The creature slowly open it's giant single yellow eye waking from it's unconscious state. As it look around it's surroundings it found itself in the centre of a huge laboratory imprisoned inside a large steel cage. The last thing it remembered was that along with the other crew members they had been using the cover of a storm to survey part of the planet when suddenly without warning their ship was hit by a lightning strike. After that everything was just blur off noise flashing warning lights and fire.
The creature was from a malevolent alien race known as the Kregg. Like locusts the Kregg went from system to system stripping it off its natural resources and enslaving the local population before moving onto the next system. Worse off all the Kregg would breed with its victims forcing them to produce more Kregg. The cycle of rape and destruction had been going on for a thousand years. From humble beginnings the Kregg now number in the millions!
This particular Kregg was one off three creatures that had been sent out to scout a system laying on the edge of its furthest range. The system was of eight planets and many moons rotating around a single star. At first their mission yielded nothing off any interest just four large gas planets which might be useful and a small red one which was all but dead. However the Kregg found what they were searching for when they came to the next planet. A planet hugely rich in natural resources and even better a potential seven billion slaves!
The Kregg itself was a huge beast about the size off an elephant. It could only be described as a cross between a octopus and a slug. The huge domed body with a mass off tentacles sitting on top of a giant foot. A thick leather like green and brown skin covered its body. Trying to move one of it's twelve powerful tentacles it's movement was restricted by metal chains which were attached to the concrete floor of the cell.
Looking around the laboratory it saw one of its companions floating lifeless inside a liquid filled cylinder. The third member of the crew was tired on top of a large operating table on the far side of the laboratory. It's huge body had been cut open but judging by the large amount of scarring and burns over it's body the caged Kregg judged it had died from injuries sustained during the crash.
It suddenly closed it's eye at the hissing sound of a laboratory door being open and the click click sound of high heeled shoes on the concrete floor. Faking it's unconsciousness it continued to listen to the humans.
