Ghosts haunt for a reason (FinnxRuss)

Rachel nodded, walking into the restaurant and looking around for Michael. Spotting him at a table for two, she turned to Casper. "Thanks for listening. I'll come by and see you later, ok?" She gave him a kiss on the cheek and went to join Michael at his table. "Hey. Thanks for meeting me here instead of at the cafe. I just wanted to get out of there." She didn't want to spoil their dinner, so she decided she would tell him later.

Casper smiled as she kissed his cheek before he nodded to Michael, waving to Rachel as she went to him before he turned around and left the restaurant, not wanting to interupt it all as he went back towards the Café, hoping to catch Lois before her shift would end, planning on turning rough if she didn't let him do so willingly.

Michael smiled, helping her by holding her chair and being as much a gentleman as possible before he sat down, a waiter bringing them the menu cards. "It's okay, as long as I get to spend my evening with you." He told her softly, picking out their usual drinks before going over the menu, wondering if he should stray from the usual and try something new.

Lois was just getting ready to leave the cafe when Casper returned, this time alone. "Did you decide to lose the bitch? or did she leave you for the first piece of flesh that crossed her path?" She still believed that Rachel had been a willing participant in what she'd seen that morning.

Rachel looked over her menu, trying to decide what to order, finally deciding on chicken parmesan. Setting her menu down, she took a sip of her drink, smiling weakly at him, trying to forget what she'd been forced to do that morning, and just enjoy her dinner.

Casper went back, seeing Lois there as she seemed to be about to leave. He listened to her words, fighting the anger in his hearts. "If you bothered taking the pictures in the first place, why didn't you ask her about what happened?" He asked her back, standing near her as he was going to do whatever he wanted towards her unless she helped him willingly.

Michael watched her, smiling and happy about being there with her as he decided to order a spaghetti carbonara, not being in the mood for anything too heavy. He waved for the waiter once they both knew what they wanted as he then placed their order, taking a sip of his drink afterwards, trying to catch her eyes.

"It's no concern of mine who she wants to screw around with. I feel bad for her boyfriend though, having a girl that would cheat so easily." Lois still didn't know that he wanted her help, though she herself had a similar experience with their boss, one that she had never told anyone about, fearful of what the boss would do if she went to the police.

Rachel avoided his eyes as they waited for their food, feeling like she didn't deserve his love. Even though her boss had not given her a choice, she hadn't even tried to stop him from doing what he wanted.

Casper heard her words as he only grinned, following her outside before he flipped her around, pushing her up against the wall, using his own body to stop her. "Listen, whether you feel bad for her or her boyfriend is not my concern, she was forced into what was done. Now if you have any backup of the pictures, help me end this." His voice was hard, almost commanding as he wasn't sure what else to do when he wanted to save the relationship between Rachel and Michael.

Michael noticed her avoiding his eyes as he sunk, leaning in over the table and softly taking her hand. "Is everything okay?" He asked her, hoping it wouldn't ruin the dinner he was having with her even though he could almost sense that there was something wrong. He was hoping she would be honest with him or at least look into his eyes so could have some more help finding out what might be wrong.

Lois glared at him as she was pushed against the wall. She didn't fight him though, not that she could. "I can't help you. He'll know if one of us tells..." She looked away from him, realizing that she'd said way too much. "Just let it go. No one can stop him..."

Pulling her hand away, she picked up her soda, sipping it slowly, still not wanting to look him in the eye. Maybe Ian had been right about her all along, that she was nothing but a cock loving slut. She was thankful when the food arrived, giving her something else to focus on. She wanted so much to tell him what happened, but this was supposed to be a nice dinner for them.

Casper looked into her eyes, watching her look away from him as he stepped back. "You have spare pictures, let me use them and he won't be able to touch you." He told her, gesturing for her to show the way. "And look, I'm sorry about being rough, I'm just upset about this because I hadn't expected this." He was showing himself from a nicer side now, knowing the girl was probably frightened for him and her boss. But if he could help Rachel this way and if it helped others, he would do it.

Michael watched her pull back, sinking the lump in his throat as he was worrying even more about her. The food came and they apparently ate in silence as he felt his heart ache, it was like when he had first been with her. He wanted her to be happy and smile to him. He wanted her to be able to tell him anything, open up to him and be happy.

Sighing, Lois headed up the street to the bus station. She took the bus to work every day, her home being across town. "I sent the photos to my email, so I could use them myself." She'd originally planned to use them to hurt Rachel, but now she had another reason to keep them.

Rachel looked up at him after a while, a sad look to her. She had thought that she could be happy here, but that happiness had been destroyed in a single decision that morning. Seeing the look on his face, she decided she had to tell him. Reaching across for his hand, she gave it a light squeeze, a tear slipping down her cheek as she told him what happened when she arrived at the cafe that morning, her voice barely above a whisper so no one else in the restaurant would hear.

Casper listened to her, following her to the bus and paying for them both. "Okay, I'll come with you, send them to my mail and then as my apology for my behaviour, how about I buy you dinner?" He suggested to her, wanting to make up for his conscience nagging him like hell.

Michael watched her as she looked at him, he knew that she was sad as he took her hand in his, watching the tear as he felt her squeeze. He wanted her to be happy as he listened to her, his eyes widening for a moment before he moved around of the table, silently of course, his arms going around her as he pulled her in close. "Is that what Casper's fixing?" He asked her softly, not letting anyone else hear them.

Lois nodded, getting on the bus while Casper paid the driver, then went to find an empty seat. "You don't have to buy me dinner. I can cook something up when we get to my house."

Rachel nodded, leaning against him when he moved to sit beside her. "Yeah.. He went to talk to one of my coworkers, I believe. She'd taken pictures of what happened this morning, and I am guessing showed them to Casper." Turning to look at him, she reached up to touch his cheek. "Can we just go back to the dorms? I want to be alone right now.."

Casper walked with her through the bus, sitting next to her as he listened to her, smiling at the idea. "Cool, then it's a deal." He said, keeping the smile on for the rest of the trip.

Michael listened to her as he knew exactly what Casper was doing. He nodded in response, not seeming bothered with the food as long as she was happy. "Sure, I'll just pay then we'll leave." He told her, reaching his hand up and waving for the waiter as he wanted to pay as soon as possible so they could get back to the dorm and she could relax with him instead of being out in public.

Lois nodded, watching out the window, not sure what to say to Casper. After a few minutes, she turned to look at him. "I'm sorry for the way I acted before. You must really care for Rachel, to be going through all this trouble to help her."

Rachel got up after Michael paid for the meal, even though they'd barely eaten any of it. "I'm sorry for being so much trouble, Michael.." She put an arm around his waist, walking out of the restaurant with him. She hoped that what Casper was doing to fix the mess she was in was a success. She didn't want to ever have to see that man again, but she also needed to keep her job.

Casper looked at her, catching her eyes. "Yea, she means a lot to me." He told her, nodding as he tried to catch her eyes. "I want to see her happy even if she's with someone else." He added a moment after, having broken any eye contact they might've had as he looked out of the windows on the other side of the bus.

Michael paid, not seeming bothered by the ordeal as he left with her. "Don't be sorry, it's not your fault." He told her, his tone gentle as he knew that Casper would be able to fix it up so she would keep her job, a good resume and a new boss. It would be perfect that way and they would be happy together.

"You are in love with her, aren't you? Let me guess. She doesn't return your feelings at all, does she?" Lois looked back out the window, not sure what else to say.

Rachel smiled weakly, her arm going around him as they walked back to the campus. She knew it wasn't her fault, but she still felt like it was. "How many more years of school do you have, Michael?"

Casper grinned at her words. "It's not that, she's in a relationship with my best friend." He told her, shrugging it off. "And even during that, she manages to find time to satisfy my needs and being best mates, he doesn't mind it as long as he knows that she'll return to him." He said, it wasn't much of a biggie to him that he had slept with Rachel occassionally when he had really lusted for a woman but he didn't care if Lois knew it anyhow, he would try to see if she could be swayed to his side and maybe even make a girlfriend out of her.

"I have this half year and one more." Michael told her, having an arm around her shoulders as he walked with her, his tone being gentle towards her as he looked down at her once. "Look, don't bother thinking about what happened, I'm sure Casper's taking good care of it." He told her, trying to cheer her up a bit as he hated to see her sad like this.

Completely unaware of the male and female that suddenly passed the couple, Markus grinned, having noticed them as he gave a quick look to Catherine, walking next to him in the body of a sexy young thing that one would consider a real slut if they had known her befor her possession.

"So you and Rachel are just friends with benefits, then? If it were me, I wouldn't want to share with anyone." It wasn't much longer before the bus reached her stop. Getting up, she waited for Casper to go so she could get off the bus.

"After that, we can move into an apartment of our own?" Rachel would probably have a place before then, since she'd need a place to stay during the summer when school was out.

Catherine smirked, glancing back at Rachel and Michael, before looking at Markus. "Seems we found her. That certainly was quicker that I had thought. What do we do now?"

Casper nodded in return, hearing her words as he knew she was right. It had to stop with him sleeping with Rachel soon because sooner or later she would get in tighter with Michael and then it would be too late. "I guess you're right." He said, getting up so she could lead the way after leaving the bus.

Michael heard her idea about the apartment as he grinned, looking down at her. "I'll try and arrange an apartment for us, though we'd need Casper to stay there so it won't be too expensive on either of us." He explained to her as he tugged her a bit in against him, wanting her to be happy.

Markus looked down at Catherine with a smirk on his face. "Now we wait, we need her to be secluded for the boy and then we can confront her." He took her hand, continuing down the road in their new bodies, the old souls being completely faded as they were both around twenty.

Lois walked down her street, stopping outside an old apartment building. Heading inside and up to her apartment, she unlocked the door, heading inside to let the babysitter know that she was home, then went into the back to check on her son.

Rachel nodded, kissing him lightly. "I think that could be possible, or I could get a second job to help pay for it." As fond as she was of Casper, she had fallen in love with Michael, and wanted only him. "I'll think about it though"

Catherine nodded. "I can follow her around and find out what she does during the day when she's not with that boy."

Casper followed her, completely unaware of the fact that she had been pregnant. She was young even, probably a year younger than him. But it was way easier getting a job if you were female. He decided to stay in the entrance for now until she would call him in.

Michael kissed her softly back, hearing her idea about a second job before he shock his head gently. "No, I'll get a part time job. I don't want you to stress yourself too much." He told her, knowing that he would have to stop sharing her with Casper soon, he didn't want to end up with a jealous feeling that would ruin their friendship.

Markus heard her words as he grinned. "You go ahead and do that, did you remember to bring some of the instruments?" He asked her, hoping they could punish Rachel for having left so suddenly without being broken.

Lois paid the babysitter, watching her leave before picking up her son, carrying him out to the living room. "The computer's on the desk over there." She pointed to the computer, moving to sit down, setting her child on her lap. She always kept her email set to log in automatically, so he wouldn't have too much trouble accessing the photos of Rachel.

Rachel smiled at him, walking into the room they shared, sitting down on the bed. "If you are sure you want to. I don't mind getting a second job though."

Catherine nodded, grinning back at Markus. "Yeah. I left them back in the hotel room, though well hidden. Wouldn't want one of the hotel maids finding our toys."

Casper was a bit shocked when she came back out with a kid, wondering if it was a result of her boss having had an affair with the poor girl as well. He nodded in response, heading over to the computer and turning it on, it didn't take more than ten minutes for him to clear up the pictures, sending them to his own mail before deleting the one's she had. He just wanted to be sure about it as he turned back to her. "Isn't it hard being along this young with a child?" He asked her, finding the question quite casual.

Michael watched her sit down on the bed before he softly pushed her down, himself on top as he kissed her on her lips. "Don't get a second job, you won't have any time for me if you do." He told her softly, looking into her eyes as he wanted her to be happy but he also wanted to be able to be with her, spend time with her.

Markus nodded. "Good, though knowing hotel maids, they'd just play around and then clean up." He replied, kissing her on her lips, passionately right there on the street. It had been so long since they had been together in human bodies so this was still quite strange to him.

Lois played with her child, who was about a year old, while Casper was using her computer. Her coworkers, except for Rachel, all knew that she had a kid, but none of them knew who the father is. She'd told them all that her boyfriend had dumped her after getting her pregnant. Looking up when Casper spoke, she shook her head. "A little... when my parents found out I was pregnant, they wanted nothing to do with me.. I've done pretty well though so far." Not really wanting to talk about that, she changed the subject. "Did you have any trouble finding those photos of your friend?"

Rachel put her arms around him, kissing him back as she was pushed back on the bed. "Alright.. No second job, but only because you asked so nicely." She didn't want to lose what little time she had to spend with him either.

"I'll start following her around tomorrow. She's probably not going to be going anywhere else tonight. We should head back to the hotel."

Casper watched her as she replied listening to her as he then stood up. "No biggie, they're sent to my mail and I'll figure out how to approach it." He told her, waving it off for now as he had listened to her, already having figured out who was the father. "I'm sorry you had to go through the pain." He told her after a moment, heading over to the couch and sitting down there, just watching her play with her kid.

Michael loved the feeling of being close to her as he laid there with her. "I'm glad to hear that." He replied, looking down into her eyes, a soft look in his own as he was happy to be there with her.

Markus nodded in response. "Okay, lets go." He told her, taking her hand and leading the way back to the hotel. He wanted to spend a night with her like they had never spend before, but he knew that he would need more than just himself for that.

Lois smiled when Casper joined her on the couch. "Would you like to hold him? I don't think I ever got your name.." She might have heard Rachel say his name back at the cafe, but couldn't remember.

Rachel smiled at him, pulling him down for another kiss. Breaking the kiss after a few moments, she reached up to stroke his cheek. "I'm glad I met you that one day. You've made me very happy these past couple weeks."

Catherine nodded, putting an arm around his waist as they headed back to the hotel. She was happy to have a body again, since it meant that she and Markus had another chance at a life together, having been denied that the first time around.
