Regios Name:
Regios Class: (Something that sounds like a name for their fighting style)
Regios Armament:
Regios Description:

z9dbrdUg.png
Name: Ririn Olivia
Age: 20
Kin: Half-Hirde Aer
Fighting Style: Don't let the enemy make a move, pile on the pressure and show no mercy to evildoers.
Description: A young woman on the smaller side, Ririn has two fluffy tails as well as bestial ears on the sides of her head. Her hair and fur is silver, and her skin is oddly pale. Her eyes are a glittering gold, and atop her head are some horns from the Aer side of her parentage.
Personality: Ririn is a rather shy girl with a big heart and a strong sense of justice. Despite being soft-spoken most of the time, when she seems something wrong or someone that needs help, she has no trouble jumping into the fray. She defends herself less than her allies, willing to take a beating to keep them safe.
History: Ririn had a standard childhood for most of her life. She grew up in Lurelin, the border city where Aloran, Gyox, and Rhedon all meet. Despite it being on the larger side, she rarely left her suburb to see the city proper. One day, when she was sixteen, Ririn was in the city with her parents when she was suddenly granted a vision of an event. The event came to pass, but thanks to her sudden warning, nobody was seriously hurt. Four years later, she was granted her Regios from the Forge, and this is where the story begins...
Other Information: Ririn is a farseer, though her visions are uncontrollable and tend to be only a short time into the future. She enjoys writing, and will chronicle her team's exploits in a large journal she hesitates to let others see. As a farseer she has access to divine magics, which she uses to shield and heal.

Regios Name: Knight of Gold
Regios Class: Aegis
Regios Armament: Aether Sword; Aetheric Shield Projector; Extra boosters; Heavy Armor
Regios Description: Knight of Gold is fashioned after warriors of the past, and fights similar to them. Ririn charges forth to smite evil with her blade of aether, and shield the innocent and her allies with her aetheric shield. When necessary she can project her shield to become a wall or form a bubble at a distance, although while doing so she loses the ability to utilize it on her arm. Though her sword can shoot energy slices when necessary, Knight of Gold has a weakness at range. As well, despite the extra boosters, she can be outmaneuvered due to the weight of her armor -- the boosters are meant for quick bursts, and not prolonged usage.

Name: Alekirser

Name: Lonnie
Age: 21
Kin: Human(ish)
Fighting Style: Defend, tank, and support in her Regios. Outside, trick, maneuver, and flee.
Description: Generally appearing as a short and slender young woman, Lonnie has the ability to simply shift forms at-will. While limited in how far she can deviate from the humanoid norm, she can go as tall as 7' and as short as 3' without straining too hard.
Personality: Bright, warm, friendly, and somewhat naive for her power. Very ready to believe in the good of others.
History: Found as an infant deep in a forest of Aloran by a powerful druid, she was raised without much in the way of technology, though she always had a curious mind. When an Ur Spawning resulted in the burning of her and her parent's home, she wanted to do more. Her parent directed her to the Forge, though warned her she wouldn't be likely to be accepted. Not one to be discouraged, Lonnie ventured forth. To the surprise of herself and many (more combat-hardened) others, she was granted a Regios.
Other Information: Lonnie isn't fully sure if she's human, given that typical humans cannot just switch forms willy-nilly. But she's pretty sure she isn't anything else.

Regios Name: Thrun, Hope's Forest
Regios Class: Battalion
Regios Armament: Heavy Armor, Tangleweb Launchers (for restraining without damage), Aetheric Amplifiers (for channeling magic, generally healing and buffing), Rootweave (to anchor and hold the line), and Aetherseed Dispensers (seeds imbued with potent magic and runes, able to trigger and immediately grow into temporary plants that can act like anything from turrets to bastions)
Regios Description: Larger than most Regios, Thrun's outer layer is thick, quick-growing, and ablative bark. The limbs are like branches, and while active, the cracks between the bark glows a pleasant green. Inside are the crystal matrices that maintain its powers, shielded by a few layers of malleable stone. When perfectly still, Thrun can easily be mistaken for a tree with odd growths.

Name: Derra Flynn
Age: 25
Kin: Human
Fighting Style: Bare-knuckle brawler
Description: Standing just a hair shy of five feet tall, her face has a long scar running from above her left eye to the base of her chin. She's missing her original right arm, replaced by an aetheric prosthetic, and generally dresses in dark, plain clothes. Her hair is a deep red, cut short, and her skin is tan.
Personality: Quick to needle others, Derra does care deeply about those she considers friends. It's not easy to get into that category, and she will still be roasting you, but she'll fight to the death to defend you if you've earned it from her. She has little time for formalities and even less for bullies.
History: From the Gyoxian Empire, Derra grew up in the deep wastelands. When she was about thirteen, her home was cut off from the nation at large by an Ur Spawning, and the whole town she had known was forced to fight or die. That Ur incursion was massive, not cleared for over a decade (partially owing to its isolated location), and Derra lost a lot of friends to it. After her home finally reconnected to the Empire, Derra was offered a chance to go to the Forge, potentially to get a replacement for her missing arm and potentially to be granted a Regios. Initially, she declined-no one who used a Regios had come to save her family and friends. But her mother convinced her that she could fight better and protect her home better with one, so she eventually went.
Other Notes: None at the moment.

Regios Name: Blackblade
Regios Class: Striker
Regios Armament: A small horde of Aetheric weapons (mostly small blades and throwing weapons), Quick Armor, AirDash Module, Trap Runes. Retractable Spikes
Regios Description: Only standing at seven and a half feet tall, Blackblade is sleek, aerodynamic, and deadly. Designed to move fast and hit hard, it trades defense for speed and offense, able to dash in short bursts at ridiculous speed to close in and cause harm. The exterior is blackened Aetheric crystals, perfect for blending into the dark. It also uses Trap Runes, which can be deployed to ensnare enemies that are giving chase, or can be set on a battlefield in advance.

Name: Emily Hartford

Age: 18

Kin: Aer

Fighting Style: Magic, with a focus on illusions and plants and a side bit of elemental blasting, manipulation, and healing. Distract and confound the foe before striking.

Description: With pale skin, long, mostly straight, red hair, and pale silver-blue eyes that glow with their own light, Emily stands out rather more than she’d like to. Her body is slender and toned from an active life of magic and movement, and the crystal set just below her collarbone is a mostly flat diamond, points towards her neck and down lower, and to the sides, faceted to a peak in the centre, and about two inches across at the longest point. She’s not very tall, herself, reaching maybe 5’2’’ on a good day, but she often moves by floating or flying, making it less of an issue. Her nails are a pale blue-silver crystal in colour, and quite sharp if not cared for. She likes fluffy and ruffly outfits, and her big ol’ hat was a gift from her mentor.
Personality: Cheery and curious with a dash of honest and innocent…On the surface, anyway. In truth, she is surprisingly dutiful and diligent, with a rather crafty, cunning, mind.

History: Emily grew up in a small village of Albenon, well off the beaten path in the forests and mountains of the Rhedonan Federation. A hunter’s village whose people spent their time, well, hunting, turning game into food and pelts and other things for trade, as well as foraging. It was a peaceful life, but not one Emily was very well-suited for. Luckily enough, however, she found the local witch fascinating. An ornery old woman who lived alone in the woods nearby, she didn’t protest too much when Emily kept showing up, and eventually Emily was taught, and learned. Making potions, wielding magic, how to redirect people and monsters and protect herself.

Good things seldom last, however. Eventually the old lady passed away, and Emily took up her job for the village, and while she settled into the role, the surrounding woods got worse. More hostile, less bountiful, and the beasts grew vicious. When hunters started not coming back from their trips, the village made the decision to evacuate, to migrate to safer land. Emily, still only fourteen at the time, travelled with her family to a nearby town, Gallanon. It was difficult to get used to it, to the crowdedness and the walls, but she managed and even got to continue her practice, if in a different form.

And then the darkness came. Whatever malaise had taken hold of her original home had spread through the woods to her new home in just two short years. But a town is not so easily uprooted, nor is it so easily defeated, with walls and skilled defenders. Attacks happened, and were beaten back, and Emily rose to defend her home. Others were unsure about letting one so young onto the battlefield, but in uncertain times, every bit of help is taken.

It was there, on the walls of her new home, that she learned to use magic for offence. Illusions and trickery won’t stop a horde, so she called on the plants and the elements to do it for her. A year of intermittent battle was a big help, but soon she was seeking a bigger advantage…There was only so much she could do, and she admired, and maybe envied, the Taelesol and their Regios and how much more they could accomplish. Quite a few such individuals had come to Gallanon over the course of the year, and with her home defended, Emily decided to make the journey to Lurelin, to see if she could become a Taelesol, herself.

She could. She did. The Forge, through whichever means it used, decided she was worthy, and granted her a Regios of her own.

Other Information: Her magic is largely practical magic, rather than combat-focused, with spells for cleaning and healing, helping with crops, and summoning, but she had to learn combat spells, and is quite powerful with them. Makes sure to not lie....Most of the time. Being honest as much as possible makes it a lot easier to be believed when she isn’t. Usually she uses this to subtly misdirect with illusions rather than anything untoward, of course!

Regios Name: Will of the Woods

Regios Class: Archsage

Regios Armament: A long, runed, focusing staff tipped in crystal, looking to be groan of an ancient, pale, wood, or perhaps stone. An assortment of floating crystal focusers that aid in directing extra spells, or maintaining longer-lasting enchantments. Flight stability and speed modules and boosters, focusing on efficiency and quickness.

Regios Description: Lithe and lightly armoured, the Will of the Woods looks to be made primarily of wood, pale and with runes of crystal running the length of the limbs. Not tall, by Regios standards, it’s shape is feminine, and key locations, chest, hips, the joints and certain sections of legs and arms, are reinforced with dark green crystalline metal, edged in gold. Long dark fabric makes a skirt, open at the front, from the plates around it’s hips. It lacks a large hat, to Emily’s chagrin, the head being smooth and featureless and instead adorned with a crown of crystal and gold.

An assortment of floating crystal focusers surround the Regios when activated, six, each about eighteen inches long, around the waist as a skirt, four more making up ‘wings’, two on each foot and hand, and another on each elbow and knee. When de-activated, either not worn or not in combat, they attach securely to the Regios. They appear as diamonds with one end longer than the other three, made of the same green metal, edged in gold, as the plates on the main body. Each one has a crystal set into the center, however, clear and blue, peeking out at each point.
