Mr Morris wiped away the sweat from his old brow. It was only the middle of the morning but the heat in the garage was already starting to build. It didn't help that the shutter door had broken and became jammed shut years ago. Trust him to have picked one off the warmest days of the summer so far to decide to clear out the garage. He had been putting of doing the job for years so one day in the week he decided to finally bit the bullet and get on with it.
He was still quite fit and active for a man of his advancing years. He stood around five foot ten with a slender figure. He had a slight bulbous belly like a lot men his age through years of good living. He enjoyed beer and pizza like most men. Mr Morris was in a hell of a lot better condition than some off his friends. Taking off his glasses he ran his hand through his thinning white hair. Jesus it was hot in here he grumbled to herself before opening the next cardboard box.
The garage was full of cardboard boxes. Old video cassettes compact discs books and old records. Anyone born since the year two thousand would wonder what half off this stuff actually was. There were boxes covered in dust which Mr Morris have not opened in years! There was a various assortment of electrical equipment in the corner of the garage. A television so old that it had buttons instead of a remote control. Kitchen stuff and some free weights. Think of something and it was probably there with the rest off the junk.
He was just about to move onto the next box when he heard a young female voice call out. "In here" he yelled out in a friendly voice. Mrs Kendall from across the road (a lovely lady) had offered him the services of her daughter for the day. At first he had politely refused but she had insisted and he thought it was rude to continued to refuse her kind offer. Hopefully with her help things would go a little easier.
