"Captain!" A new voice called out to him, and when he turned it was Ranger Beaumont, "Spetinac said you were here for patrol reports. You guys bored out there?" He teased.
He chuckled, "Better than just standing around, I suppose." He replied, "Didn't mean for you guys to pick up all my slack. Why not take a load off while I drum up that report for you? Won't take long."
Beaumont spoke into the recorder as he wrote up the report, making sure there were copies for both parties. Colt wasn't really listening, though. He started thinking about Saya again.
"I'll go get the kid. Lord knows he's squirming being so close to LT right now." Martin said before heading out.
Spetinac smiled up at Colt.
"Thank you again for the help, Captain."
He nodded, smiling more.
"Will do." He replied. When Colt left the station, his men were already waiting for him.
"How late do you think it'll be by the time we get back?" Aces yawned.
Would Saya even be awake still?
