In the Golden Age a battalion of mystery men called the Justice Society defended their Earth from an axis of evil with might and magic.
In the Silver Age an alliance of super-heroes known as the Justice League protected their Earth from villains from their world and from beyond the stars with powers that confound science.
Now it is the Modern Age and this Earth faces threats beyond imagination. It is time for the wonders of the world to unite and rise up asā¦
The concept for this story is an original DC Comics world populated by characters untethered by previous history, focused primarily on a group of heroes known as Justice Unlimited. Much like the Justice League was founded mainly by new characters based on ones from the Justice Society, Justice Unlimited is inspired by those groups as well. In some cases there could be little difference (Superman, Batman), in other new takes on established archetypes (the Flash, Green Lantern). Or going in a pretty different direction such as the Atom. There could even be new characters without counterparts.
On this world (dubbed Earth-Unlimited by comic cosmologists) superhumans began creeping into the public consciousness around four years ago, with the last one or two containing many debuts of these powerful beings called "wonders." Now an event is about to occur, a threat that causes a group of heroes to join forces and overcome this adversity. From this arises a new organization dedicated to protecting the world, the Justice Foundation.
As stated the degree that characters resemble or diverge from canon is up to the writer. Feel free to create new locations, enemies, supporting cast, etc for your creation. Original characters are also welcome. This is just an interest check for now, let me know any questions you might have.
