINGS: MXF, FXF, NBXF, NBXNB
KINKS: Non-con, Dub-con, Consensual, Romance, Erotic Horror, Bad Endings, Voyeurism
ABSOLUTE NOTS: Scat, Watersports, Vore, Incest, Unrealistic Proportions (Macro/Micro)
(Sorry, I'm not looking for hentai. I'd like to keep this relatively realistic if at all possible)
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- A plot tailor made to YC
- Detailed writing.
- 1-3 paragraphs for action scenes. 3-5 paragraphs for just about everything else, often much more if I need to set a scene or some exposition.
- A partner who will not ghost, but work with you to ensure we both get what we want.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:
- Someone with a basic knowledge of the system. I don't think it would be in my best interest to have to explain everything to a complete noob, but then again the system is very noob friendly.
- Someone who can develop an interesting character.
- A healthy dose of smut mixed with adventure in the form of a mystery. I would say 70/30% in favor of plot.
- I would like to point out that the smut does not necessarily have to involve YC, but victims or NPCs. I sometimes feel it is much more impactful if the main character is forced to watch as bad (or good) things happen to other characters.
- Threads or PMs (in order of preference)! Absolutely no Discord.
- A game set with realistic boundaries. I'm not looking for pure hentai, after all!
THE GAME:
:Otherscape is a fantasy-cyberpunk role-playing game that combines supernatural powers inspired by mythology and legend with the gritty neon-lit streets of a sprawling futuristic Megacity. It takes your game group on a rollercoaster ride of gunfights, vehicle chases, cyberspace heists, urban wasteland exploration, clashes of mythology and technology, faction wars, and philosophical questions about the nature of being human — and how to transcend it.
Obviously, this will be scaled down to one GM (me) and one Player. This is also not your standard d20 system like Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder. This is more narrative based. Roll 2d6 and add relevant tags. You can succeed very well without repercussions (10+), succeed but at a cost (7-9), or miss (1-6) in the things you're trying to do. If you've ever played an Apocalypse Engine game (Monster of the Week, City of Mist, Avatar Legends, Masks, Monsterhearts), this is pretty much the standard.

If you are familiar with the system, then you already know how to develop your backstory and stats. Here are a few more things to consider:
- What age range would you like to play? Teen? Young adult? Adult?
- Gender: Female, Hermaphrodite, or Transgender?
- Will this be true solo, as in only YC takes the stage? Do you want a whole team to play with? Do you want to start solo, but add newcomers during the course of the adventure?
- Does YC have friends or allies. For you as the player, are you okay with bad things happening to them?
THE LOCATION:
Tokyo Megacity: a sprawling, neon-drenched labyrinth where ancient shrines hide in the shadows of kilometer-high arcologies, and bullet trains thread through skyways like veins of light. The streets never sleep—alive with holographic billboards, rain-slick alleys, and the hum of drones policing the skies. Beneath the surface, forgotten tunnels and subterranean markets pulse with contraband, mysticism, and whispers of rebellion. It is a city where cybernetic giants in corporate towers shape the future with cold efficiency, while spirits, legends, and old gods refuse to be silenced, bleeding through the cracks of concrete and code. Here, the line between the digital and the divine is razor thin, and every shadow hides both opportunity and danger.
