"Not abuse. Punishment for disobedience. All masters do it. You have to be firm with your pets and make sure that they know who the master is or they will get different ideas." the man was speaking after a moment in time.
 
The man was just looking before he was speaking, "The only good pet is one that fears their master. It would be best for Master Alexi to make sure his pet understands who is the boss. Least she walk all over him like my own pet did."
 
Alexi looked at him "no a pet shouldn't fear their master but that is besides the point the point is you have no claim on her so leave in nine months if you want the child you can claim it"
 
The man was just stating that he wouldn't want to reclaim the bastard child of some pet that had abandoned him. There was actually a verbal hope from him that something happened to the child and it died.
 
The man was just stating that there wouldn't be anything stopping him at that point in time. With that he was leaving although he was definitely making a play of walking towards the car though, knowing that it would perhaps bother or worry Alexi. Especially since his own pet was within the car. And this man was already known to be a bit unhinged. Braelyn was just moving away in the car so that she was against the door opposite of the man.
 
The man was just commenting, "Your own little pet seems well trained but... still needs more training." With that he was heading off towards where his own car was at.
 
Braelyn was just watching the man leave although it wasn't long before she was just scurrying over to Alexi.
 
Braelyn was just following after him into the house. Although it wasn't long before a maid seemed to be coming down and was speaking, "Please follow me to Lord Caleb. He doesn't wish to leave the Lady's side right now."
 
"Many of them are ignoring the man but there are some that were a bit skeptical about the lady in the first place. Those mans words have just increased that doubt that they had that she would be a good wife to Lord Caleb." the maid was speaking after a moment in time.
 
"Although this whole situation has her bedridden. She woke with a fever this morning and the stress from that man showing up only made it worse, and she ended up passing out while you were on the phone with Lord Caleb, why he hung up on you so suddenly." the maid was speaking and was knocking on a door before entering the room, holding the door open for them.
 
Alexi nodded his head and then walked into the room and spotted Caleb tending to Calliope "make sure he is watched as well he will make himself sick tending to her if you're not careful"
 
This had the maid nodding her head before she was speaking, "I am aware. He is often like that with his staff as well, so we know what to look out for." With that she was allowing them to enter the room. Calliope didn't seem to be awake at all, and didn't seem like she was doing all that well at all. Just breathing a bit heavily and she was flush red from a fever, despite looking as though she was shivering.
 
Caleb looked at Alexi and nodded his head and then her returned to tending to Calliope. Alexi walked over and whispered to him that the man was gone and but to be careful
 
Braelyn was just following after quietly and just looked around the room. It wasn't long before she was actually speaking in a soft voice, "Try burning some yarrow... It can help with a fever, and it will be a little safer with her being pregnant."
