Have you ever read one of those old choose your own adventure books where you flip to a certain page depending on the choices that you made and wound up getting the bad ending? Imagine this thread as one of those books, but all the endings are bad endings for your unfortunate character. Now when I say bad ending, I don't mean that lightly. We're talking getting kidnapped by an obsessed stalker, a low level adventurer wandering into a high level dungeon on accident and winds up getting violated by some disgusting beast, a POW getting raped and then executed by a camp guard. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture. This is not for the faint of heart, and if this is not something you're into I strongly suggest clicking off this request and browsing the other threads. However if you've kept reading for this long, then chances are you haven't been turned off by the premise of this thread.
Now I would like to make a small disclaimer saying that I obviously don't condone doing any of these things irl, but the whole point of being on an adult roleplaying forum is that we all have the ability to explore fantastical or taboo themes in a setting where nobody actually gets hurt. I'll be a bit honest I don't really enjoy posting a laundry list of pre-made scenarios because it feels like we're both getting locked into the scenes that are listed in the thread. I'd much rather build a scene from the ground up with my partners, that way we can have an in-depth discussion about things we'd like to include or exclude. But with that being said, I realize that having at least a couple suggestions in terms of different ideas for scenarios can help get the brain juices flowing and help us be more creative, so here goes:
1. Fantasy Racism: This takes place in a rather generic fantasy world that features your standard elves, gnomes, halflings, dwarves, etc. alongside humans. However, this fantasy world has a darker side. It operates on a strict racial hierarchy with elves at the top because they're the only race that has mastered the use of magic. Dwarves being a tier below them but still considered valuable and useful due to their exceptional smithing abilities allowing them to become highly skilled craftsmen. Gnomes being ranked similarly due to their high levels of intelligence allowing them to develop technology that could be used to enhance the elves' magical abilities. Halflings a rung below them, their shrewdness often making them good merchants, traders, or even diplomats for a very lucky few. And humans being at the bottom, often viewed as stupid and barbaric, mostly used for manual labor and looked down on with contempt by the others, but especially the elves. However the humans have secretly developed a device that neutralizes the elves' magical abilities, and one scientist has been able to acquire a female elf in order to test this new device, and begins to thoroughly enjoy having absolute power over someone that has treated his kind like dirt for so long.
**Note** If you're comfortable with it we can also adapt this idea to include real world racism. Or if you don't mind playing anthropomorphic characters we can also adapt this idea as a sort of predator vs. prey animal hierarchy.
2. Rape Conversion Therapy: This takes place in an extremely socially backward conservative alternate reality where those who are LGBT are viewed as degenerates and perverts, people who are infected with a "moral sickness" that compels them to live an unnatural lifestyle and are forced to live on the fringes of society as a result, having little to no rights. The state views them as a social disease, something that is a threat to a healthy "moral" society that must be cured. Even going so far as to use baseless pseudo science as a way of "curing" them. One of these new methods is called rape conversion therapy, which hypothesizes that through enough forced intimate relations with the opposite sex, it can rewire their brain to a more natural heterosexual state and cure them of their disease. Your character has been sent to one of these camps in order to cure them of their "disease" of lesbianism.
**Note** Just a quick yet fairly obvious warning. This idea will contain rampant amounts of homophobia/transphobia.
3. The Master And His Pet: Your character has quite the gambling problem, and that has caused them to borrow large sums of money from some shady characters. When it comes time to pay your debt, you obviously don't have the money to pay for it. However, the man in charge has a proposal that, if you agree to, will wipe your debt clean. You are to be his "pet" for one year, and must comply with all his demands, without question. When he says pet, he means it. Being forced to eat kibble, sleep in a crate, go to the bathroom outside, etc. Even being forced to "mate" with his actual dog on camera. Basically, you will be stripped of your humanity and be treated as nothing more than an animal. Will your character be resilient enough to hold onto their humanity when their time as a pet is up? Or will their mind break and adopt the role of an obedient doggy?
**Note** How your character winds up in this situation is flexible. I just used the gambling debt idea as a placeholder.
Obviously, we don't have to do any of these ideas. I'm more than open to suggestions. After all, the point is to create an rp that we both enjoy. In terms of characters, they must first and foremost all be at least 18 years old. And secondly I don't like to use face claims of irl people. I'd be more than happy to use a drawn or anime style ref, an AI generated image, anthropomorphic characters, etc. I would also like to point out that trans and non-binary characters that appear conventionally feminine are also welcome. On that topic your irl gender is irrelevant to me. If you can play a convincing female character that's all I need. I'd also like to keep this rp on site, through either threads or in PMs.
**What you can expect of me** I'll admit that I don't know much about formatting and making posts look pretty, but I do have about a decade of on and off ERP experience and I strive to make very substantial, detailed posts. My default is usually 4-5 paragraphs, but I can definitely type more if I'm feeling particularly inspired or if my partner gives me a lot to work with in their posts. I won't be able to post daily or on weekends due to my work schedule, but I typically try my best to respond at least a few times a week. However if I'm having a bit of a brain fart and don't feel up to writing a post I'll let you know. I'd rather give you a high quality post than force myself to post and give you a poor quality response.
