I've got to head to work in about 15 minutes, but I'll try to make a character soon as I get home.

Excited for this! And it's awesome how much lore you're making.
 
I keep forgetting, lol.

But rough ideas are:

Mech is rifle/ammunition based (Exactly what depends on art, but Trowa from Gundam Wing was my spirit animal).

Character himself will either be 16-20 or 30-40. Either son of, or owner of a minor/major munitions guild that helps supplies munitions for "mundane" forces.

Carries specialized munitions (such as like...Aether enchanted rounds that either exploits known weaknesses of the Ur creatures (Sniper/Carbine Rifle/Cannon), or something more basic enchanted but mass produced (Vulcan)
 
Depending on how schmaltzy I can get, I was thinking of relating her to Lunre?

A scion of the moon, brought to the world when it was full and sheltered by the moonlight just long enough to be taken in by her parent.
Like the moon, she's always changing in appearance.

Could also just be an aetheric mage accident or something, but I kinda like that titan link.

Do you have any specific questions? Sometimes I feel like that can jumpstart me, if that makes sense

I'm not sure about this. It's very possible I'm just thinking too much about it, I just worry that a literal Moonchild might be a little too... main character-y? But at the same time I don't know if it really warrants a denial. Would like to hear your thoughts, maybe get opinions from the others as well
 
I'm lookin' for colder, foresty areas to come from, really.

unfortunately i don't rly have more specific than that at the moment


On the note of a literal Moonchild--sounds fun, as long as it's not like...overshadowing and such, yaknow?

Yeah, that was a concern of mine. I don’t want to be overshadowing the rest of the people. I like the character, and I feel confident in my ability to play as Lonnie without making the link to a titan/the moon the focal point, but if everyone feels it’s best to not do that, I can accommodate.

The current nations of Kin are as follows:
  • The Kingdom of Aloran
Named after the first King of Kin, Aloran is considered the ‘original’ nation, and as such is the oldest and largest of the three. Aloran is generally temperate, with a more tropical bend to the eastern area near Gyoxia.
  • The Gyoxian Empire
Gyoxia was founded by the brother of Aloran after the civil war that some contend caused the beginning of the Convergence. The brothers eventually reconciled in the face of the new threat. Gyoxia is mostly wasteland and tropics, and is the wealthiest of the three nations.
  • The Rhedonan Federation
Rhedon is the newest of the three nations, founded after the Convergence. During the upheaval that followed, Aloran and Gyoxia had argued about what to do with the lands where the Convergence had occurred. Eventually, a council of Kin and Urkin was convened, during which it was decided that the city-states that had been founded during the Convergence would all become part of the Federation, which was given the job of watching the rift and sending word should another invasion occur. In general, Rehdon is of a cooler climate, with mountains running along the center.

Hello people! I haven't really had much time today to put in mind a character just yet due to some RL going ons but I am looking forward to the game. I am curious if the group at large feels the PC assortment could use anything in particular thematically?
