Some time in the near future government controls everything, there is no money anymore, people live of vouchers for food, housing is provided to all men and their married women.
Single women live in shelters, where they sleep in )rooms occupied by several women.
The law is for all women to wear a collar, visible at all times.
The colour gives a woman a status.
Single, can be claimed by any man. Claimed, currently occupied by someone. Married to one man. Can not be claimed by no-one.
A single woman has to wear certain clothing for easy inspection and use.
A long coat, no underwear (no face claim, for illustration only).
This collar can be programmed to change colour by a cheap device owned by men.
Red for married (can be changed only by a government authority)
Green for single unclaimed.
Yellow for claimed (a claimed collar shows the ID of the claimant)
Summer is a single woman currently unclaimed, staying in a shelter.
She is a bit of a slut and doesn't mind that attention.
