He made a noise and looked back at everyone, "I'm glad."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She made a soft noise. “Does it not please you..?”

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"It does," he replied, "I just thought there was another reason for you to smile like that."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“How do you mean..?” She asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He shook his head, "Nevermind." He said before pushing himself up, "We should start planning."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She made a soft noise and moved to follow behind him. “As you wish..”

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He stepped out of the sanctum and headed down the hall to the high priest chambers.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She followed, eyeing him curiously. Something seemed very off about him lately.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He moved to his scrolls and pulled them open, looking over maps of the area with her. He spoke with her on the different places they could send missionaries, and for once seemed pretty at peace with her so close.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

She smiled to herself, loving that he seemed so calm now. His plans seemed.. rather aggressive, however.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He didn't want any room for failure, he wanted the church to expand as much and as quickly as possible.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

It was like looking at a military campaign. But, she had no choice but to trust him.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"You look upset," he remarked, "what's wrong?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“Just.. studying your plans, that’s all.. making sure I remember them..” she said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Lina, I'm not blind nor am I stupid." He said.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“This.. well it.. looks like a conquest, not a religious mission..” she said hesitantly, all too aware of how easily he could become upset.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Are there not crusades? Great and holy missions in the name of a god or religion?" He asked.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“We have protection from the paladins but we have never been a militant order..” she said, trying to keep a safe distance.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

He watched her, "You act as if I will strike you."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“You have been.. irritable as of late..” she said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"I am plagued by vague visions and demands. Would you not be driven mad by such things?" He asked.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“I do not hold it against you..” she said, looking away. She had not had visions as such, having been unable to since her change.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"I am irate with the tasks set before me." He said.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

“Y-Yes, of course..!” She said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Perhaps my methods are a bit strong." He said, looking over the plans.
