A few weeks had gone past since the auction, and Braelyn found herself sitting in the medical wing of the compound at the orders of Alexi. She had been randomly sick the past few days and it was now being told to her by the doctor that she was pregnant. This did have her eyes going a bit wide at that point in time, there being that slight fear with having never been a mother before. But in the last few weeks she had most definitely proved that she was a very loyal pet, doing anything that was asked of her by Alexi. So the fact that she was carrying his child definitely made her very happy, it seemed like the greatest gift that she could receive from her master. Already the doctor was sending one of the others to go and fetch Alexi to bring him there - but that wasn't abnormal at all. He wanted to speak to both mother and father at that point - and make sure that the woman knew that despite the fact that she was a pet, she did still have a say. And this was something that none of the masters argued with him about.

As this was happening, Calliope was giving Caleb a soft kiss on the lips and telling him to have fun; he having to leave to attend to something business related, leaving her at the mansion to take care of stuff. Things had definitely started to mellow out for them, and it helped that they had weed out the dramatic staff and got them out of the mansion, those that were there being more loyal to both of them than anything. It was a bit more obvious that Calliope was pregnant as well - not that she was really showing at only two months but the morning sickness had definitely been killer on her recently. And her mood swings had been something unimaginable, not that it was completely her fault though.
 
Alexi looked up when a staff member came in to his office and told him that he was needed in the medical wing. this had him getting up as he was worried that something was wrong with Braelyn. Alexi had sent her to see the doctor as she had been getting sick recently and he wanted to make sure that she was ok.

Caleb kissed her back lightly and then joked with her "there is no fun in work but Ill be home soon and then we can spend some time together" Caleb had kept to his word and out side of him kissing her he hadn't touched her in any way
 
The doctor was just looking towards Alexi as he entered the room before he was speaking, "The reason your pet has been getting sick is because she is pregnant. Only a few weeks along but that is despite the fact." Although that would tell him that he had pretty much gotten her pregnant perhaps one of the first times that they had done anything - probably back when she had been fighting him so much. He wouldn't be at all shocked when the doctor was telling Braelyn that she did have a choice in the matter though. "This is my hospital, these are my rules and they overrule that of the masters words." the doctor was speaking but Braelyn was stating that she wanted to keep her baby.

Calliope was just giving a small giggle before she was speaking, "Sometimes work can be fun." No over the last few weeks had had kept to his word about not touching her, at least not until after the baby was born. But over the last few weeks she had gone to realization that she did have feelings for this man, and it was genuine feelings as well. Where she wouldn't be opposed to his touch - but a contract had been signed regardless. And he had stipulated that he wouldn't touch her in that manner until the child was born.
 
Alexi stroked her cheek and spoke "then we will keep the baby" he didn't mind and would like having a child around that could one day take over his job and he hoped that soon his brother would have a child as well to one day take over his job.

Caleb smiled and then kissed her once more before heading to his car so that he could get going
 
Braelyn was just smiling happily before she was looking towards the doctor as he was stating that from now on she would be coming to him for monthly checkups. "Anything ever feels odd, or you just have a strange feeling about the baby - you come to me. Even if you are doing a task for your master and you have a sudden feeling that something is wrong - you drop what you are doing, and you come to me." the doctor was speaking - making sure that she knew now that her baby needed to be her concern even over making sure that her master was happy. This had Braelyn giving a nod of her head and it wasn't long before the doctor was stating that he was going to be getting her some supplements to take during the pregnancy - just things to make sure that both she and the baby stayed healthy.

Calliope was giving him a kiss back and was waving as he was leaving, before she was heading back inside with the staff.
