denial (PoisonousIvee/Mr.Aznable)

Raven kept going to the gym, and found herself being approached by someone new. But instead of interest in her, this person seemed more interested in Derek.

It was really weird; normally they wanted to ask questions about her, but all this guy wanted to know was about Derek. His habits, his routine. What he liked and where he normally hung out. It made her uncomfortable.

Derek had taken to sitting in the car lately, no longer needing to sit and watch her workouts to keep her safe. The humans knew by now to leave her be.

She came out, a look on her face. “There’s some creep in there asking about you..” she said.

He pointed at her firmly, a silent command to stay put. She had never seen him so angry like this before. It was kind of hot, but also a little terrifying.

He moved into the gym and his eyes zeroed in on the man Raven had mentioned. The man smiled kindly at Derek and motioned with his head for Derek to follow before walking towards the back of the gym. Derek did, walking to the back and stepping out through the emergency exit.
"How have you been keeping, Derek? You're missed, you know."
"Shut the fuck up. What are you doing, talking to my girl? Asking her questions about me." Derek demanded. The angel smiled softly, sadly.
"I was sent here to slay you. As you were warned and have been warned." He replied. Derek scowled, his brown eyes turning an unnatural gold hue as he reached for his knife. It dripped with a dark and unholy power, causing the angel to frown.
"Oh, Derek..."

Raven waited in the car, her heart pounding. What was taking so long? She knew he had a temper, but this was insane.

Derek rushed at him, faster than human eyes could really see, and the angel deflected his knife swing with his own short blade.
"You were asked not to falter. Why stray from Him for a human?"
"That's none of your fucking business." Derek hissed and moved faster, hit harder. The angel struggled, not prepared for Derek to be this relentless. He hissed when Derek slashed his arm, his shirt staining red, and he tried to get a strike of his own in. But, Derek had been trained as a superior warrior of Heaven, and overtook him easily. He drove his wicked blade deep into the angel's chest, straight to the hilt, and locked his gaze as he watched him die. He yanked his knife free and placed it back in its sheathe before looking himself over. He was covered in blood, his hands shaking with adrenaline. But, Raven was safe for now. She wouldn't be accosted again. He covered his mouth, his breathing labored as he tried to contain his insane laughter. She should be grateful for all the lengths he went to for her. To be with her.
"O-Oh, Raven...~" He moaned under his breath.
