About Me...
Howdy everyone. Figured I'd try some of this fancy formatting people have on their request threads. Though I am being lazy and cheating a little by using one of the super handy templates the design team made. So props to them.
A little about me. I've been rping here for a few years now. 2018 feels so long ago, but alas, we, like time, march on. I live a cozy little lifestyle with my dog Briggs, who's the sweetest but dumbest boy ever. When I'm not online, I'm rock climbing, watching sports, exploring, playing video games, and trying to deal with the aforementioned dog. I have a cushy wfh email job, so I'm usually online a lot, but don't let that scare you. I do not poke for replies unless it's been a week +. I know life happens, and sometimes it takes time to get back to replies.
I consider myself a pretty laid-back person irl, and I like to think that extends to rp as well. I'm far from a grammar and spelling expert, and I don't require that you be either. Neither of us has an editor looking over our posts. But a decent grasp of the English language goes a long way. I'm not looking for purple prose, and certainly won't be offering it, but basic readability and flow go a long way.
I love OOC and being friendly with my partners but know that's not for everyone so as long as we can work together very well with progressing the story forward that's A-ok with me.
Now onto the good stuff.
If you want to see more, you can find my F-List here.
The more stars I put, the more interested I am!

Writing Partner Expectations:
A decent grasp of English. Higher than basic but not expert level. Too many times I've started writing with someone, and I'm not judging, but the structure is bad, the grammar is poor, and the storytelling is all over the place. Nothing kills my muse faster than opening a reply and seeing a lot of choppy, incoherent sentences. I'm looking for like B+, A- English paper work. As well as a desire to work together. I want you to come to me with ideas for what could happen next. Or be enthusiastic about the ideas I bring. And in a similar vein, be willing to say "not really feeling that idea, but what about ..." It's a collaborative hobby, so let's collaborate.

Pairings:
We can discuss who plays Character A and B during planning[/B].
Original Stories:
A McGuffin is stolen and Character A has to get it back. They enlist the help of Character B. Either willingly or not.
Character A is a character of some import. So it's really awkward when they go missing. Character B is hired to find them. But do they want to be found?
Characters A and B are rivals (families, gangs, nations, etc). They are at a political summit together and the tension in the air is palpable. Can they bring peace or will their passion drive their respective groups further to the brink of war?
A magical catastrophe happens, changing the lives of Characters A and B. They have to find a fix or will they just live with what has changed about them?
Character A comes looking for training under Character B. They agree, under one major condition.
Characters A and B are journeying together as part of a larger group. What will they see, experience, and overcome on the way to where they are going?
Characters A and B were kidnapped and experimented on by a mad scientist. They escape. Are they able to find vengeance/closure/love after what was done to them?
Corporate Espionage. That's it. That's the idea
Characters A and B are trying to escape a warzone. But for different reasons
Character A is dubbed the child of prophecy. Very much against their will. They escape, trying to avoid their fate, and Character B gets caught up in their current.
Character A is a scientist who stumbles upon Character B, a creature of myth. They promise to keep Character B's existence a secret if they can study them
On a small ship at sea, Characters A and B end up the only survivors of a brutal storm. The ship is broken and they have to work together to survive
Character A finds a dark secret about their employer. Trying to keep them quiet the employer hires Character B to take them out. But Character B is either a double agent, or just feels bad for Character A and helps them. (Definitely more cyberpunk focused)
Character A gets transported to another world. Rather than being a larger-than-life hero, they're actually kinda useless. Character B, however, is a hero and promises to get Character A home.
Characters A and B are dragons who meet in human form. They don't realize this and try to stop the other from learning their secret while also defending from magic users trying to harvest them for parts
A woman who looks like a bimbo but who actually has a brain in her head is frustrated she can't get ahead because of her looks. She hires a regular guy off the street to be her during public appearances. Shenanigans ensue
