She loves exploring empty houses while the owners are away, or ghost houses left alone. Even dungeons...

History/Background: In the time before whoever she is now, there was a Yuan-ti pureblood Dhampyr. He was a paladin of some goody-two-shoes power, trying to get into the Oath of a Redeemer. While already at the sufficient level, he went on a quest hoping that his oath takes... He tried to redeem a monstrous yuan-ti or even some other snake like monster, they foughtfinally, and died in the struggle. Not even his faithful animal companion was spared by the dying creature. But their fight happened close to the misty border, and an Undying looking for targets for an experiment... Collecting every usable part, and working the experiment of life - taking what the parts still contained it, the Undying worked its craft and magic.

History/Background: Astraea is a young priestess of Sune from the Faerun, known to some as The Forgotten Realms. She grew up and lived near Balder's Gate, and found the idea of true love drawing her to join the order of priestesses that served the goddess Sune. While still young, and never presiding over weddings and such, she did enjoy encouraging people to let their relationships blossom, or for shy young men to approach women, or perhaps calm an angry father when a local man was interested in his daughter.

However, when involved with matters of the heart, it can become easy to get tangled up in something you should not. Astraea found herself in a forbidden relationship with a married nobleman. This eventually damaged his reputation, and his life began to unravel. Luckily for Astraea, or perhaps very unfortunately, the realm of Ravenloft saw her moral mistake, and eagerly drew her into it. Of course being pulled into another dimension is a rather jarring experience. However, the impact was softened a bit by the young priestess feeling a strange draw towards lust. Not love, but a yearning to let herself be taken and to enjoy all manner...of creatures? What was it about this place? Did she truly need to debase herself by satisfying the vile desires of Ravenloft's vile, evil residents?

1: Any restrictions on languages we can take?
2: any modifier to our starting funds since we are 3rd level?

No worries! My notifications don't always show up either. ^^ And yes! I'm beginning the opening post Act ONE now. ;3 Should have it ready this weekend, yay!
 
I'm just tagging everyone, so please ignore this if you have already given me an answer to this question. 😜 If you wish to keep your reason for venturing into Ravenloft a secret to the other players, you can always reply via PM. Answers don't have to be super detailed, I just need to know how to get you started and if you were a player who received a mysterious letter.

B) Personal Mission/Vendetta/Etc

C) Traveler/Explorer/Stumbled into this Madness

D) Returning home to (a) Ravenloft (I can help you determine which one that would suit your character)
 
Astraea of course stumbled into this, due to a bad decision on her part, the realm decided to welcome her. She does want to return home, though if the realm does manage to corrupt her enough, she may find herself content to remain. With the kind of things that will be going on in this Ravenloft campaign, I have to image our characters will not remain unchanged.

Where is the character roster at? I am going to copy it so I have it for quick reference.

I'm excited to see her survival and growth through the Domains of Dread! All characters, for that matter! Ravenloft is pretty messed up, but throwing some fun smutty/lewd/sexy elements is gonna be great! Sexy horror times!

Ooh! This sounds fun! I'll go with A) Mysterious Message, as I think it will be interesting to have Quinry gain some more lore hahaha
