June 26th had finally come and would be marked down as one of the most important days of Michelle's life. After five years of going steady, her and her girlfriend had finally tied the knot. The ceremony was small and quaint held at a small vendor just a mile from the beach. There had only been about fifty guests, which were mostly friends and a little bit of mixed family. It had been a long year of planning and organizing with her wedding coordinator, but in the end the stress and frustration had boiled to this day and it had been worth it. There had been only a few small hiccups that Chell's bridesmaid's had quickly handled, but otherwise the whole ceremony had gone smoothly. She had walked down the aisle in her beautiful mermaid dress to meet her soon-to-be wife at the alter, who had gone with a white jumpsuit that had looked stunning on her. They had a friend who was a local judge officiate the wedding and they had stood there, hand in hand, listening to the speech before they finally got to their vows. They had both been emotional expressing their love and devotion to one another, but then they had exchanged rings and shared their first official kiss as a wedded couple followed by the shouts and cheers from their guests. Chell couldn't be happier as she walked with Nora back down the aisle, arm in arm, beaming as she waved to everyone who had chosen to come here and support them. Both of them had family that didn't support their relationship and choices so the family that did come was very important to them.

After the initial ceremony, the two wives had separated. Nora had gone ahead to meet their guests at the after party while Chell changed out of her wedding gown. She didn't want to mess it up around the food and drinks, plus it would be much more comfortable to dress in the short champagne dress she had gotten for this part of the day. Dinner had been delicious and the drinks refreshing from the bar and everyone there seemed in great spirit. As she sat at the main table with Nora, many of the guests came up to talk and congratulate them. Every now and then, Chell would get up and walk around and talk with them, some of them being her two nephews, Liam and Logan. She had honestly been surprised the two had wanted to come, figuring this was not really their kind of scene, but there they were and they seemed to be having a decent time as they sat with her sister and their father. The boys were like two peas in a pod, rather close and always getting into some sort of mischief together. Logan was a little more laid back in comparison to his older brother, and possibly a little better behaved. Especially considering the many little run ins that Liam had had with law enforcement over the years. Hence why he had been on house arrest for a while, but with Chell's connections she had been able to get him allowance to be at her wedding. It wasn't the first time she had bailed him out of trouble.

Chell adored her nephews. Since she and Nora hadn't really decided if they had wanted children themselves, they had been the closest thing she got to it. Plus what aunt didn't love their siblings children? No matter how naughty they could be. She had often babysat them while her sister and brother-in-law worked or went on dates. She considered herself the fun aunt, the one they could trust to come to with any problems and she wouldn't judge them for it. In her eyes, Liam seemed to be especially the most fond of her, but she sometimes joked it was because she was the one to come pick him up whenever he got himself into trouble. Thankfully, Logan himself seemed to have his limits despite admiring his older brother and tagging along when it wouldn't get him into too much serious trouble. It was incredible to see what amazing and handsome young men they had turned out to be and when her and Liam had shared a dance, she was in awe in just how much height he had gained. She had even joked with him saying, "I'm gonna have to talk to your mother about what she's feeding you. You are getting too damn tall. How am I suppose to wrestle ya now?" She had laughed cheerfully, fond of the memories of her on the living room tussling with the boys, where she had once been able to wrestle them to the ground and win, but slowly and surely began to lose as they had grown. Now there was no doubt in her mind that Liam could win easily.

The end of the night had finally come and while she was supposed to leave with Nora to have their first night wedded together and then start their honeymoon tomorrow, there had risen a brief issue with transportation. Her sister, brother-in-law, and Logan had left about an hour ago while Liam had stayed behind. The boy's mother had given up on arguing with him when he was in a mood and with him being drunk, they figured it was best to give him some time to sober up. Hopefully. All her other guests were slowly returning to either their hotel rooms or heading home and Chell didn't want to leave her drunk nephew to the wind in hopes that he'd make it home safely. With a brief talk with Nora, who wasn't too keen on the idea but eventually gave in, Chell had decided she'd drive her nephew to her home. Maybe taking the long way with a cold wind on his face would help sober him up faster so that he wouldn't be a nuisance. He could stay there a night then she could get him a ride home in the morning before she and Nora left. Chell saw her wife off with a quick kiss and a brief hug as she whispered into her ear, "I promise I'll be there soon. I'm sure he'll pass out soon from how much he's drinking so he shouldn't be a problem tonight." She smiled, squeezed her wife's hand then retrieved her nephew from the bar.

"And that's the end of that, Lie. You'll give yourself alcohol poisoning at the rate you're going and I can't have that on my wedding night." Chell lightly scolded with a smirk on her face because she found she could never be too hard on him. He sort of had her wrapped around his finger since he was a baby. Hooking her arm with his, she gave him a strong tug. "Lead me to my car? After all you owe me now. I should be heading home with my wife and making love ya know?" She teased, knowing it would probably gross him out and if it did, she'd laugh at the face he would make. She patted his arm as they made their way into the dark and now mostly empty parking lot. All the gifts and decorations had already been packed up and would be taken care of thanks to her friends, which she made a mental note to send gratitude cards to everyone after the honeymoon. When he tried to head for the driver side of the car, she clicked her tongue and dragged him around to the passenger door. "Yeah as if I'd trust your drunk ass right now to drive. Get in and sober up." She laughed and slapped his arm as she pried herself away and walked around to get in the driver's seat. She fiddled in her small purse for a second to find the keys, tossing a few loose auburn strands of hair back out of her face as she started the car. She was a little disheveled looking from all of the dancing, but she was flushed and happy.

"I would say I'm grateful that you wanted to stay longer than your parents and brother, but I'm thinking you only wanted to stay for the free booze and not for me?" Chell snickered as she pulled away from the vendor and began taking off down the street. She would take the slower path, give him some time to cool down, which she helped by rolling down his window. "And if you feel like getting sick, please do it out the window."
