Abella, 22 years old, an ordinary woman living in Tacoma, Washington. Abella lived a rather ordinary life: she was a senior in college, oh so close to earning her degree in finances with a job lined up for her once all was said and done. Not wanting to tarnish her grades, Abella kept her social life pretty plain, in which she would only go out with friends on Saturdays, and hasn't seriously dated anyone in well over a year. Most people would hate this lifestyle, but Abella flourished in it and felt like it helped her to grow as a person and as an intellectual. Throughout her entire life, Abella accepted being more of a loner than not. Her parents were hard workers, hardly ever home for more than an hour at a time when they weren't sleeping, leaving very little time to be spent with their daughter. In reality, various nannies had raised Abella far more than her parents actually did, but she did not hold resentment towards her parents for this. They worked themselves to the bone not only because they loved working, but also so that they could have the financial comforts that Abella grew accustomed to. She'd have all of the clothes, equipment, and tech she could ever possibly need, whenever she needed it, and her tuition was completely accounted for and paid by her parents, which Abella was extremely thankful for, beyond what she could show with words and hugs and kisses to them both.

But alas, Abella's life and future would suddenly be put on hold, as she was suddenly transported to a world foreign to her in just about every imaginable way.

She had gone to sleep in her dorm room bed the following evening, but was awoken by the sounds of running water and unusual animals chirping in the distance. She was no longer in her bed, instead sleeping on a patch of grass beside a calm river of water that was a peculiar amethyst color, reflected from the lightly purple colored sky above. Abella immediately knew something was wrong as she opened her eyes and, after adjusting to the burst of light from the sky, saw that she was in the middle of a forest, surrounded by trees that seemed to bend and twist in all sorts of different directions, with leaves covering all colors of the rainbow on them. This was unlike anything Abella had seen before, so naturally she assumed this to be some sort of extremely lucid dream. However, no amount of pinching her arm or neck would make her wake up, but she still could not accept this world to be real in any way. But seeing no other option, Abella got up, stretched her arms and back, and did the logical thing in following the path of the river. It was a complete shot in the dark, but it was a given that if there's a town or something nearby, it would almost certainly be close to running water. That is how cities and towns have been built all throughout time, so it was only logical to be the case here. She wandered for close to an hour before stumbling upon a small village of houses that, oddly enough, looked like they were carved out of large, thick mushrooms. It was a very small village, having only 6 total cottage homes on either side of the lake with a bridge across it to connect the two sides. This place was only getting more bizarre by the minute, but Abella was tired so she decided to go to the first home and knock on the door.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

After waiting a few moments,
A woman unlike anyone she had seen before opens the door, her eyes immediately sizing up Abella.

"Uh, what's up?" She says bluntly, which catches Abella off guard.

"Oh! Um, sorry for bothering you but like, where exactly... Am I right now? I woke up like, an hour up the river, and I have no memory of how I got here or why I'm even here. It feels like something happened to me, because nothing around here is even remotely familiar to me.." Abella replies, sounding nervous, but who wouldn't be in the scenario that she's in? Waking up in a whole new place, clearly a place that isn't her home or anywhere close to it.

"Uh, well this village is called Ashroo, and if you're asking about the region, it's the Nethlatin Empire.." The woman replied, sounding extremely disinterested in this entire conversation, like she had something so much better that she'd like to get back to instead of talking to Abella.

"Ashroo?? I've never heard of this place before... Or the Nethlatin Empire... Where the fuck am I!?" Abella was beginning to panic, her chest heaving heavily as the reality was slowly beginning to set in. Wherever she was, it was like a whole new world entirely... Why was she here? And how on earth could she possibly get home. "I know this sounds insane but like, could I come inside? I genuinely have nowhere to go and like... I don't think I'm even on the same planet anymore..." Abella sounded genuinely worried now, her voice shaky and a small amount of fear on her face. The woman in this home really didn't want to, but she also would've felt awful just kicking this random woman to the curb who at least was lost and concussed.

"Yeah, I guess... Come on in." The woman turned, letting Abella follow her inside, and shutting the door behind her. The house was small but oddly charming, a small living area with a couch and chair off to the right in front of a fireplace, a dining table to the left adjacent to a kitchen, two bedrooms down the short hallway straight ahead, a bathroom across from them, and one doorway that lead to a basement. Most of the things inside seemed normal, albeit a bit dated and lacking technology. The most bizarre thing was this stick that was leaning against the couch. It was a dark oak wood, with a pointed metal cap on one end, and a metallic thunderbolt symbol on the other end. Abella was immediately drawn to it, but she couldn't figure out why. She picked it up curiously as the woman was in the kitchen getting Abella a glass of water. When she came back with the water, Abella had questions.

"So is this like, for home defense? Seems odd to beat someone up with this.." Abella asked, to which the woman suddenly snatched it from her hands, and handed over the glass of water.

"Be careful with it! That's my staff, it's what allows me to make better use of my magic. How do you not know what a staff looks like?" The woman questioned Abella, almost judgemental of her for her lack of knowledge, despite showing pity for her confusion just moments ago.

"M-magic? You can't be serious, right?" Abella replied, not trying to be rude about it, but not believing a word of it quite frankly. In response, while the woman could have zapped Abella, she instead decided to tap the pointed end on the floor, and suddenly not only did the bolt top glow yellow, but a bunch of small lamps began to glow around the room as well. Abella saw no power source or pool of oil or flame powering them, but she was still not convinced. The woman could see this, so she decided to make an example out of one of her dining room chairs: pointing the bolt end of the staff at the chair, and suddenly blasting the chair with electricity that burned it into charcoal in seconds. The woman then used another spell to basically rewind the time of that chair, returning it to normal.

Adeline couldn't believe her eyes. Magic... MAGIC!! How, why, but seriously, HOW??? She thought she was dreaming again, but pinching her arm a few more times once again confirmed to Abella that she was wide awake.

"I... I can't believe it... REAL magic..." Abella said as she slowly sat down, confused and taking a big gulp from the glass of water, no attention paid to the light purple hue of it, that was almost normal compared to magic.

"What, no good mages or wizards where you come from?" The woman asked. "Most of the mages and wizards around these parts deal in some form of either electricity, water, forest, or wind based magic. If it wasn't already obvious, my magic is electricity based, but I've been able to use it to manipulate and create tech and gadgets as well. Wanna see?"
Abella had nothing to lose by seeing. In fact, she was extremely curious now. When agreed, the woman chanted a spell in an unknown language, and suddenly the bolt of her staff began to glow again, and within seconds hundreds of these strange yellow glowing things that almost looked like giant bees had swarmed the air around the mystery woman. They weren't bees at all, it turned out, not real ones at least. They were small, shockingly advanced machines that the woman controlled with her magic, and god only knows what they're capable of.

"Holy shit..." Not exactly wise words, but they were truly the only words that came out from Adeline's mouth. She truly could not believe what she was seeing and experiencing just now, but it was all there plain as day.

"Yeah, it's pretty cool, I guess. I was deemed worthy of being able to traverse the world and explore with my magic, so it must be good enough to keep me safe... So you've seriously never seen magic before? You don't have any magic in you?" The woman is now questioning Abella, taking a seat in the chair to Abella's right, laying the staff across her lap.

"Oh no, never! Magic doesn't exist like AT ALL where I'm from, which makes me think that where I am now is perhaps another world, or another universe, different from my own. But why I am here, that much is still unknown. But an outsider like me couldn't possibly have magic powers, right?"

"I mean, I wouldn't flat out say "yeah you could have magic powers", but I've seen crazier things happen in this world. I could take you somewhere that'll tell you if you have magic powers or not. Would you like to..."
But before the woman could even finish her sentence, Abella's eyes were practically bursting out of her skull as she replied.

"Yes Yes! A thousand times yes! I'd love to at least try finding out. Even if I don't, it might be interesting to learn about. Oh, my name is Abella by the way."

"Abella? Certainly not a name I've heard of before. The name's Zaela, but most people who I don't hate just call me Zae. Wanna go now or?"

"Yes, let's do it!"

And thus, the first of many journeys for the duo of Abella and Zae begins. Upon visiting the Monks of Magic in the region, it will be revealed that Abella is one lucky person out of millions upon millions who has a special magical gift... The power of light based magic. Light is the most pure form of magic, the strongest for defeating and expelling dark forces, at the cost of not being a very defensive type of magic. It can of course be used to stun or blind a foe for means of escape, but its barrier spells leave a lot to be desired. Upon discovering this, Abella will be deemed "The Savior of the Realm they have been looking for" by the Monks, who recite a prophecy of a foreigner using the powers of light magic to defeat
The Demon Queen Abaddon, who has been terrorizing the planet with her chaos magic and her ability to spawn thousands of demonic creatures and horrors on a whim, which she has used to slowly devour entire armies and nations, enveloping them into her kingdom of chaos and carnage. Abella and Zae will have to travel through many villages and cities that are torn apart by war, or are corrupted by the chaos of the Demon Queen. They'll fae many sexually deviant foes, from powerful witches, other demons, a brothel/casino that employs mind controlled women posing as bunny servants, a cult dedicated to the Chaos Queen, horny weeping angels, and so much more that you and I, yes you the woman reading this, can craft together~
