Smiling at the picture, he replied to her text right away. ''It's perfect and looks wonderful on you. Can't wait for tonight and to see you again.'' Thinking for a moment, he then send another text right after. ''I've missed you.''

After he had eaten a bit, Matt got ready to pick Emma up, dressed in a black suit jacket, a white buttoned shirt and dark blue jeans. At the agreed time, he parked his car in front of the place where Emma lived before he got out and walked over to her. Placing his hand on her waist, he pulled her in for a kiss on her cheek. ''It's good to see you. The dress looks perfect on you, even better than in the picture.'' He wasn't sure how Emma felt about showing any further affection right where she lived. So instead of kissing her some more, he took a step back and admired the view in front of him. ''All eyes will be on you tonight, mine for certain.'' Closing the distance between them, he reached out to her hand and took it into his. ''Ready?''

Just like he always did, he walked with her over to his car, held the door to the passenger seat and waited until she was inside before he walked around the car and got in as well.
