Anastasia was just sitting in the crowd watching a few of the fights that were happening while the other two were sitting and eating. Her eyes were just studying those that were around her and fighting at that point in time. Always peeled for new people to recruit - either for the ship itself or to act as their eyes and ears in the port. They needed somebody new in that port, their other spy had gotten themselves killed recently.
 
Anastasia was just pursing her lips a little bit before she was rising from where she was sitting and making her way over towards somebody. One of her usual people that she bought stuff from, just speaking to them.
 
Anastasia was just speaking with the person for a moment in time, although she was just raising an eyebrow at something that he was saying. Oh interesting information. Seems like there was another pirate lord there and one that was causing problems. One that her sister and captain didn't get along with at all.
 
Anastasia found herself turning to watch the fight although it wasn't long before a familiar pirate was stepping into the ring. A pirate that was known for cheating.
 
Anastasia was just giving a small purse of her lips and somebody near her was commenting that the pirate was definitely cheating.
 
The pirate just just fighting back against him and for the most part everything seemed normal, but then things were eventually changing. A knife was being pulled and there were definitely sounds around. Pretty much anything went in the fight ring - if it was hand to hand. Weapons weren't permitted unless priorly agreed upon between the two parties and both of them were armed.
 
James wasn't armed but he moved quickly and dodged when the man to a stab at him. James how ever didn't dodge the second attack and ended up with a cut across his chest.
 
Anastasia was just watching before giving a small cringe when the knife was managing to catch him across the chest. And there were definitely a number of people that were yelling for the fight to be called, but the ref definitely wasn't wanting to interfere in the fight at all. Especially not with the pirate being there. There was actually a breath escaping from Anastasia before she happened to be the one that was walking forward. "Alright. It is time for this fight to end now. You have already forfeit any victory you might have obtained by bringing a knife to a fist fight." she was speaking as she was just hopping into the ring without much fear at all. Not the first time that she had intervened at all. The pirate was just stating that little girls shouldn't be in a place like that which just had her rolling her eyes before she was commenting, "And there isn't a single person here who will try and tell me otherwise."
 
James watched her and wondered why she was so confident that no one there would tell her otherwise. James figured there had to be a reason for her confidence and he hoped that she would explain. James then watched as everyone stayed put and didn't move to stop her
 
Anastasia was just letting out a breath of air before she was speaking, "You have been here long enough to know the rules of this fight ring. Weapons aren't allowed unless agreed to with both parties. That is how it has always been." This had the pirate just taking a step closer to her although she didn't shrink away in terror at that point in time, but there were definitely people that were talking at that point in time. Clearly worried. She was however tilting her head before she was speaking, "I am not really afraid of you. Even if you were to challenge me... I am not a fighter therefore I can name a proxy for you to fight in my place. And I don't think you want to deal with that." There was a faint little smirk on her lips as though she knew something that the man didn't know. Which was the truth. She had seen Phaedra enter the fight ring, and could see the woman approaching at that point in time.
 
Anastasia was just giving a small hum before she was taking a couple steps backwards and was just humming to James in a low voice that he might want to take a couple of steps backwards as well. After all the man was stupid and now had his knife drawn and was pointed towards them. There were definitely murmurs around them at that point in time, James would hear people stating that the man was being an idiot. "Pointing a weapon at her... with one of the Pirate Queens here is just asking for death." he would hear somebody mumble. Perhaps it would confuse him since there were a number of woman there, and there were a number of them that were looking beyond pissed.
 
James was confused but he did back up as she had instructed. James didn't know why she was being called a pirate queen but he had a feeling that he would find out sooner then later
 
Anastasia was just giving a small smile as the man was actually being foolish enough to challenge her to a fight which just had the ref stammering that she wasn't a fighter therefore she could name a proxy to fight in her steed. "I don't even have to name one at all." she was humming and it wasn't long before she was just waving towards the platinum blonde haired woman that was coming up through the crowd as though she was a god splitting the seas. "That is one of the Pirate Queens." somebody was whispering nearby and soon enough the woman was actually slipping into the ring herself, a hand on her hip.

"Ana. I love you but goodness you seem to get yourself into trouble now and again." the woman was just commenting. This had Anastasia giving a giggle before she was speaking, "Sorry Phaedra, it was unintentional this time. That man was cheating during a match and nobody else was willing to step up. Not with him being the First Mate of the Dread Pirate." If James knew anything about the pirate world, he would definitely recognize the name Phaedra. One of the few pirate queens. And she was standing there in the flesh at that point in time.

Of course it would be somebody related to the Dread Pirate that was causing problems. All Phaedra could state was she would deal with the situation and was stating to James that he might want to get some medical attention. "Ana can help you. She has medical knowledge."
