Welcome, Good Hunter,
I am happy to have your interest in writing with me. Here you will find the songs and stories of hunting parties, old and new. All of which is gathered together with the hope that their legends live on. One only dies when they become forgotten, as it is said, so let us remember our dearest hunters, old and new. However, before you get carried away, let us remind ourselves of the rules of our pact. What binds us together is what makes us unified to bring about something pleasurable. These are no mere requests, for they are as ancient as the laws that bind this land. Rules and consequences.
Foremostly, my good hunters, I require you to embrace plotting as much as we embrace erotica. This request is not to say I do not enjoy erotic works or lack the drive to partake in them. I actively look forward to descriptive sexual scenes and sensual content. Instead, for me, a good story holds just as much importance as setting the scene of our hunt and the journey, however long it is. Let us tell a story. Paint the endeavor with all the vivid colors that we might see fit to. Stalk the most extraordinary highs and struggle against the lowest lows. The rise, the fall, the happy endings, and the horrid ones. It is all of this that makes up a good hunt. My muse to write is driven in part by significant character interactions with one another.
Effective communication between us is crucial in these trying times. I would appreciate feedback on my performance in my role, just as I believe you would appreciate feedback on your performance in yours. Let's discuss our ideas, dreams, and differences. Having an open line of communication to help us hunt together provides the best experience. I will always strive to communicate as frequently and often as we establish, life permitting, of course. Finally, I understand that the existence of spirits and specters is a given when roleplaying from time to time. Life draws us all apart. Yet, if you could, before disappearing into that good night, reach out to me, I would be ever so pleased. If you cannot, it is also quite understandable. Life happens.
Grammar is an essential piece in text-based roleplaying. I can assure you that you will not be judged heavily on your grammar. I make mistakes in my writing as well, and sometimes they can slip through the cracks during the editing phase. Mistakes are prone to happen in the pursuit of a grand hunt. However, I want to ensure I understand your meaning in our responses to each other. If I don't understand something, I will reach out for clarification. Continued miscues with grammar, however, often kill my muse to write. I want to request that time be allocated to ensure that everything is as legible as possible. By no means do I expect anything close to perfection, just that one attempts to proofread their writing.
Finally, respect is, by and large, the most critical factor of the hunt. I will respect your wishes just as I hope you will respect mine throughout the process. While the hunt might be a maze of twists and turns, I will not spring something on you. My characters may, for the sake of the story, be utterly awful individuals at times. However, this behavior, as mentioned previously, will never be taken outside of the story. Please treat me with the same courtesy and respect during our time together. As a note to leave one with, I ask that you read everything I push out here and within private messages. I understand some things just get missed sometimes. If we could avoid what is written going under the radar too much, I would be most pleased. It's an easy way to tell me how "bought in" to the hunt one is by seeing how much they have done their reading beforehand.
With that said, good hunter, the witching hour comes. Beyond this point comes the hunt itself. I can guide you so far with the labor at hand. After which, the duties of the hunt will also fall upon you. The world we inhabit is kill or be killed. Awaken to reality and seize this moment, good hunter.

My Shakespeare in the Park aside, this is just a brief restatement of my original introduction post for those who haven't seen it. I'll be putting in work to provide a better-defined and in-depth introduction of myself shortly. Until then, my introduction will cover the basis of who I am. If you have any further questions about who I am or what I'm looking for on the site, please don't hesitate to reach out to me via private message.
To begin, hello, my net alias is The Hunting Moon, but feel free to shorten that as you wish—Moon, Moony, Hunting, Hunt, etc. I'm reasonably good with most, and I certainly don't expect people to type out the whole thing. I am very excited to have found Blue Moon, as it looks incredibly well put together and active through my time lurking in the vents of the site like some demented xenomorph. Originally, life had provided a couple of hiccups in dedicating the time to register, but here we are now. With my timetable a little bit better, I'm looking forward to getting back into my little blend of escapism writing, which has become a hobby of mine for about nine years now. I want to say that while it's nowhere near as long or illustrious as some others, my range of experience in both storytelling and writing has been incredibly varied during that time. I'm willing to bet I've covered most mainstream and a good chunk of niche genres in my time roleplaying and writing. My original introduction to the roleplaying scene was in 2016 when I first played my original Dungeons and Dragons campaign at my local card shop because I wanted to hang out with my older cousin. At the time, I had no clue what I was doing or how quickly it'd become a favorite of mine, which spawned my little journey to now. Blue Moon is the latest step in my journey, as I've been seeking a more adult-oriented format for storytelling for some time now.
How I like to have my written roleplay has been influenced by this and various other things along the way. I prefer detailed stories, formatted in multiple paragraphs (I tend to write around 700-1000 words or more per post in the third person frame of view) with emphasis on character, theme, and setting development. While I'm happy to apply my efforts to erotica, I like having a reason for it to be there more often than not. Giving vivid and colorful descriptions has always been fun for me, so I want to try to paint that picture of things whenever I might write. Be it a short-term tale or a long-term epic (I prefer longer format writing), I have always tried to bring that aspect from minor character interactions, grand scale combats, and to descriptive sex scenes. While I will be more than happy to go over my preferences for stories, I have a lean towards exploring history for my grounded settings or leaning into the more grounded fantastical. I enjoy a mix of period dramas, gothic horror, and monster movies, alongside my modern sensibilities, sci-fi epics, and fantasy adventures. Overall, I would like to brag that I am, if anything, flexible in the themes and genres I explore.
All said and done, I thank you for taking the time to read my scribblings here, if you so choose. I'm thrilled to be here among everyone writing, and I'm looking forward to meeting fellow storytellers to have some amazing role-plays with. As of right now, I am more than happy to chat and connect over the next day or so if anyone wants to swing by my private messages or the like. I'll also be adding a Discord if you'd prefer that method as well. While I currently won't be looking to roleplay right out of the gate, once my request thread is up, I will begin trying to get my efforts in line to start writing with others.
