Emeline was a bit startled when he was taking her hands. Yet before he realized it when he was taking her hands he would almost feel as though he was bring shocked. Her magic seeming to react as though to keep her safe. And this had her eyes going even more wide. Oh no.... She hadn't meant to do that. Nobody was supposed to know that she had awakened her abilities. If she wasn't already as caged as she was, it was going to be even worse once her father found out.
 
Al got up from his knees and closed her door before he went back to her and spoke "your fine I don't plan on telling your father this happened but I need to know who hurt you as that he does need to know"
 
Emeline was just watching him although she found herself trembling a bit more as he closed the door, just wrapping her arms around herself tightly. Was it time for him to punish her for her actions? But it wasn't long before he was talking to her, stating he wouldn't tell her father about the magic but about who had hurt her. This just had her shaking her head before she was speaking "I... I don't remember." And it wasn't even her lying it was the truth of the matter. "I.... I remember... General Roman showing up.... And pain.... That is it."
 
"I am not the next ruler.... Merely a princess in name. Father has not yet named an heir." Emeline was speaking after a moment in time. After that she was apologizing that he had to we'd a mere human such as herself. "I will do better at being seen but not heard, least I damage your reputation after we are married."
