“Vivian Simone! It is a pleasure to finally meet you! Please take a seat.” Victor Bloodwood implored gesturing towards the chair with one his black gloved hands as he took a seat behind his desk. His voice looming within the air due to the rather large office space that was strangely void of other employees. Yet it appeared well furnished with there being cubicles littered through the complex as well as a common area proposed as a place of collaboration among coworkers had there been any present. Victor’s office itself, while not overly large, did have a nice widow view of the city streets below. Up high and hanging with the clouds made the chaos t below that was this city appeared peaceful. Back inside the office on top of his desk there was nothing peculiar that stood out beyond these two black spheres that looked like solid clay. Next to these orbs was an open folder that contained pages of procedures and expectations for the secretary position. As Vivian would read through she would see information regarding dress code such as needing to wear heels, pencil skirts and blouses designed to show skin. A very thorough yet ambiguous description of the tasks that her job would entail followed. Particularly it seemed to emphasize pleasing her boss and importance obeying his instructions without question or rebuttal.

“Apologize if finding me tucked up all away this up was a task in itself. Onboarding has been difficult as many applicants have been unable to live up to certain expectations of mine. Even my last apprentice who showed great promise fell short in certain expectations. But based on your qualifications I believe that you are capable of doing great things here. Though there is something that I must disclose before we continue…” Victor takes pause as a breath is taken while he adjusts the collar of the solid black suit he wore. Grey fox eyes narrowing as they scan Vivian’s figure. The brief silence carried speculation of possible information he was about to give her and how she would react to such things.Would she keep her composure?Could Victor keep his excitement at bay.

“I'm a meta human. I have few gifts. But the talent of importance for the time being is mind reading. You see basic background checks and screening just aren’t as precise as I require them to be. And to ensure those who work here don’t have nefarious reasons as to why they are here. I probe all my employees's minds for any possible conflicts of interest. No glaring inconsistency between information on your resume and what is inside your head. So if you don’t mind Vivian I’ll need to establish a physical connection between us.” Victor spoke of such a request with a sense of calm as if this wasn’t a major request. Because it wasn’t. In fact while reaching over the orbs with a gloved hand Vivian would see the tip of his fingers were bare as if skin to skin contact is what was needed. But in truth even if she avoided his touch it was his eyes that were the real threat here. Something that the fellow agent before her purposefully had withheld in the briefing of Victor’s power set.

Her gaze, whether focused on his attempt to grab her wrist or on him, would catch the spark of illumination within Victor's eyes beginning to foster. With it would come this compulsion to hold his gaze. A sensation of warmth and lure being brewed into the pit of her stomach that would ooze into her limbs. An invitation from that of intrusive thought that aimed to foster a curiosity for Vivian to simply stare and watch. What would start as a whisper in that of her mind-scape would soon be all she could think as her mind fractured in whatever Victor Bloodwood sought fit.
