The room did remain silent but that was more so because the prince wasn't in his room at the time - he was already in his office. "Oh I apologize... I meant to tell you that you are to report to the office in the mornings." the head maid was coming up out of nowhere and was just apologizing once again.

Zephyria was heading towards the man's office so that she could actually meet him and go over the schedule of the day with him.
 
Blair looked at her and then nodded her head and headed to the office. while she found it odd that she hadn't been told she didn't blame the head maid as she had a lot on her plate so it was easy for something to slip her mind.

Jake sat down and started to work on the paper work that covered his desk as he knew it needed to get done
 
The head maid was just letting out a small breath before leading her towards the office. No the woman definitely had a lot going through her head at that point in time - she had just fired a number of maids and was in the process of training a number of other maids.

Zephyria was approaching the office and was soon knocking on the door. "My lord. My name is Zephyria, and I was just recently hired as your assistant. Might I come in?"
 
Blair looked at the office door and then knocked on it "Sire my I enter" Blair figured it was better to introduce herself once in the room rather then through the door.

Zephyria would hear him call out to come in and then something fall and some cursing
 
Zephyria was walking into the office although she did go in a bit more hurried when she heard something fall and then the cursing. "Is everything alright?" she was questioning, concern in her voice.

"Come on in." Andrei was calling out after he heard the knock on the door. Oh he recognized the voice as the woman who he had met at the cafe a while back.
 
Blair walked in to the office and when she came face to face with him she pretended to not know he was the prince "oh I didn't know you were the prince"

Jake nodded his head as he went to work cleaning up the fallen papers "yes I just knocked a stack of paper work over is all"
 
Andrei was just looking towards her before he was chuckling a bit before he was commenting, "I am indeed. Crown Prince Andrei, a pleasure to meet you."

Zephyria was just going over so that she could help him clean up the papers that were laying around.
 
"its a pleasure to officially meet you your highness" Blair had been told to address him by his title unless told otherwise. as she didn't want to get in to trouble he would make sure to follow that rule

Jake muttered as he cleaned up and set everything back on his desk
 
Andrei was just looking towards her before he was speaking, "Please it is Andrei when there are no visitors in the palace." No when there were no visiting royals at the palace pretty much everybody spoke to him informally and that is how he wanted it.

Zephyria was just helping him get stuff picked up and was questioning, "How shall I help, your highness?"
 
Bair nodded her head "of course" this made things simpler for her as she didn't have to remember to call him his title all the time but she would have to be careful when he had visitors.

"Jake please" Jake then stacked everything on his desk and stood
 
Zephyria was giving a nod of her head before she was speaking, "As you wish, Jake." With that she was giving a small smile before just waiting to see what he was wanting her to do.
 
once the formalities were done with Blair went over Andrei's daily schedule so that he knew what if any appointments for that day

Jake then looked at her "so what hell awaits me today?"
 
Zephyria was just telling him his schedule for the day, although it was actually pretty simple that day. Although after a moment in time she was speaking, "I was also informed that I will be attending these meetings with you." And there was one of them where he was meeting with some of his senior advisors, it seemed like a bit of a strange thing that she needed to be there.

Andrei just listened for a moment in time before he was speaking, "Well the day doesn't seem too frustrating today."
 
Blair nodded her head "yes sir is there anything you need me to do for you?" Blair had her own paper work to do but she wanted to make sue the didn't need her first

Jake frowned when she said that she would be attending the meetings with him but he didn't question it
 
Andrei was just looking towards her before he was speaking, "Yes I have a stack of papers over there if you wouldn't mind sorting through them for me. Just put all proposals in one pile and everything else in another." Actually the proposals could go into the fire but he wasn't going to tell her that at all.

Zephyria was just commenting that she had been told this by an older man, but she wasn't sure who he had been. Yet Jake would have an idea... an older advisor who was more doing it to look out for Jake as some of the others tried to state "well you have a meeting this day this time" and there were times when Jake had do idea at all.
 
Blair nodded her head and then took the papers that he was telling her to sort and headed to her desk so that she could go through them.

Jake nodded his head "ok" Jake figured she would point out who told her when she saw them
 
Zephyria was just stating, "I remember he had said that it was for your benefit as a number of the advisors tried to make it seem like you were forgetting about meetings, when they were just randomly adding them." No that would definitely tell him exactly who she was talking about.

Andrei was just handing over the stack while he continued going through the more important documents in front of him at the time.
 
Jake nodded "ok now I know who you're talking about please make sure to list any and all meeting they mention. "

Blair settled at her desk and went to work sorting through the papers
