Hey, so, upfront. I'm a woman in my thirties, lesbian, and asexual. The fact I RP so much on a smut-based roleplay forum is nuts to me sometimes. I'll admit there is something about the intimacy of the act, despite being strangers most of the time. The sensuality of writing to another woman is just intoxicating in itself. I prefer a few paragraphs on average. at times I can get up to 20 paragraphs, and at other times I can go as low as two. The length doesn't really appeal to me, just the content within. Sometimes shorter, faster-based messages can be just as potent as an essay of sexy prose. Sometimes I could get lost in a back and forth and exchange of words for the entire day, other times, a single post a day is all I have in me. It can really vary.

Oh yeah, smut. So, straight up, I'm ace. I love myself a dark romance. kissing, touching, intimate, but it gets harder and harder for me to write a fully detailed sex scene as the years go on,. I used to be pretty good at faking it for the sake of my partner's enjoyment, but nowadays I can just lock up, and the words will never come to me, so sex scenes are typically a no go for me. I realize it's silly to expect that in a place like this and so I can usually do one once in a while if the story really calls for it, but if its not a deal breaker for you, I'd prefer with out it. I'm fine with scenes getting hot and heavy. twisted, dark. Sensual sapphic romance is something I really enjoy, but preferably when it gets spicy, I appreciate a fade to black.

Now, onto the main course,

I am looking for a more grounded story, that I wouldn't exactly call slice of life, more of a slice of hell, but would still be a slice of someones life, these characters would simply have much more interesting lives, typically tied to illegal activity. Something dark, a little heavy, something I can really sink my teeth into as we play two very different but complex characters. Two women who have very different lives, but end up caught up together in something fucked up.

That's the other thing. I would like to play a character who is fucked up, and probably needs therapy. Possibly someone whose terrible reputation is a lie but it doesn't make her any less fucked up. I also have no problem if your character is similar, as long as they are cut from a different cloth.

How they end up entangled will also be important. Two women who have no business ever being together. There could be all sorts of reasons to it as well, whether it is criminals in opposing gangs, or a spy thing, or could be as simple as growing up with entirely different backgrounds.

I'll leave a couple of ideas below, hit me up if anything catches your interest. Oh, and I don't care who you are behind the screen. That may sound cold, but we're just two writers looking for an experience. I find playing and exploring a character with someone else to be one of the best things out there. As long as you're comfortable playing a woman, that's good enough for me. Oh, and let me know if you're fine with playing multiple characters. I'd prefer this story to exist in a fleshed-out world. preferably if we can both pilot groups of other people, that would be best, but I also don't mind being the sole GM with a tighter leash on the narrative, that's fine by me,

Also I prefer all RP to be in third person. Also these characters don't have to be gay. One or both may even think they are straight, but for whatever reason, something about the other woman just brings something out, confusing their sexuality a little bit. I love dark, heavy, complex romances and relationships. It is very cathartic for me.

(I will refer to my character as MC and yours as YC)

MC is a woman who was sent to a high-security prison for the serial murders of many victims. YC knew one of the victims and testified in court to put MC away for life. A lot of the evidence was shaky or circumstantial, and MC refused to take any responsibility, pleading for the span of years during the trial that she was innocent. It has been ten years and the murders have started up again, in the same town where YC still lives. Some touristy small town with a lake, or ski resort, or some other local attraction, whose business boomed after the news of the infamous serial murders went worldwide.

The same kinds of murders from ten years prior. Same M.O. it was all the same, including plenty of details that were never shown to the press. and the same DNA, two major details that ruled out any possibility it was a copycat. The DNA of the original murder was never tied to MC, but the prosecution had built up a strong enough case that it didn't matter---until now. MC is unceremoniously released without any news. The case was big enough that when the press got wind of it, the FBI wouldn't live it down, but for now, MC is back in your hometown and no one else knows she's innocent.

The details of the story can be worked out together. From the serial killer, to what the press referred to them as and what the serial killer did. You are also free to come up with the specifics of your character and who she lost and how she gets by each day since those horrific events. We can also discuss what your character witnessed and what evidence she had that was enough to help put MC away. Maybe they knew each other, or maybe MC was from out of town, maybe YC saw her in the wrong place at the wrong time. I expect YC to have a lot of trauma about it.

MC would also be traumatized. An innocent woman who wouldn't hurt a fly, but, that was ten years ago. Time has changed her. Psychologically, she may even come to resemble the killer whom she was falsely accused of being, and she blames one person for it.

I don't typically do much pre-planning other than establishing the facts of the story before it starts. Anything that happens in the moment, I prefer to see where it goes organically. That said, if things ever get to be too much, I want us to be able to communicate in OOC. if a certain subject or scene makes either one of us uncomfortable, I'd prefer it to be shared so we can course correct, I never want anyone I'm playing with to feel uncomfortable. Also I'm ghost friendly, I get it, but if there is something that can be fixed through course correcting, I'm happy to do that.

YC hated MC. The Queen Bee was also the Queen of YC's Nightmares. She was the most popular girl in school, everyone loved her, but for what ever reason, she hated YC, so everyone there made YC's life miserable. Then one day, in senior year, she was just gone. No one knew why. Teachers didn't have answers, even those who considered themselves MC's best friends couldn't figure anything out. She and her family were just gone. House was empty, social media accounts deactivated and their phone numbers were no longer in service. It had been a big deal, the whole town was left confused. After all, her family was a prominent one. Though YC couldn't have been happier.

Ten years later, YC's life has turned around. She has become a federal agent, working her first big case. High school has barely been a singular thought in her mind. YC hunts killers and highly dangerous criminals and her first big case could make her career for the rest of her life. During YC's investigations she comes across a suspect or at least someone suspected to be connected to the case and she looks like she has had a hard life. it is only suddenly when YC recognizes her for who she is, the Queen Bee herself, but nothing like she remembers.

Similar to the first one, we can work out all the details together. I suspect YC will have a lot of early trauma regarding MC and maybe some unsolved issues still lingering around. I also love the idea of both of us concocting a mystery that can leave us both surprised, maybe the mystery of MC's disappearance has nothing to do with the case YC is on now, but could equally be a dangerous revelation for everyone involved, including YC. and YC's case could also be a deep rabbit hole with no promise of return.

[It doesn't matter to me on who plays who in this one, I have less of a story in mind.]

A therapist who typically assists with higher-value clients takes on a new patient. This patient expresses odd behavior. This patient stands out, either by the way she dresses, looks or behaves. On top of that, her background is odd. Preferably, the story may start with a few different sessions, with time skips between each one as the characters are established and get to know one another. I don't have anything specific in mind on how this character looks or behaves, or what her story is. She may even be a chronic liar. The therapist doesn't know what to think at first, but after a few sessions, begins to understand that this person isn't normal by any means, possibly even dangerous. The therapist could also have her own demons, maybe she recognizes something in the patient that she sees within her self or has seen in her life. After a few sessions, we can see where the story unfolds from there, maybe it will organically grow into some kind of drama or twisted romance.

[Same as the last one, It doesn't matter to me who each of us play]

They were inseparable. Identical. They constantly switched places and did everything together, until one day, one of them disappeared. The details can be discussed thoroughly to figure out what happened that made them separate for the day. Maybe one of them started seeing a boy, maybe one of them had an appointment or was held late after class. Maybe one of them said they had to meet with a friend, only for the friend to claim they were never meeting up that day. For which ever reason, one twin sister is just gone, leaving the other without her best friend.

Ten years later the remaining twin is attending her parents' funeral after they died in a tragic accident. She is not doing well. She already lost half her soul, and now her family was gone too, only for the other twin to show up at the funeral, only she looks nothing like her anymore. Hair is completely different, as is her style. She just shows up out of the blue, with no explanation, and now the two have to try to understand someone they no longer feel a connection to like they did before. Both suffering from very different traumas, and neither want to talk about them.

Maybe there was more to the accident regarding their parents. Maybe it wasn't just tragic, but fucked up. Were they involved in the disappearance of the other twin? Even if they weren't was there still a conspiracy tied to her disappearance? Which ever it is, both suffer from PTSD and no longer recognize the other, for even the twin who was life behind, changed how she used to look to better display how she was feeling inside at the loss of her sister.

Between the trauma and them feeling like complete strangers to each other, maybe other feelings start to develop. confused feelings, that both of them know are wrong, but can't help but feel them anyways.

Similar to the last one, I don't have a plan with this one and am interested in how it could go. As usual, we can discuss the facts as we world build, while both keeping secrets for their respective character so each of us can solve the puzzle as we play

Let me know if any of these strike up your interest, also I'm still coming up with more plots along these lines, so if you have one in mind you would rather pitch instead, by all means. We can also change features of any of the plot hooks if it suits your fancy.
