"we will get through it together I have never been a father before so we both have some learning to do" Alexi pulled her to him and hugged her
 
Braelyn was just giving a nod of her head before she questioned in a soft voice, an almost frightened voice. Questioning if after the baby was born if he was going to abandon her. There were a number of masters that did that, abandoned their pets after they had children.
 
Braelyn was just looking towards him for a brief moment in time before she was giving a very small nod of her head. "Oh also... I got a letter the other day...." she was speaking in a soft voice. A letter for a pet now that was an odd thing, normally they didn't get those. But even Rose would find that she had also gotten a letter. One from Calliope, an invitation for tea sometime. Girl time. Regardless of them being pets - she didn't care at all. She was just wanting some female friends to spend time with - even if she needed to come to the compound herself.
 
"I... I...It was from L...Lady Calliope. She was inviting me to join her for t...tea. She wished to spend time with some fellow f...females." Braelyn was speaking after a moment in time, her voice soft.
 
Alexi walked with her to the bedroom "Calliope has had kids before so if you have any questions about pregnancy and you don't want to talk to the doctor about them you can ask her"
 
Alexi walked in to the room with her and then headed to a door that hadn't been opened while she was there. Alexi opened the door and motioned for her to join him
 
Braelyn was just following after him and just looking towards the door for a moment in time, and was just tilting her head. But she was still following after him regardless.
 
Braelyn was just looking towards him for a moment in time before she questioned, "Will I still be allowed to be around my baby?" A valid question. She had seen some pets that as soon as they had given birth to a child, the father would have somebody else raise them and the mother never got to actually be around the child. Most of the time it was just the male masters not wanting their child to know that their mother was nothing more than a pet pretty much.
 
"yes you will I am not going to keep you from your child" Alexi figured it was better to let her raise her child then to take the kid away from her as it would cause problems in the long run. Alexi had seen many pets go insane because their child had been taken from them.

while they were talking about her getting to keep her baby Rose was curled up on the couch in Damians room coughing and freezing at the same time. if Damian checked he would find that she was running a high fever and her breathing was ragged and labored
 
Braelyn was giving a nod of her head before she was speaking in a soft voice, "O....Okay." That was a least somewhat of a relief at that point in time, knowing that she would still be able to take care of her baby when it was born. With that she was tilting her head and just questioning in a soft voice if she could send a letter back to Calliope stating that she would love to join her. "Umm.... Would you prefer if she were to come here?" Braelyn questioned after a moment in time, her voice soft. In a way this could be a test to see how well trained Braelyn was for Alexi - allowing her to go there. Granted he would probably accompany her there and do his own thing while the ladies were spending time together, but he probably wouldn't be hovering.

Currently Damian wasn't in his room, finishing up a meeting with a couple of elder masters who knew that their time was up and they were bringing their pets there to help find them new homes. Not uncommon - and these were elderly masters that Damian knew had taken care of their pets. Trained them well but also took care of them, treated them with respect even though they were pets. A balanced relationship between being treated as a pet and a normal person truly. But that was definitely the best route to go - to really help the pet learn to trust their masters. When their master also treated them as a normal person, treated them kindly, and even did things that they enjoyed now and again.

As this was happening, Calliope was just speaking with some of the servants within the mansion and getting to know them more. There were definitely some of them that seemed irritated that she was doing this, but there were others who didn't seem to care at all.
 
"you can go there you have been very good and deserve to be able to go out" Alexi would go with and talk with Caleb and see how his business was going while the girls talked and had fun. he would even see if his brother would bring his pet and join him letting her have a little freedom as well. Alexi wasn't aware that she was ill but he did know that several of the staff had fallen ill at that time.
 
Braelyn was just giving a nod of her head before she was stating that she would send a letter back to her right away. No she was definitely happy about the whole thing at that point in time, a bright smile on her lips.
 
Alexi smiled and then kissed her lightly "make sure you rest as well" he didn't want her over doing it and something happening to the baby while he knew that it would be hard for that to happen there was still and chance and he wanted to avoid it
