what can I do to make it look more like a Dm/Gm type deal instead of a regular roleplay

If you're interested in any sort of mechanics at all you could post in the system board.

I find in a GM role you can't always expect multiple paragraphs from people. Without the ability to make choices about the environment or even if they managed to actually hit a zombie or whatever they can be stuck. You can always add thoughts, but it gets a bit much having a whole internal monolog between every split second action.

So, to me, having that requirement implies you're not acting as a gm/dm in the classic sense, but rather you expect to have more control over the setting than typical with less ooc discussion of what should happen next.
