Well there were definitely a number of people that were watching what was happening between Alexi and Braelyn, there were a few that were taking bets on if they would go all the way then and there. And the fact that he was pointing directly at where they were, now that she was looking, definitely had her heart racing all over again. Damian was just getting irritated at that point in time but him causing such a spectacle at the auction was going to cause issues. Trying to even argue that she had been removed because of abuse was going to be difficult, with so many people there. No he knew exactly what the man was doing... he was publicly trying to turn other masters against the brothers, force the return of the man's pet. And Damian could only imagine what kind of hell and torment that Calliope might go through if she were forced to go back to him.
